I let that lady and her two kids cross the road even though I had the right of way. It was not my idea... it was God's idea. I was in the air conditioned car and she was in the squelching heat with her kids. I'm glad I didn't cause a car accident. I did my random act of kindness (Wed.) I probably should have handed them some bottled water but I didn't have any. Note to self. =)

You are so right Meredith! Those little things we do for others often seem huge to the recipient! It will come back to you when someone else pays it forward.

I just watched a movie (Whale Rider, 2003), suggested by my Father in law, about a little girl who brought her tribal town in New Zealand together. He said he liked it because the girl was the leader. It is striking to me that he appreciated that detail. =) I hope you're having a wonderful July so far!
