Do you want to have a successful and profitable business?

Nothing happens without a lead. No sales, no revenue, no profit, nothing.

Below are 10 ways to generate MORE leads without spending a bundle.

 

1. Know Your Audience. In order to engage with potential customers through content marketing, it is important to first know who they are, what they want and what they value. This starts with market research. Identify the customer segment and find out the types of websites they frequent. These websites provide an initial list of publisher prospects for the content.

 

2. Include Images. Part of the goal of producing and promoting great content is to influence customers and prospects to share your content with their online communities. Use large, engaging images within your content so that when it is shared via social media, the summary that is visible to other users will include a thumbnail. This will draw more attention to it and garner higher click-through rates. Don’t forget to properly tag your images so that they, too, show up in search rankings and improve the authority of your brand’s content.

 

3. Curate Content. Regurgitated information from another source is not likely to draw much attention from your target audience. Your content should offer a fresh perspective and draw from multiple sources. Curate content from a variety of trusted sources in order to provide readers with a new perspective or insight they may not have already seen.

 

4. Promote. Use multiple channels to promote your content. Leverage your current marketing channels, including email, social media, public relations, display advertising, etc., to inform your customers and prospects about new content resources.

 

5. Reference Industry Influencers. When discussing a specific topic within your content marketing piece, it can be helpful to reference and cite individuals who are known to the audience and have authority on the topic. People love to see their own names published and will likely promote the content on their own for free, thus further spreading the exposure and influence of your brand and its expertise.

 

6. Leverage Mark-up and Tagging Opportunities. In addition to content promotion, page features can be used to help consumers more easily find your content. For example, using targeted keywords in title tags, meta tags and image alt tags can help the content show up in search. Similarly, rich snippets such as the rel=“author” tag can give credit to the author where applicable and leverage that author’s authority.

 

7. Stand for Something. Don’t just tell people what your company does; articulate why you do it. By demonstrating the value your products or services will have on consumers’ lives they will be much likelier to engage.

 

8. Be Transparent. Earn your audience’s trust by providing them factual, well-researched information. If consumers feel your brand has something to hide, they will be much less likely to engage with or share its content.

 

9. Follow Up. To ensure and maintain engagement of your content, it is important to influence readers to keep the conversation going. Answer any questions consumers have in a comments section (if applicable) and within the various social networks. Allow your customers and prospects to add to the wealth of knowledge you are sharing with your industry.

 

10. Measure Success. There is a great deal of learning that comes out of a content marketing campaign that can be used for future campaigns, both for content marketing and other channels. Track key performance indicators such as visits, conversions, inbound links, leads generated and social shares generated by each content piece to understand the type of content that performs best. Use those metrics to inform the type of content you create in the future and how, where and when you promote it.

Sales Selling Techniques #1 – Become the Hunted Not the Hunter

This is number 1 in the list of sales selling techniques.

Communicate through stories, pictures and metaphors and create the desire to make people want to work with you.

Cold calling is dead.

Have you ever spent all day walking around knocking on doors hoping to find someone who is interested in your product or service? (I know I have)

We’re in the information age.

Things work a little differently now.

People are searching for the things they are looking for. Usually online.

They don’t want to have someone knock on their door and listen to someone try and sell them something.

So to sum it up. If you have something that people are looking for and you can get enough people in front of your website or blog. People will buy. People will search you out and want to buy from you.

Sales Selling Techniques #2 – Use the Power of Influence and Persuasion

The second in a series of sales selling techniques.

Your past has nothing to do with your future.

Every moment is a chance to turn it all around.

You can do this through the power of influence and persuasion.

You need to present business ideas and presentations in a way that makes prospects say, “I want to be a part of this. Here, take my credit card! Please let me be one of the 10 people to work with you.”

The best way to influence and persuade someone is through a story.

When you share a story with someone, an experience you had or a lesson your learned, you can connect with people on a more personal, emotional, level.

If you can tell a story when you talk or in your presentations you’ll be like a wizard with a magical hat and you’ll be able to extract 10k out of thin air like you have magical powers.

Think of a time when you felt powerful when you spoke with authority and presence and when you felt you were a great speaker. How did your voice sound. What was going through your mind? At one point in your life or at many moments you have been an absolute 5 star hypnotic communicator. Anyone can learn to do this.

 

Sales Selling Techniques #3 – How to Present Hypnotically

Tip number three in sales selling techniques.

How to present hypnotically:

1. Get their attention. Imagine you walk out on stage and say, “what do you do when your dream dies?” A statement like this makes people stop and focus on you.

2. Create repoire. Responsiveness with another human being. Tell a story and use social proof. Share your story. People will think,“He was in pain now he’s at the top. If he can do it so can I.” This is the most powerful way to build repoire.

3. Only then can you sell. Say, “I started applying the things in this video and now I’ve gone from step a to step b and it was done by applying the information in this video.”

Sales Selling Techniques #4 – Present in a Way That Makes Them Want to Say Yes!

Last but not least. Add this to your arsenal of sales selling techniques!

You can’t get someone to do something against their will.

You have to help people get something they already want.

Find the people that want what you’re offering and present to them in a way that makes them want to say yes!

“Don’t imagine putting your feet in hot sand and looking over the ocean”

What does your mind do? your mind will automatically think about doing just that.

You can’t resist not visualizing something.

Use phrases such as:

“Aren’t you sick and tired of not having all the money that you ever wanted in your life?”

“Aren’t you done with not having an abundant life where the universe is depositing money into your bank account and you feel fulfilled?”

Sales selling techniques

Don’t create resistance when you’re describing something using lousy language.

“I’m going to tell you about the hottest newest thing ever with company name” – That doesn’t work because people are turned off to selling.

Usually when doing a presentation people say “it’s about this company” or “it’s about that system. if you say the name of your company people will just search Wikipedia and Google for it and will be searching all over and not be paying attention to your p presentation

The best way – don’t give out the company name.  Say something like, “free video presentation about how this economically ruined man is making 50k a month with this proven money making formula system.”

People can’t search Google for that so they will stay watching your presentation!
