God Nudges - What Is Playing For Change?

I've enjoyed the concept of Playing For Change for many years & the one thing I don't understand is why I haven't shared this for so long...  I know I've shared some of the music in past posts, but, tonight I received a God Nudge that directed me to Youtube where I came across these videos... I need to share them with you to show you why this concept is so important to me...  Those who know me will understand my love of people & their music is the driving force behind why I want to share this...  I hope that you enjoy this also & pass it on so others will get the message...  :D

Kudos to Mark Johnson, for this amazing idea of bringing ordinary musicians from different countries of the world into the spotlight, allowing them to expose their talent to the rest of the world...  If we strive to make it happen there can be harmony in this old world...

I will close this out with another favorite of mine, along with Cat Stevens singing Peace Train...  I pray this post makes it around the world so we can assist in showing others what ordinary people with extraordinary talent can accomplish no matter who they are or where they live...

My love reaches out to all of you so we may exhibit love, peace & harmony in this old world of ours...

I am an 83-year-old, Extraordinarily Happy Networker, Senior Blogger & Mentor in Training... I have almost 32 years of personal development and recovery under my belt... I'm a firm believer in one is never too old to learn... I've recently progressed from mourning the loss of my friend, Tom Barabas to celebrating his very accomplished life and that made me feel better... He brought so much beauty and pleasure into so many lives with his music... You can find his music videos on youtube under Tom Barabas...

I just had to read your post and watch these two videos again because the message is a great one. Thanks Linda for doing this. I do hope and pray that it goes viral and people respond favorably to it. Yes peace is the goal in this world and it will be here soon. Until then I just keep praying to the one who can make it happen-Jehovah God. He is the one who inspired these musicians. This is clear to me.

Thank you, Terri, for recognizing my source...  I am a true believer in inspired words because it happens to me all the time...  I get inspired whenever I receive a God Nudge...  I've been receiving them all along but I just needed to learn to pay attention... :D

The idea of bringing ordinary musicians from different countries of the world into the spotlight, thereby allowing them to expose their talent to the rest of the world is indeed inspirational Linda. Everyone benefits from sharing their different heritage and cultures. No-one should be expected to suppress their various beliefs and views of life - and music is the perfect medium for that. Cat Stevens is a brilliant musician. I remember much of his early work such as 'Matthew & Son' which was hugely popular. Thanks for bringing all this joy our way!

Thank you, Tom, for seeing the beauty of Playing For Change...  Such a simple concept to unify people...  If we all learn about each other from each other the music just might bring us together...  How enjoyable for the rest of us who are listening & watching the videos...  :D
