Hello Everyone! Been away, haven't seen you for awhile. How've you been? Penelope and I moved out to Canada's east coast last March. We're now homesteading on our little slice of the Garden of Eden here in the Upper St. John River Valley in western New Brunswick, Canada. What a change! In the days that come, I hope to be sharing our experience and, who knows, maybe some of you might be interested in the lifestyle!
Now, I'm not talking about being 'off the grid'. We are on a well and a septic and we have electricity but, that said, we are moving toward food self-sufficiency and we think that goal is attainable. We have build three 'hugelkultur' raised gardens in prep for next season's planting after a good harvest from our postage stamp, conventional garden that we dug when we first got here. I'm looking forward to sharing our adventures with you!
