I’ve been a salesperson for a very long time marketing employee group benefits for various companies from insurance to “Software as a Service” products to legal service plans. Because of my experience, I feel that there’s not much I can’t sell, but “benefits marketing” as I call it has been my niche over the years. You have to have a different mentality to market to companies and employees because it’s not about selling lotions, potions, soaps, or anything else you can buy at Costco, Wal-Mart, or anywhere else. This is a career you have to have compassion for because you are helping to protect families and their lives. You are making a living while making a difference.  

I own a specialized benefits firm and have the option of deciding what services my associates sell. LegalShield,, and Kroll Advisory Solutions have been the service partners of GLG and Associates LLP (GLG) for almost 10-years now and we recently added AmeriDoc, a nationwide telemedicine physician’s service that has employee group benefit plans and plans for families and individuals in all 50 states as well as the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. If you enjoy sales and haven’t thought of benefits marketing in the past, you may want to think about it again. Someone one told me that “if you can find a void and fill it, you can become wealthy.” I am excited for my company as well as the industry and look forward to continuing build relationships across North America protecting families and companies. There’s no better way to be in business than doing what you enjoy by making a difference to help change other people’s lives!
