Seniorisms by LMW, Honoring The Courage of Angels

Through the magic of modern-day technology, we get to keep in touch with the good, bad & the ugly of our day... I like to keep the focus on the good as it's far more rewarding than the other two...  Remember, everything happens for a reason...

I am quick to be reminded the world isn't going to end just because I'm unable to fulfill the plans I had for today... Life is all about being able to make lemonade when life hands you lemons... In my lifetime I've learned how to refine that recipe because I've had so much practice... Put in those terms I've learned lemonade isn't such a bad thing... It does tastefully quench my thirst... When it tastes a little too sour I must sweeten it a little to make it more palatable... It's my choice & totally up to me... When I come across obstacles I must remind myself, “If this is going to be it's totally up to me!  It's a choice I must make for myself!”
I use a “Gratitude List”, starting at the top with all I'm
Grateful for today, remembering all who have problems so much greater than mine...  I don't pray for solutions to my problems because all at once they seem pretty insignificant in comparison...

One of my favorite singer/songwriters passed on yesterday...  Today, I want to celebrate his life by including one of his compositions that is one of my all-time favorites...  Given the plight of this old world, we're livin' in this is the message he left us with...  What a legacy he left for us to enjoy...  Thank you, Bill Withers, for all you gave to us...  RIP my brother...  This is my message to you, today...

Let's make it an awesome year from
my little corner of the world to yours!

I am an 83-year-old, Extraordinarily Happy Networker, Senior Blogger & Mentor in Training... I have almost 32 years of personal development and recovery under my belt... I'm a firm believer in one is never too old to learn... I've recently progressed from mourning the loss of my friend, Tom Barabas to celebrating his very accomplished life and that made me feel better... He brought so much beauty and pleasure into so many lives with his music... You can find his music videos on youtube under Tom Barabas...

You're Seniorisms are always inspirational Linda. I know worrying doesn't solve anything and it usually turns out to be a waste of time. Because everything that is meant to be will be. And I agree with you everything happens for a reason.

Robin, worry & fear are the most destructive forces known to mankind... When they are practiced nothing constructive ever gets accomplished... I've learned this lesson from experience... When either of those tries to enter my life I turn them over to God... He usually answers me by sending a "God Nudge"... :D

I'm grateful and thankful to God for waking up to see another day. Here's a thought to ponder "Each day holds its promise, and life’s journey begins anew."

Terri, each day holds a promise for me also... It's up to me to discover that promise, open it & discover what it holds for me... That's why I usually fall behind in my to-do list... I get too absorbed in seeing beauty in all I see! https://youtu.be/p-T6aaRV9HY

I can relate to what you say. It's a skill that I had to learn. Persistence is the key.

I really like this place for my Seniorisms… I think I'll start posting them here first & then IBO so you get more exposure for your site... It was so easy to put that video on there... I want to contact George Pierce also because I want to learn how to use videos in my ads... I'm going to get a beacon from Micky so when I'm out on my trike I can be advertising... Thank you for being my friend... :D

I tried to reduce the size of my profile photo 'cause I don't want to scare people when they click on my posts... So far, I've failed... Thank you for your comment about my little corner of the world! Yes, Tom, this is indeed another day to show my gratitude... I'm also grateful for not being faulted by anyone for self-isolating... :D
