There is no cost to you and you’re paid on performance. However, today you have to be very careful. There are plenty of scammers and con artists out there that are more than happy to take your money and hard work off of you. Unfortunately, affiliate marketing is not immune to these scammers. Daily, people are taken in by promises of big money with relatively little effort. In this article we will teach you some of the signs to look for and tell you how to spot a scam.

When you join an affiliate marketing scheme, you are either going to sell a product or a service. With products, you usually have a choice and range to sell. How you decide to do this is largely up to you. You could also sell a service. Web page designs as well as increasing sales and internet traffic are all examples of services offered by affiliate marketing programs.

How many times have you seen an ad on the internet promising huge earnings? Things like I Earn 1000$ a day or Join our program now and become a millionaire. If your look closely at these ads they are not actually selling anything. Any company that is just selling the opportunity to make money is likely a scam. True, some affiliate marketing companies will have attention grabbing headlines like the ones mentioned above. However, if you go on to read the ad and information, there will likely be a detailed description of what the company sells. They will also have a disclaimer and terms and conditions listed.

These companies that offer the opportunity to make money are likely pyramid schemes. The only people paying money in are the ones actually joining. There is no income being created, just money being passed from person to person. Not only are these scams and you’ll lose what you invested, they are also illegal and you can face prosecution.

Another thing to watch out for is no free participation. If you have to pay to join then you may have stumbled upon a scam or what is known as a multilevel marketing program. Multi-level marketing programs are completely legal and some people make good livings from them. However, if you’re not successful you may end up purchasing a bunch of products that you cannot sell.

True affiliate programs are free. That is part of their attraction. There are no costs to you and they should also be risk free. Any Affiliate marketing programs that demands your money is not an affiliate program. You should ask yourself  “why they are misrepresenting themselves this way if they are legitimate?”

Many of us dream of being our own bosses. We would love to be able to take control of our lives and careers. The attraction of answering only to you combined with setting your own working hours and committing what your choose to do,  bring loads of people into the affiliate marketing schemes. Affilaite marketing can be an excellent way for a highly motivated, creative person to make an excellent living. There are some wonderful programs out there just waiting to be joined. However, for every great program there is likely one that is fraudulent. Con artists operate in many areas and unfortunately affiliate marketing is not immune to these scams.

Before joining, check to see what the company is selling. If they are not selling goods or services then they are likely an illegal pyramid scheme. If they require your own money to get started then they are what are known as a multi level marketing program. Affiliate marketing can be very lucrative. It provides people with the opportunity to work for themselves with very little risk to them. Those that are sales savvy, good at marketing and are not afraid of a little hard work can often do incredibly well with an affiliate marketing program.

Affiliate marketing sounds easy but you do need to exercise some caution. You want to avoid the affiliate marketing pitfalls that can ruin your business and worse, have you crawling on your hands and knees back to that boss that now knows how you truly feel.

People tend to get excited when they start a new venture. Unfortunately this excitement and eagerness can cause them to miss key things in their agreement. Whenever you sign up for an affiliate marketing program, you will be expected to sign an agreement. The terms and conditions of the agreement for both sides should be outlined. However, if they want to hide something this is where they will put it. It will either be in the small print, so get your magnifying glass out, or they will baffle you with legal language. Either way, you need to read and understand your agreement thoroughly to avoid disappointment and lost earnings.  I have learnt from my mistakes by not reading the small print !!  That goes for anything you buy.

If you are signing up for a commission based affiliate marketing program then you need to understand how the term revenue is defined. This is one of the biggest pitfalls of the contracts. They may advertise 5-10% commissions but it all falls on how they define revenue. Most affiliate marketing programs will calculate commission on the gross value of the sale. In other words, the amount of money the site will get at the completion of the sale. You may think that this sounds great. However, you need to read this part of the agreement very carfully. The amount of the sale almost always excludes credit card or debit card payment surcharges. They also are likely to exclude payment and delivery charges as well as any gift wrapping or other surcharges. What sounded like a nice commission is soon shrinking before your eyes. Ask these questions specifically before you sign an agreement.

Some affiliate programs are even stricter in their definition of revenue. Your commission may be based on the profit margin of the sold product. For example, if you help sell a book for 20 dollars but the company only makes 10 dollars profit, you’ll receive a percentage of 10 dollars not 20. This can make a substantial difference in your earnings. Again, make sure you understand these things and ask specifically what your commission will be based upon. Read your agreement and look out for odd sounding clauses. These could come back to haunt you later.  If you are not sure, get someone you trust to go over it for you.

Something else to beware of when you work on commission and that is returns. Many affiliate marketing companies only pay commission out on completed sales and then only if the customer keeps the item. If they return the items your commission could be cancelled. To really rub salt in your wounds, you could be billed for the outstanding commission if you do not have sufficient commission credit built up. Make sure you understand this before signing on. You cannot expect a company to pay you a commission on an item that is returned but make sure you understand their return policy. Find out your rights in this situation.

Position sizing: This strategy is limiting each purchase to a previously determined percentage of your portfolio.

• Plus: Works well for larger portfolios because the risk affects only small portion of it.
• Minus: Not appropriate for smaller portfolios.

   When your work place oozes a good working environment and employees can communicate openly, it frees the workplace of unnecessary tension and it cultivates trust in the long run.

However, don’t mistake honesty and open communication with too personal relationships. Once things get too personal in a work place, workers loose sense of duty and dedication to their work and they tend to loose respect for their colleagues.

Contrary to this, too stiff an atmosphere where workers feel like they are in a work-camp and not in their offices may be harmful for both your firm and your employees. At one point they will snap and leave and you’ll loose a great person in your staff.

So, as their superior it is up to you to create a professional yet pleasant environment to work in.

2. Have Empathy

Once leaders gain their status, they tend to forget they were once in their workers’ shoes too. Also, they start lacking professional mannerism in addressing people they work with, they loose touch with real type-conversation.

Don’t be one of those people, please. Keep your human side alert at all times. And, always be open to talking to your employees when they need your help. Once they realize they are appreciated and important to you, they’ll start being happy in their workplace.

3. Verbal and Money Price

When you pay attention to how your workers perform without making it an inspection but rather a mentoring project, you’ll have a happy employee before you. Everyone loves learning from people more successful than they are as this gives them the chance to gain more experience and knowledge.

Once they do a good job, they’ll feel unappreciated if their work isn’t acknowledged. All employees love to feel appreciated and they should. When you notice your worker has accomplished great results, make it your business to let it be known. It’s what every single employee needs!

You can also opt for bonuses with their salary, or other forms of presents like vacations, spa vouchers, etc.

4. Strengthened Employee Relationships

Team building is a well known activity meant for colleagues to get to know each other better. After all, we spend most of our days at work so it can get kind of unpleasant to sit with 20+ people in the office without at least knowing their last name and similar personal stuff.
Statistics show that employees feel happier with peer support and friendships at work! In fact, over 39 percent said they were more productive and 50 percent claimed to be more motivated and excited about their work day.

So, give your workers a chance to get to know each other by throwing office get-togethers or organizing office trips. This will give everyone a chance to find a little more about their fellow colleagues they spend hours and days working next to.

5. Fairness

Most workers have observed that it gets hard to move up the ladder in certain jobs because there is so little fairness going on. Interpersonal relationships seem to be ruling the whole concept of getting ahead. This can be really tough on the introverts as they don’t build as many relationships at work which is why they tend to feel invisible. Be fair enough to appreciate everyone’s work, not just of those who are the loudest.

6. Office Environment

For enhanced productivity, most employees agreed office environment can be either a real downer or a real energy boost! So, if your office isn’t looking its best, give it a little makeover. New coats of paint, new floor rugs, a few plants… and you’ll make a big difference!

The Power of Attraction Marketing

I have spent most of  today watching training videos, taking notes and putting my plans in to action.

Ok you may think that is rather boring but I am dedicated to improving my skills and the only way to do that is to learn and put into action what you learn !  The first thing you need to learn is how to brand yourself and that is done with attraction marketing …..

A few tips below to get you off on the right track …

1. Get yourself known – place a bit of content to your blog every day

2. Set up a fanpage on Facebook – tell a little about yourself everyday

3. Create a video and get it on to Youtube

4. Build an email list and get to know your leads.  Tell them stories, we all love stories and let them know what has been happening in your life.

Blogging is a great way to getting yourself known. Even if it is just a little bit every day. Share what you learn each day.

Readers want to know that they are dealing with a REAL person  so get to know your friends on Facebook and ask them questions about themselves. DO NOT push your business opportunity into their face as soon as you get to know them. Once you have built up a relationship with them then ask them if there is anything you could help them with and then they will be curious about what your business is all about.

If they ask then tell them and offer them the opportunity to learn more. Don’t tell lies and don’t make any promises. You can’t make someone successful but you can inspire and show them the right path to take.

A great way to get yourself recognised is by creating videos. They don’t have to be long, maybe 2-3 minutes or if you are a bit camera shy even just a 30 second video will do and try and do this daily. Whether it is about yourself, your family or your business opportunity, this is a great way to gain a good relationship…….

a)   Legal issues are sometimes involved in blogging; it is safer to include disclaimers and limitations of liabilities
b)   Corporate communication and legal the department are responsible in educating the senior management on how blogs might affect business
c)   Create blogging policies; set limits on who gets to blog and what information is allowed to be made public;
d)   Avoid outright marketing your blog or you will shy away from your readers;
e)   Make your updated content relevant and fresh;
f)    Reinforce the company’s core values and
g)   Encourage employees to use it.
h)   Start blogging and complete 20 posts before starting to market.
i)    Begin marketing.

j)    Regularly monitor the coming ins and outs of readers and get updates. Then, measure your results.
k)   Adjust if needed. You can always play with your designs on the blog site as long as it matches the company’s identity.
l)    Strive to be consistent with your topic all the time.
m)  Try to have unrelated topics with general and broad appeal.
n)   Schedule updates regularly. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday would be best to update blogs.

 
Once you have done all these things, you can now ultimately enjoy the benefits of business blogging.

How Can I Generate More Leads

Below are 8 tips that I hope will be of some help for you.

I have been asked this question many times and I know myself what it is like when you are starting out and trying to generate leads.  A lot of people go the wrong way about it.  I can remember someone telling me quite a few years ago how they just added people’s email addresses to their auto responder.  Do you think they got a lot of unsubscribes?  Yes …  And Why?… Because they didn’t have permission to add them to their autoresponder ….  so that is one tip to take note of …..

Therefore if you are struggling to generate leads then below are some ideas that may help you:

The first step in successful online marketing is generating leads that are going to be genuinely interested in what products you have to offer them and that is going to help them.  I would not recommend promoting any product or software that you have not bought and tried.

1.  A lead box on your capture page is one way to capture traffic.  A lot of people don’t like these pop-up boxes but if you can capture leads then use it.  You can show after about 10 seconds of when a reader enters your blog and then again just before they exit.  You can put a lead box in your sidebar of your blog and possibly offer a free eBook or some sort of offer to make them put their email address in that box.  You can also add a P.S. at the bottom of your blog with a link to a capture page.
2. If you have your own products like an eBook, audio product or video product then you can advertise these in your email signature box.  Or if you want someone to look at your blog then add that on there as well.  You social media sites like, Facebook, Twitter, Use Twitter Cards, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Instagram ….  plus there are many more social media sites.
3. Start a contest or competition whereby the reader has to enter their email address to get the results of the competition and you can always mention what they are likely to receive from you in the future and if it is valuable content they are likely to stay on your list.
4. Create landing/squeeze pages and add some great infographics with stats for whatever niche you are in.  People love to see visual content.  You can also create a landing page to offer an eBook (if you would like to get a copy of my Lead Generation eBook then please click ====>>>>HERE)  You may want to hold a webinar or want someone to watch a video….  this can all be done via a landing/squeeze page.
5. You could hold events (Facebook and other social media sites are a great place to advertise an event) perhaps an online webinar with another company is another idea.
6. Online advertising is the most cost effective CPV (cost per value) method for reaching out to new prospects who are interested in what you have to offer and a great way to drive traffic to your lead generation campaign.
7. Did you know that you can recover lost leads with Ad Retargeting?  This is a great advantage of online advertising as it is the ability to retarget a lost customer !  That will have to be another blog post later …….
8. Lastly you must always track your leads and see where they are coming from so that you know where to target and get the best quality leads from.  If you have some spare cash available then doing solo ads is a great way to generate leads.  But beware you need to research the solo ad vendor and look for testimonials as you want high quality leads.

It is very shallow…

You have no idea of their needs, problems, challenges and desires…

…and when you do that to a prospect, it INSTANTLY repels them, and they will probably never do business with you… EVER!

Your prospect has to feel that you CARE for them and you are not just treating them as a number…

Your BEST prospects are people on your list, or that you’ve known for a long time because they Know, Like and Trust you…

That is why Network Marketing Companies teach you to focus on your WARM market…

Common Mistake #2 – When You Join a New Company, Posting it On Your Wall & Messaging People Without a Clear Strategy…

I see this happen ALL the time…

People get very EXCITED…

They join a new opportunity…

…and within 30 mins of them joining, they’ve plastered their join link all over their Facebook wall, and contacted 20 of their friends… and posted it in multiple groups…

BIG MISTAKE!

As soon as you’ve done that… you’ve lost the GAME…

Seriously… it is over for you and that Opportunity…

You need a GAME PLAN… and a strategy…

You need to use a THREE (3) step process.

1. Pre-Launch
2. Launch
3. Post Launch

You need to get people EXCITED, curious and filled with anticipation about what you are doing…

As soon as people get CURIOUS about it, and think / feel that whatever you are doing can help them… they want it…

But as soon as they know what you’ve got, they have the opportunity to reject you INSTANTLY…

…and they usually do!

Common Mistake #3 – Not Having a Facebook Group / Community Of Your
Own!

I’ve been building communities for the last 7 years…

Communities bring people together.

If you can find a group of people who have a common goal / idea / bond and then bring them together by using a community…

Then you get seen as the EXPERT and people look up to you smile emoticon

All you’ve really done is put the community together and invited people…

The BEST PART about this is that your community will grow virally and on Auto-Pilot… because other people INVITE others to the community…

Which means you generate more leads when you know how to persuade and influence the people in your community…

So, if you still do not have your own Community… you need to get one set up FAST… because when you get it right, it is one of the fastest ways to enhance your Credibility and Authority…

Common Mistake #4 – Promoting Your Company First Instead Of Branding YOU…

I made this mistake many years ago…

I got really excited about an opportunity I had joined that I started to promote the opportunity up front…

I created a Blog, wrote articles, did videos, all for this one company…

I built a team of around 5000 people…

Everything was going great… I was making some great money, and then it happened…

CRASH…

The Company folded, the business vanished and I basically lost my entire downline…

I didn’t build a list, and I promoted the company first…

This was a HUGE mistake…

I see it happen to people all the time…

They promote their company, do really well, make some great money and then things CHANGE…

The company changes the comp plan, or the company goes broke…

…and that’s it!

They have NOTHING to show for it…

So you must BRAND YOURSELF first…

You must promote YOU first…

Then you can plugin ANY business you want to on the back end…

This is also the FASTEST way to earning multiple streams of income!

Common Mistake #5 – Not Building a List!

I hinted at it in the last mistake…

The BIGGER your list and the better your RELATIONSHIP with that list, the more money you will make…

On average each lead on your list is worth $1 per month to you…

So, you have:

100 people = $100 per month
1,000 people = $1,000 per month
10,000 people = $10,000 per month
100,000 = $100,000 per month

If you have 100 people on your list, then you can expect to be earning about $100 per month as long as you have a relationship with your list and are offering value…

Now, using a few NINJA techniques that I’m going to share with you on Wednesday… you can easily 5X this amount…

So, when you do it right, the same 100 people on your list could be worth $500 per month to you…

Income Stream #3. Affiliate Product Income

This income stream is AWESOME!

One of the first things you need to do when starting an online business is to BUILD YOUR LIST and FAN BASE…

Once you’ve got a list of people and a raving fan base of prospects who follow you and know, like and trust you… you get to know what they want and need.

…and when you know what they want and need, you can find other peoples products and services to recommend to them, in exchange for commissions!

So, let’s say you want to make an extra $2000 for your holiday or vacation this year…

All you’d do is find a GOOD QUALITY affiliate product, do a review on it, write a few emails and send it out to your list…

In the Gambling Industry many years ago I built a list of 40,000 people… and ONE email to that list would earn $10,000 or more in affiliate income…

This industry is slightly different because it requires more of a HIGH TOUCH… meaning you’ve got to build more of a personal relationship with people first…

1 5 Different Income Streams You Should Focus On…

The great thing with affiliate marketing is that you DO NOT need to create the products yourself… you just leverage somebody else’s efforts

Just like LICENSING products (which we talked about for the HIGH TICKET income and MOBE)

You can also use affiliate marketing to help build your list…

You use PAID TRAFFIC (like Facebook Ads)

You create a Capture Page, and on the thank you page you monetise it by putting a link to a targeted affiliate product.

You make a few sales of the affiliate product which then pays for your advertising…

So, let’s say you spend $100 on Facebook Ads

You generate 50 leads

You make 2 sales of an affiliate product which pays you $50 per sale…

You just spent $100 on Ads. You earned $100 in commissions and you got 50 leads for FREE…

Nice…

Income Stream #4. Monthly Continuity Income

I LOVE this one too…

Basically you either create a Membership site yourself and create massive value, then charge a Monthly Membership for people to use the site…

Then you just send TRAFFIC to one of the many MLSP Campaigns, generate leads and earn a monthly income…

Depending on which level you are in MLSP at, you can earn either $15 per month or $100 per month per member… and of course at the higher levels you make much more money…

Think about it… all you do is send 10-20 members to the website, which offers massive value… and earn $100 per month per member…

* You can leverage affiliates to send you massive traffic

* Create an AUTOMATED income stream

* You get CUSTOMERS on your list, who are serious and much more likely to join your Network Marketing team!

Creating your own info product is EASIER than you think…

I just finished creating a $7 product in 24 hours…

Really?

Yes, that is what they teach…

…and it is the same LIE I was sold when I first came onto the Internet…

So, you have probably been trying to build your Network Marketing Business using Model 1 without ever having to build up a relationship.

What is Model 1?

Model 1 – The Internet Marketing Model

You can make a ton of money on the Internet using the Internet Marketing Model, but it is a dying model… and is not working anywhere near as good as it used to be…

Basically, with the Internet Marketing Model you PAY for traffic… send it to a Capture Page to Capture your prospects email address and then send them through a funnel and a small percentage of those people will buy.

If you are lucky you will break even…

So, then you need to create more and more products to make profit…

This model still works very well.. and there are some high level strategies you can use to make a LOT of MONEY, such as selling HIGH TICKET products on the back end (Products of over $500 in commissions.)

Here’s the PROBLEM.

If you try to build your Network Marketing Business using ONLY Model 1 – Internet Marketing… you will NEVER make it work…

I promise you.

I’ve tried it many times.

Yes, there are a few Network Marketing opportunities you can use Model 1 to build… but not many.

…and YES there are a few people who CAN make it work using only Model 1… but not many…

Why doesn’t it work?

The CLUE is in the Name…

Network Marketing!

The business is built by NETWORKING… person to person contact.

…and when you know this, then you have an UNFAIR advantage over everybody else…

So, here’s Model 2

Model 2 – The Network Marketing Model

Make a list of your family and friends… and go speak to them to share the plan…

Why?

Well, because these are the people who trust you the most… right?

So, Network Marketing is a Know, Like and Trust business…

The more somebody knows, likes and trusts you… the more likely they are to join your team…

Now… most people HATE speaking to their friends and family and it is one of the BIGGEST reasons most people give up in Network Marketing…

…and if you ever make it past speaking to your friends and family… you run out of LEADS and people to speak to…

Right?

What happens when your warm market has run out?

So, if you’re trying to build a Network Marketing Business (where people need to know, like and trust you to join your business…) and you’re trying to use the Internet Marketing Model… you are DOOMED to FAIL…

Because people WILL NOT join your Network Marketing Business until you’ve spoken to them and have a bit of a relationship with them… (usually)

So HOW do you do it? How can you use the Internet to build your Network Marketing business…

Introducing…

The NEW Model…

This is the Model I have put together based on my 15 years Network Marketing experience… AND 11 years Internet Marketing experience…

Model 3 – The Hybrid Funnel System

Now this is where things get very EXCITING indeed…

Let’s say that you somehow work out how to generate LEADS from Facebook, or Instagram, or Pinterest… or somewhere…

…those leads go onto your email list…

(Pay Attention and I’ll show you how to generate those leads…)

You’ve got an email sequence you’ve written which goes out automatically to your leads…

Only PROBLEM is that NOBODY is opening your emails… therefore, nobody is clicking the link in your emails and nobody is joining your business or buying your products…

So, yes it’s important for you to build your email list… because some people will open your emails…

…and you NEED an email list to communicate with your CORE followers and fans…

They also go into your Social Relationship Manager…

3 Ways To Boost Affiliate Commissions Overnight

The ideal world of affiliate marketing does not require having your own website, dealing with customers, refunds, product development and maintenance. This is one of the easiest ways of launching into an online business and earning more profits.

Assuming you are already into an affiliate program, what would be the next thing you would want to do? Double, or even triple, your commissions, right? How do you do that?

Here are some powerful tips on how to boost your affiliate program commissions overnight.

1. Know the best program and products to promote. Obviously, you would want to promote a program that will enable you to achieve the greatest profits in the shortest possible time.

There are several factors to consider in selecting such a program. Choose the ones that have a generous commission structure. Have products that fit in with your target audience. And that has a solid track record of paying their affiliate easily and on time. If you cannot seem to increase your investments, dump that program and keep looking for better ones.

There are thousands of affiliate programs online which gives you the reason to be picky. You may want to select the best to avoid losing your advertising dollars.

Write free reports or short ebooks to distribute from your site. There is a great possibility that you are competing with other affiliates that are promoting the same program. If you start writing short a report related to the product you are promoting, you will be able to distinguish yourself from the other affiliates.

In the reports, provide some valuable information for free. If possible, add some recommendations about the products. With ebooks, you get credibility. Customers will see that in you and they will be enticed to try out what you are offering.

2. Collect and save the email addresses of those who download your free ebooks. It is a known fact that people do not make a purchase on the first solicitation. You may want to send out your message more than six times to make a sale.

This is the simple reason why you should collect the contact information of those who downloaded your reports and ebooks. You can make follow-ups on these contacts to remind them to make a purchase from you.

Get the contact information of a prospect before sending them to the vendor’s website. Keep in mind that you are providing a free advertisement for the product owners. You get paid only when you make a sale. If you send prospects directly to the vendors, chances are they would be lost to you forever.

But when you get their names, you can always send other marketing messages to them to be able to earn an ongoing commission instead of a one-time sale only.

Publish an online newsletter or Ezine. It is always best to recommend a product to someone you know than to sell to a stranger. This is the purpose behind publishing your own newsletter. This also allows you to develop a relationship based on trust with your subscribers.

This strategy is a delicate balance between providing useful information with a sales pitch. If you continue to write informative editorials you will be able to build a sense of reciprocity in your readers that may lead them to support you by buying your products.

3. Ask for higher than normal commission from merchants. If you are already successful with a particular promotion, you should try and approach the merchant and negotiate a percentage commission for your sales.

If the merchant is smart, he or she will likely grant your request rather than lose a valuable asset in you. Keep in mind that you are a zero-risk investment to your merchant; so do not be shy about requesting for addition in your commissions. Just try to be reasonable about it.

Write strong pay Per Click ads. PPC search engine is the most effective means of advertising online. As an affiliate, you can make a small income just by managing PPC campaigns such as Google AdWords and Overture. Then you should try and monitor them to see which ads are more effective and which ones to dispose of.

Try out these strategies and see the difference it can make to your commission cheques in the shortest of time.

Social Media and Trade Shows – Weird Combo that Works

The reason why this combination of social media and trade show may be seen as weird is that you are combining two very, very different brand promotion techniques from two very, very different eras of business. However, if you start thinking about this combination with a more open mind, it becomes obvious that it is something that has to work. And it does. If done properly, social media support for your trade show efforts will have people flocking to your booth and talking about you incessantly. Which is the point of it all, really.

So, how do you do it?

Prior to the show

If you think to start using social media once the show has begun, it is already too late. The very moment you decide to exhibit and get a booth number, it is time to start letting people know you will be there. One Tweet a day, or every two days in perfectly enough. One word of warning, though, make sure that you are using the correct, official hashtag of the event.

You can also make a short video about your upcoming trade show exhibit and upload it on YouTube and your website. It does not have to be anything too fancy or elaborate. A short vid that you can make with your phone will be perfectly enough. If you plan on unveiling a new product or service, make a teaser vid that will get people extra interested in it.

During the show

Once the show begins, there are plenty more things that you can do. For instance, you can have a member of your trade show team film the booth and taking photos. You can then upload those pics and videos on social networks, letting people know what they are missing. If the exhibition stand you are using features video displays, you can play these videos and pics on them.

If you happen to be speaking at said trade show, you can always have someone film your speech and then edit short excerpts that you can share with your followers and friends on social networks.

Of course, you will be Tweeting all through the trade show, letting people know where you are and what they can find if they visit your booth. Also, if you decide to organize some events or contests at your booth, make sure you spread the word about them on social media.

Once it’s over

You will also want to use social media to follow up on your trade show experience of the last few days. For one, it is time for you to upload all of the best photos and videos that you made during the show. Ask people to tag themselves in the photos. Put your video editing skills to good use and make a video that will show off your experience in full.

You can also organize a little Q&A session with the people who visited your booth during the show and who might have questions that they forgot to ask while visiting. In addition to this, you can put together all of the most commonly asked questions from the visitors and do a blog post answering them.

It is more likely than not that you have made plenty of new collections during the trade show, whether with customers/clients, potential partners, suppliers or even competitors. Find them on LinkedIn and start connecting that way as well.   

Ask people what they thought about your booth, your brand and the entire experience. Social media is meant to help you connect with people. Take advantage of this.
