Hi All! I am George Pierce and this post is about Google Docs and
Microsoft 365 and how you can get them for free. If you have tried
to access the free versions before, you may have discovered
the free version was a free trial. This is not a free trial, it is free.
Your free Google Docs includes Google Docs, also Sheets which are spreadsheets, slides for slide shows, and Forms such as Contact Forms and Invitations. What you see above is a snapshot of my Google Docs. It is similar to an HTML editor on steroids. For example, in Tools, you can get word count, spell check, help with grammar, voice typing, and more. The above is a video script, that has been modified into a giveaway (incentive), a re-use of content, and Docs will let us save it directly to PDF if we choose. You can also see above that you can insert tables and images, and embed URLs.
Microsoft 365 is just as awesome, Word is comparable to Docs, and Excel is similar to Sheets.
It also includes Outlook and Calendar. Word will make suggestions as you can see above.
They are both outstanding and, as mentioned, free.

Thank you George Pierce for sharing these tools. I will be checking them out soon. I'm currently working on another project.
I use an HTML editor for stuff saved in HTML such as web pages, and mainly docs for once-and-done content such as scripts that would be saved as videos. Both Docs and MS are superb, thank you, Terri.
Personally I like 100% control over what I create. So far I have found programs that let me have total control uploaded on all my computers. Years ago when I had microsoft office, during searches I was finding content I had created in PDF's created by others. Once bitten twice shy.
I agree about having control, I use both, docs mostly lately, and as far as I know, all my stuff is mine, thank you, Dennis.
I was even finding content online I had copyright "protected". The only way they could be getting this information was by in some way accessing what I was writing in an online format. This was mostly in PDF's created by others. Many times this is before it was even posted to various sites where I was posting content. As I said, once bitten, twice shy. Hopefully they have safeguards in place now to where this doesn't happen.
