For example:</span><br /> <br /> <span style="font-size:16px;font-weight:bold;"><span style="color:#9932cc;">(a)</span>. View setbacks as detours, not dead ends. Winners don't just face adversity; they embrace it, knowing it leads to future success.</span><br /> <br /> <span style="font-size:16px;font-weight:bold;"><span style="color:#9932cc;">(b).</span> Tune out the critics and focus on doing your best. Anybody who accomplishes anything worthwhile has to overcome naysayers.</span><br /> <br /> <span style="font-size:16px;font-weight:bold;"><span style="color:#9932cc;">(c)</span>. When you're afraid, praise God until your faith rebuilds. It may take a while, but praise and thanksgiving never fail, and will give you the strength to go on.</span><br /> <br /> <span style="font-size:16px;font-weight:bold;"><span style="color:#9932cc;">(d)</span>. When you fail, look for the lesson and remember all the times you've succeeded. Weed out self-doubt and replace it with scriptural self-talk.</span><br /> <br /> <span style="font-size:16px;font-weight:bold;"><span style="color:#9932cc;">(e)</span>. When you're heading into battle, visualize yourself winning in God's strength-with Him "all things are possible" (Mt 19:26).</span><br /> <br /> <span style="font-size:16px;font-weight:bold;"><span style="color:#9932cc;">(f)</span>. Instead of focusing on the past and worrying about the future, focus on the now-that's where your influence is greatest. remember, God said, "As your days, so shall your strength be" (De 33:25 NKJV).</span><br /> <br /> <span style="font-size:16px;font-weight:bold;"><span style="color:#9932cc;">(g)</span>. Instead of complaining, work on identifying solutions, and more will come to you.</span><br /> <br /> <span style="font-size:16px;font-weight:bold;"><span style="color:#9932cc;">(h)</span>. When you're distracted, focus on your breathing, take a walk and clear your mind, think on what you can control, and surrender the rest to God.</span><br /> <br /> <span style="font-size:16px;font-weight:bold;"><span style="color:#9932cc;">(i)</span>. When you're lonely, remember the people who've helped you this far and who love and support you.</span><br /> <br /> <span style="font-size:16px;font-weight:bold;"><span style="color:#9932cc;">(j)</span>. When you're fatigued, take time to rest-but never ever give up! Finish strong in everything you do.</span><br /> <br /> <span style="font-size:16px;font-weight:bold;"><span style="color:#9932cc;">(k)</span>. When you're under pressure and under scrutiny, smile and have fun. You only live once. Life is short...so seize the moment!</span></p><div style="text-align:center;"><i><br /></i></div><div style="text-align:center;"><p align="center"><i><span style="color:#0000ff;font-weight:bold;font-size:14px;"><span style="color:#800080;font-size:16px;font-weight:bold;"><span style="font-size:16px;"><big>Regards and Blessings to you,</big><br /> <br /> <span style="font-size:16px;"><big>Jack McLaughlin (JMAC)</big></span></span></span></span></i></p></div><p align="center"><span style="color:#4682b4;"><strong>~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~</strong></span></p><p align="center"><span style="color:#4682b4;"><strong><br /></strong></span></p><p align="center"></p><div><p align="center"><a href="http://www.your-daily-income.com/"><img src="http://www.your-daily-income.com/images/ydi%20banner250x250.png" alt="ydi banner250x250.png (115478 bytes)" width="247" border="0" height="246" /></a></p><br /> <br /><div style="text-align:center;"></div></div><p style="font-size:16px;" align="center"><span style="color:#4682b4;"><strong><span style="font-size:16px;font-weight:bold;">~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~</span></strong></span></p><p align="center">Follow Me:</p><dl><dd><p align="center"><big><font face="Verdana"><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-size:16px;"><a href="http://www.facebook.com/YourDailyIncome"><img alt="Facebook.png (2174 bytes)" src="http://www.your-daily-income.com/images/Facebook.png" width="37" border="0" height="37" /></a><a href="https://plus.google.com/101676442129130661667"><img alt="GooglePlus.png (2606 bytes)" src="http://www.your-daily-income.com/images/GooglePlus.png" width="37" border="0" height="37" /></a><a href="http://www.linkedin.com/pub/jack-mclaughlin/2a/685/404"><img alt="LinkedIn.png (2444 bytes)" src="http://www.your-daily-income.com/images/LinkedIn.png" width="37" border="0" height="37" /></a><a href="https://myspace.com/yourdailyincome"><img alt="MySpace.png (2658 bytes)" src="http://www.your-daily-income.com/images/MySpace.png" width="37" height="37" /></a><a href="http://www.pinterest.com/pinterestjmac/"><img alt="Pinterest.png (1952 bytes)" src="http://www.your-daily-income.com/images/Pinterest.png" width="37" border="0" height="37" /></a></span></span></font></big></p></dd></dl><p align="center"><span style="color:#4682b4;"><strong>~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~</strong></span></p></div>My Weekly Devotional - How Quickly They Grow!https://syndicationexpress.ning.com/profiles/blogs/my-weekly-devotional-how-quickly-they-grow2014-03-11T02:31:26.000Z2014-03-11T02:31:26.000ZJack McLaughlin (JMAC)https://syndicationexpress.ning.com/members/JackMcLaughlinJMAC<div><p><span style="color:#4169e1;"><span style="font-weight:bold;"><span style="font-style:italic;"><span style="font-size:16px;">Do you remember wishing your kids were grown? Suddenly you're amazed at how quickly it's happening. In my case, I'm amazed at how quickly it <span style="color:#800080;">has</span> happened. The truth is, they'll soon be gone, leaving the place feeling deserted and quiet.<br /><br /> A friend of mines put it poignantly: "I pass a lot of houses on my way home; some pretty, some inviting. But my heart skips a beat when I see my house nestled against the hill. I'm especially proud of the way it looks because I drew the plans myself. It started out large enough for us. I even had a study, in which the two teenage boys now reside! It had a guest room, but my girl and nine dolls are permanent quests there now. It had a room for Peg, who hoped to turn it into her sewing room, a study, just for the two of us.<br /><br /> But it won't be empty. Every corner, room, nick in the coffee table will be full of memories. Memories of picnics, Christmases, birthdays, bedside vigils...going barefoot, vacations, cats, dogs, parakeets, gold fish, black eyes...graduations, first dates, arguments, ball games...and a thousand other things that fill the lives of those who rear five kids. And Peg and I will sit quietly by the fire and listen to the laughter in the walls."<br /><br /> Childhood and youth evaporate swiftly. So fill them with loving, wonderful and sustaining memories. Don't just spend quantity time, spend quality time. "Make every minute count."</span></span></span></span></p><div style="text-align:center;"><br /><p> </p></div><p align="center"><big>~Like or Share if you enjoyed this post~</big></p><p align="center"><span style="color:#4682b4;"><strong>~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~</strong></span></p><p align="center"><span style="color:#4682b4;"><strong><br /></strong></span></p><div><p align="center"><big>Regards and Blessings to you,</big><br /><br /> <span style="font-size:16px;"><big>Jack McLaughlin</big></span> <span style="font-weight:bold;">(JMAC)</span></p><p align="center"><span style="font-weight:bold;"><br /></span></p><p align="center"><a href="http://www.your-daily-income.com"><img src="http://www.Your-Daily-Income.com/images/ydi%20banner250x250.png" alt="ydi banner250x250.png (115478 bytes)" height="246" border="0" width="247" /></a></p></div><p style="font-size:16px;" align="center"><span style="color:#4682b4;"><strong><span style="font-size:16px;font-weight:bold;"><br /></span></strong></span></p><p style="font-size:16px;" align="center"><span style="color:#4682b4;"><strong><span style="font-size:16px;font-weight:bold;">~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~</span></strong></span></p><p align="center"> Follow Me:</p><dl><dd><p align="center"><big><font face="Verdana"><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-size:16px;"><a href="http://www.facebook.com/YourDailyIncome"><img alt="Facebook.png (2174 bytes)" src="http://www.your-daily-income.com/images/Facebook.png" height="37" border="0" width="37" /></a><a href="https://plus.google.com/101676442129130661667"><img alt="GooglePlus.png (2606 bytes)" src="http://www.your-daily-income.com/images/GooglePlus.png" height="37" border="0" width="37" /></a><a href="http://www.linkedin.com/pub/jack-mclaughlin/2a/685/404"><img alt="LinkedIn.png (2444 bytes)" src="http://www.your-daily-income.com/images/LinkedIn.png" height="37" border="0" width="37" /></a><a href="https://myspace.com/yourdailyincome"><img alt="MySpace.png (2658 bytes)" src="http://www.your-daily-income.com/images/MySpace.png" height="37" width="37" /></a><a href="http://www.pinterest.com/pinterestjmac/"><img alt="Pinterest.png (1952 bytes)" src="http://www.your-daily-income.com/images/Pinterest.png" height="37" border="0" width="37" /></a></span></span></font></big></p></dd></dl><p align="center"><span style="color:#4682b4;"><strong>~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~</strong></span></p></div>Remember Best, Forget Resthttps://syndicationexpress.ning.com/profiles/blogs/remember-best-forget-rest2014-02-17T17:23:02.000Z2014-02-17T17:23:02.000ZStephen Edgecombehttps://syndicationexpress.ning.com/members/StephenEdgecombe<div><p></p> <ul><li> <div> <span>Well, to day I completed my 365th day of my Rick Warren Devotional Reading Plan! As Brother Mark Bethel use to sing, "it'll do your soul some good!"</span> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />I thought I would share this inspiring, final devotional with you my readers. I hope it inspires you to be a better person today both in your personal life and in your relationship with others - family and business associates</div> </li> <li> <div> <br /><span>"What do you remember about people? The good experiences or the bad experiences? Paul said, "I like to remember the good things about people, focus on the good times we've had, remember the positive experiences." <br /><br /><br /><br />When Paul said this he had not had an easy time in Philippi. Acts 16 tells us that when he went to Philippi he was illegally arrested, whipped, humiliated, and thrown into prison -- before finally being asked to leave town. Yet he says, "I thank God every time I remember you." <br /><br /><br /><br />Paul could have dwelt on the negative. He could have remembered the painful memories. He chose not to remember the painful; instead, he focused on the things he could be grateful for. <br /><br /><br /><br />Maybe you have been hurt in the past by a parent or a partner and you're still holding on to that hurt. As a result you can't enjoy being around them today. You're still focusing on the bad and the negative. Be grateful for the good in people. Pleasant memories are a choice. I can choose what I'm going to remember about the past.<br /><br /><br /><br />If you want to enjoy others, you've got to focus on their strengths and not their weaknesses. With some people it takes a lot of creativity. But you can find something good in everybody.<br /><br /><br /><br />I'm not saying that you deny the hurts you've had or that you excuse the weaknesses in other people. That is psychologically unhealthy. But focus on the good and choose to emphasize the strengths."</span></div> </li> <li><span style="font-size:13px;">Now go and choose to Remember the Best and Forget the Rest!</span></li> </ul><p><span style="font-size:13px;"> Visit <a href="http://www.steledge1.myunicity.net">http://www.steledge1.myunicity.net</a> and get healthy also!</span></p> <ul><li><a href="{{#staticFileLink}}3818723243,original{{/staticFileLink}}"><img src="{{#staticFileLink}}3818723243,original{{/staticFileLink}}" width="378" class="align-center" alt="3818723243?profile=original" /></a></li> <li><a href="https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#1444023a9b127790_reading_1">Philippians 1:3</a></li> </ul><p><img src="https://ci4.googleusercontent.com/proxy/6B43vey3EbbTMw96cZwMqpwXwOsfZCAtg6cvRTWvhsiYzaMuRsMt-uYGVJd5vWTTXHpuU1eb-aCjGYp-oJFvWRQin8-EMR2MltzcmekgaHc0FWQJngY=s0-d-e1-ft#%3Ca%20rel%3Dnofollow%20href=" alt="6B43vey3EbbTMw96cZwMqpwXwOsfZCAtg6cvRTWvhsiYzaMuRsMt-uYGVJd5vWTTXHpuU1eb-aCjGYp-oJFvWRQin8-EMR2MltzcmekgaHc0FWQJngY=s0-d-e1-ft#%3Ca%20rel%3Dnofollow%20href=" /><a href="http://web-assets.youversion.com/html-email/smartcomm/spacer.png">http://web-assets.youversion.com/html-email/smartcomm/spacer.png</a>" /><span><a></a></span></p> <h2><br /><br /></h2></div>
