I had never seen it before. Burt Lancaster played Robert Stroud, and it was released in 1962.

The commentary after the movie told us that the real Robert Stroud was not as nice as the character in the movie.

from the trivia page of TCM:

Stroud was actually imprisoned in cell #42 located in the D Block. According to Frank Heaney, a former prison guard (1948-51), Stroud was anything but the sympathetic character as portrayed by Burt Lancaster. He was an extremely difficult and demented inmate who, though highly intelligent, was a villain and a psychopath.

After the film's release, many letters were written pleading for Robert Stroud's release. Despite his sympathetic portrayal by Burt Lancaster, Stroud was a conniving and volatile sociopath who killed two people in prison (one a guard he stabbed in full view of the Leavenworth cafeteria), stabbed an orderly who snitched on his escape plan, wrote child pornography and (as an old man at a parole hearing) said that he "had a lot of people left to kill and I don't have much time to do it."

Even so, the movie was so interesting. Of course it stirred my interest is the history of his story. He was brilliant.

Read the entire post athttp://www.ibosocial.com/sallykwitt/pressrelease.aspx?prid=414368

Thank you!

Article Marketing And Blogging Go Hand In Handhttps://syndicationexpress.ning.com/profiles/blogs/article-marketing-and-blogging-go-hand-in-hand2014-07-23T20:52:44.000Z2014-07-23T20:52:44.000ZRobert Butcherhttps://syndicationexpress.ning.com/members/RobertButcher

If you want to increase your traffic by submitting articles then you will need to write a lot of them. It can be cost effective to outsource some or all of this to an article writing service. If you look at paid traffic, and cost per click in particular, and then look at the amount of traffic that a well written article can bring, it is still inexpensive even if you pay to get all of your content produced for you. It pays to keep up to date with the latest article marketing tips, as this, like most things on the internet, is an ever changing subject. Following the guidelines above will help you to get the most return for your efforts.

The use of good article marketing tips while designing an advertising strategy for your website is one of the most effective ways of boosting online traffic and the credibility of a website.

If the topic isn't as dynamic as making lots of money, then simply say what people are looking for. The title of this article states exactly what people using the two keywords are looking for (article marketing promotion" and "article writing service").

http://www.articleproductions.com True article marketing and traffic generation is what this video is about.

Once I mastered article marketing, making money on the internet was one of the easiest things I ever did. Keep your eyes peeled for more useful concepts! (After all, I do write one new article per day.)

To start article marketing, write an original article for your website, making sure it is optimized for your primary keywords and 400 500 words in length. You will want this to be a high quality, well written article as it will be the foundation for more articles to follow. Submit the article to all the major RSS feeds. Once the article is published on your website, ping your website's RSS feed.

The last thing I want to mention is after you have a really good title, but before you hit submit, go to a search engine and search for the title you chose. If there are too many, or any, articles with the same title, choose a new one. You do not want a title that already has an owner you want a unique title if at all possible. That way when someone searches with keywords in your title, they only see yours. And then they will only click on yours!

The better the articles that you write, the more effective they will be. Although our goal with article marketing is two fold, we must never let the desire to increase search position override the fact that articles need to be written for real people. To create a great article , it is vital to have a good title that effectively describes what the article discusses. It is important that the article gets to the point quickly. Keep personal anecdotes to a minimum. It is important to proofread, look for errors in spelling and grammar and edit your articles to develop the best final draft.

To be successful at article marketing you have to make writing a priority. One technique that works well is to set aside a block of time daily just for writing. To be effective you must close your door, turn off your cellphone, and avoid interruptions for the duration of your writing time. Your productivity will skyrocket if you fully commit in this way.

Robert Butcher is a professional internet consultant and has provided many with great insight on how to promote and build their business. I remember something that Chris Jackson wrote in an article about abundance and thinking big and setting goals to reach the level of success that we desire.

He stated that success coaches tell us to “Think Big!”, set big goals, if you want millions, think in millions, there’s no need to settle for less. This is the advice from people who have successfully acquired lots of money by thinking big, it has worked for them.

High profile teachers such as T Harv Eker, John Assaraf and Robert Allen, to name a few, all dreampt of being millionaires from an early age, yet, also experienced all kinds of ups and downs on the way to eventual success. They had fairly big dreams from the outset and succeeded in spite of every setback. But, what about those of us with more modest dreams? Is it more crucial that we think big or that we think true to ourselves? Can or should you force yourself to think big when what really interests you is the smaller stuff?

What are your true dreams? Big houses, cars, toys and long exotic holidays, never worrying about money again? Deeply satisfying work? Inner peace? Maybe you simply want to feel you have made a difference. Thinking very big is fine for Donald Trump but it doesn’t mean that if you start thinking of being a property tycoon that you’ll miraculously become one? No, to do that you’d have to think tycoon type thoughts persistently and accompany those with tycoon type actions for some time indeed and you won’t be able to follow through with any of that unless it is what you truly want. Continue here...

Direct Opinion vs Expert Counsel!https://syndicationexpress.ning.com/profiles/blogs/direct-opinion-vs-expert-counsel2013-05-14T01:12:44.000Z2013-05-14T01:12:44.000ZAngela Valadezhttps://syndicationexpress.ning.com/members/AngelaValadez

Do you tend to listen to people’s opinions when making important decisions that could impact the rest of your life?

Or do you seek out expert counsel?

Usually the people that are having a hard time succeeding tend to listen to “opinions” vs counsel…

If you feel that this is you, then realize that you have a choice right now to change that. Begin to start hanging around with people who have the success you deserve!

Someone who at one time attended a Mark Victor Hansen and Robert Allen workshop said that one of the topics they covered was looking for a personal coach.

When you think about it, what are some of the interests where people would actually be looking for a personal coach.

Here are some:

Basketball, Golf, Football, Tennis, Weightlifting, Business Building and Real Estate, just to name a few.

Most people felt that Michael Jordan would be the best basketball coach. For golf, undoubtedly would be Tiger Woods. Why? Because he’s been through the school of “Hard Knocks.” If you’re thinking about Money, you’d go for Bill Gates or Donald Trump. Real Estate, who else but Robert Kiyosaki, the writer of Rich Dad, Poor Dad. Motivation and Self Confidence, why not Anthony Robbins.

What is the logic here. If you intend to be good at a particular skill than you’d better find someone who is well known for being great at that talent or skill.

A lot of people do not realize that playing skills and coaching skills are two different mediums. Vince Lombardi was never a great football player but is an incredible coach.

If I wanted a Real Estate Investing coach, I would look for Robert Kiyosaki. Why? Because he shows you the comparison between his two mentors. His Rich Dad and His Poor Dad. But when it comes to Real Estate, he self taught, but he also learned a great deal from John Burley regarding Real Estate investing.

Be sure you know who you are teaming up with as a Mentor. Take Michael Jordan the famous basketball player for example. Michael Jordan was one of the most incredible basketball players around, but his coaching skills are not even close to his playing skills.

Tiger Woods was totally awesome at golf. He’d turn heads when he started winning so much at golf. Then one day he decided to fire Butch Harmon.

Tiger fought for a long time to get his swing back on track adding a couple other coaches such as Hank and Sean. He’s getting it all back together now, but maybe if he’d kept Butch it wouldn't have gotten lost in the first place (Only Tiger knows for sure; “My Opinion”).

So always remember when you are looking for a coach. Always look at the results of the students. Who has the top students? That is who your coach should be. Follow a known leader and do as he/she has done.

Another one of those places for some really good coaching or expert counsel could be the “Prosperity Team”, we are here to help you succeed and plug you into a team of individuals all working to better your life in all areas of: Wealth, Health and Happiness!
