The blue line at the top is the US; the other lines are for other advanced countries. What I find most striking here is the higher US level of violence.
Americans not only engage in violence, they are entertained by it. Football, which is so violent it destroys the brains of those who play it. Violent films dominate our motion picture theaters and television sets. Our children play killing video games. Yes it is sad Judy and what's even sadder is, that things are going to get worse according to God's word at Matthew 24. I believe what I read because Jesus told his disciples what to expect and it is happening as he said. How does he know this? He got it straight from God. There is a bright side at Matthew 24:14. I recommend reading the entire chapter, it will be very enlightening and there is great ending for us on this earth.

I am afraid I must agree with you. America is vicious. It's kind of odd you did this one. My husband was telling me today where he works someone for no reason at all had stomped on some little bird eggs that were about to hatch just because! With the little momma bird right there. Now how horrible is that? Many people today don't feel anymore about stomping out the life of a human as they do about stomping on eggs. It is so very sad.
