I don't think he understood what we were saying, as much as how we were saying it Obviously we thought it was hilarious once we figured it out. Many times over the years I've tried to record him "talking back" as we say, but could never get it. I was always just too late or he would sit there and act like he had no idea what I was saying till I put the phone down. Both my dogs hate the phone as you can tell by this picture. </span></span></font></span></p> <p style="text-align:center;"><span style="color:#000000;"><font color="#0000FF"><span style="font-size:21.3333px;"><a href="{{#staticFileLink}}3818736709,original{{/staticFileLink}}"><img src="{{#staticFileLink}}3818736709,original{{/staticFileLink}}" width="640" class="align-center" alt="3818736709?profile=original" /></a></span></font></span></p> <p style="text-align:center;"></p> <p style="text-align:left;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;"><span style="color:#ff0000;"><span class="font-size-5"><a href="http://www.ibosocial.com/MichelleD/pressrelease.aspx?prid=564929" target="_blank">Feel Free To Continue Reading Here</a></span></span></span></strong></p></div>Tootie's Possehttps://syndicationexpress.ning.com/profiles/blogs/tootie-s-posse2017-01-27T16:47:27.000Z2017-01-27T16:47:27.000ZSusan Bostonhttps://syndicationexpress.ning.com/members/SusanBoston<div><p style="text-align:center;"><a href="http://www.naturekrazy.com/2017/01/tooties-posse.html" target="_blank"><img src="{{#staticFileLink}}3818735473,original{{/staticFileLink}}" width="200" alt="3818735473?profile=original" /></a></p> <div style="text-align:left;"> <p><b><font size="5">But seriously, I promised you would meet my posse so let me introduce you. Dog is my navigator, and her name is Kira. When I stumble, Kira is there to lick my face letting me know I am loved. When I am angry and speak harshly to the air, Kira reacts as if it is directed towards her and reminds me that anger and harsh words do have an effect, even when directed at nothing and no one. When I am melancholy, Kira provides silent support reminding me I am never alone. God is Kira. Kira is God. Dog is my navigator, my spiritual compass. As soon as this realization occurs, a greater Truth is revealed.</span></strong></p><p><strong><span>God is all. God is all there is. Nothing exists outside of God. Each person I meet, no matter how brief the interaction, each blade of grass, every tree, smokestack, building, or sunset that enters my consciousness reminds me that I am One of the One. Every rock I sit upon, step on, or over is God. I state unequivocally, without doubt or reservation, that right here in this moment, I accept every person, place, thing, and situation as spiritual guide, navigator and constant reminder, leading me back to who and what I have always been, an important and integral part of the All, of God.</span></strong></p><p><strong><span>I am so very grateful that Kira became part of my life. So when his pooch developed a disability, this compassionate 8-year-old boy jumped into action. He knew he had to do something to help.</div><div> </div><div> </div><div>“He fell down the whole set of stairs and the next day his feet were sort of dragging and we realized [what] had happened to him,” said owner.</div><div> </div><div> </div><div>Ryder’s 9-year-old dog, Cacious, was diagnosed with degenerative mylopathy last fall which caused him to lose function of his hind leg. The solution was an expensive set of wheels. It was then that Ryder jumped into action; stepped up to the plate and started <a href="http://www.ksn.com/2013/08/01/boy-raises-money-for-dogs-wheels/" target="_blank">selling colorful magnets and key-chains</a> to raise enough money to get the set of wheels.</div><div> </div><div> </div><div>According to WLEX, Ryder raised $315 in a matter of days. More than enough to buy “ Cash” his first set of wheels and give him more freedom and mobility. The “leftover money” will be donated to the Humane Society.</div><div> </div><div> </div><div>Mom, Lyssa McConathy, notes that Cacious is now pain-free, playful as ever and follows his “brother” around the yard. Further, this 8-year-old grade school student, Ryder, has already learned the valuable lessons of acceptance, compassion and <a href="http://www.sfi4.com/12232827/FREE" target="_blank">making a difference</a>.</div><div> </div><div> </div><div>What lessons for us all to master! Who do you know that needs compassion and acceptance and to whom you can make a difference – a disabled veteran, a sick neighbor, a starving child, a homeless person, an abandoned baby, a hopeless teenager, an abused wife, an abandoned pet?</div><div> </div><div> </div><p>Sometimes it’s a small act of selflessness that can radically change the direction of a life - A donation (time, talent, treasure) to a Homeless Shelter, AIDS Initiative or Disaster Relief. Sometimes it could be sponsoring a child, adopting a kid, mentoring a youth or simply providing exceptional service to a client. Like Ryder, let’s all make a positive difference!</p><p> </p><p>"For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve...
