God Nudges - My Thanksgiving Prayer!

I'm so grateful to God for every day of my life & for all the blessings He has provided me with...  Thanksgiving just makes me aware of how blessed I am...

I'm reminded of people in war-torn countries like Ukraine who are suffering from a lack of resources just for their survival, like housing, power, heat, medical care, blankets, winter clothes, water & food that we sometimes take for granted...  Even though I live in the richest country in the world, I've learned through the years how important it is to be grateful for all I have instead of putting the focus on all I want...  My appreciation certainly has grown for all I have & has much diminished for my wants as I turn my focus on the importance of my priorities...

Since I live alone, my time is my own so I will use my time on Thanksgiving to reset my priorities...  :D

I haven't made any plans for a high-caloric feast, instead, I will spend my day soul-searching & making adjustments to my lifestyle as I embark on my new plant-based diet...  I will learn how to make delicious-sounding meals from the recipes I've been searching for from one of the top authorities on the subject of vegetarian diets...  The only thing I won't give up is my one egg a day...  I will watch The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade & maybe some football...  I may go for a bike ride since my health has been restored, depending on the weather of course...
I love the independence I'm feeling today...  That was my number one goal that I've accomplished...

I guess this is why Free Willy is one of my favorite movies...  Michael Jackson's music is featured displaying his soul as is felt in the lyrics, another free spirit...  I love the story of lifestyle-freeing independence...  To me, it's an exhilarating story about always having a hopeful heart...
May all who read this enjoy a Happy Thanksgiving...
You may all have my share of the turkey dinner...  I'm doing without tryptophan this year...  :D

I love the Holidays.  Thanks for these videos, Linds.  The Flexitarian Diet may be of help.  It is essentially vegetarian but flexible, so you can add animal products.

I hope you and everyone has had a great Thanksgiving Day.

For me, it is a time of reflection and enjoying peace, whether with family or enjoying a game.

But, it is also important to be thankful for what you have and prayerful for others that find themselves struggling with whatever.

This is amazingly, inspiring Linda Michel White and I can be sure that you'll continue to have a blessed life. God has an assignment for you. I feel that you will accomplish your assignment chosen especially for you. Remember how much God loves us and show him the loyal love he deserves. I'm grateful for waking up to see a new day and for all the blessing I have, and a wonderful friend like you. God has been so good to me and I love him with all my heart, soul and mind.

Terri, thank you for being one of the people I have trusted since the good old days of IBO...  I've found all I need here on your site for my God Nudges domain...  I'm studying Tom's books & I'm enjoying the simplicity of his style... I'll also be promoting your site on Webtalk...  They're doing wonderful things with their site & I've become friends with a fellow in Colorado who has a website teaching me all I need to know about Webtalk to make it a success...  I'll be pretty busy right up 'til Christmas it seems...  Just wanted to let you know I received a huge God Nudge pointing me toward the path I must take to get where I want to go...  Now I'm excited to get started...  Thanks again, Terri, for all you do...  :D

Thank you, Tom...  I'm so glad you enjoy my posts...  I worked hard for my independence that's why I hold onto it so tightly...  The chains that bound me were self-inflicted but I paid attention to life's lessons & broke those chains...  Like you, I moved away from my homeland because I wanted more out of life than I could ever accomplish there...  I have never regretted that move...  Thank you for your support...  My friends here are incredible & I look forward to the comments left for me by them...  That's my encouragement...  :D

Impossible to imagine you in chains Linda! I see a spirit soaring free as a bird and chirping happily as younudge ever closer to the heavens.

I'm so glad you have that vision of me, Tom...  I wouldn't want it any other way...  I have a vision of you also, my friend...  I can picture you in the streets of Old Aberdeen with the Northern Lights as a backdrop & the music of an accordion softly playing in the background...  :D   *Linda*
