WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED

It was mid-afternoon on June 11, 1997. Since my husband Bill would be coming home from work in a little while, I started to prepare our evening meal. I wanted to deep-fry some catfish, so I put a pot filled with grease on the stove and turned on the burner.

While the grease was heating, I went down in the basement and put a load of clothes in the washer. This only took me about five minutes.

We’re writing this post because, as Christians, we are fed up with corrupt politicians who lie, steal, and cheat, have no integrity, are hypocritical incompetents, and abuse their power. Their main interest is in padding their personal bank accounts and they have no real interest in our country or the people who elected them. It’s Time For A Change!

BAD POLITICIANS ARE ELECTED BY GOOD PEOPLE WHO DON’T VOTE.

As Christians, we have a responsibility to vote. Don’t be one of the 39 million Christians who sat out the last election and didn’t vote.

Before you vote, take a look at the platforms of both major political parties and determine how they compare with our Biblical values? Then, vote the Bible.

CONSIDER WHAT IS GOING ON IN OUR PREDOMINANTLY BLACK INNER CITIES.

• UNEMPLOYMENT: Jobs are few and far between. Over half of young black men in the inner cities are unemployed or in prison.

• EDUCATION SYSTEM: Many of our inner city schools are not even accredited. This is not the kind of education we should be providing for our children!

• CRIME, VIOLENCE AND MURDERS: At an all time high! Dangerous to venture out of the safety of your home.

• DRUGS: Taking over our country and our neighborhoods.

• HOUSING: Home values are depressed. Home ownership is low. There are 1000’s and 1000’s of abandoned homes.

• POVERTY: Poverty, hunger and homelessness are a major problem.

ALSO CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING:

• Abortion And The Murder Of 60 Million Plus Babies.

• God’s Plan For Marriage Between A Man And A Woman.

• Globalism Versus Nationalism;

• Illegal Immigration And Our Wide Open Borders;

• Increasing Terrorism;

• Political Correctness - Pastors Not Speaking The Truth From Their Pulpits For Fear Of Losing Their Tax Exempt Status;

• Poor National Security;

• Severely Weakened Military;

• Stagnant Economy;

• Supreme Court Judge Appointments and possible loss of personal and religious freedoms. This includes our second amendment rights;

• Unaffordable Healthcare;

• Unsustainable Government Debt.

If we keep voting the same politicians or party back in office, the above is what we will continue to have.

If the above is not what we want, it’s time that we make a change. Don’t keep voting for the same politicians or party that have caused all these problems. You can’t change Washington unless or until you change the politicians you send there. The same applies to your city, county and state governments. Think about all of the above and the politician(s) you are considering before you cast your vote.
