GREAT NEWS!! Mary is making INCREDIBLE progress...walking & food shopping (we walked 6 blocks the other day), cooking (she threw me out of the kitchen...lol), sorting laundry, cleaning the apartment, and all the basics of living only 10 days after being released from NY Presbyterian and 20 days after her brain surgery. Her recuperative powers are absolutely amazing...so much so that we cancelled the visiting nurse service and the physical therapist, as she's doing all of the things necessary herself. The only things still on the mend are her hearing on the right side of her head, which is normal, getting better, and will be restored after about 6 weeks), occasional headaches & dizziness (obviously to be expected), fatigue, and her stamina which we're working on daily. The hardest thing for me to do is to make sure that she doesn't do too much...racehorses have to run...it's in their DNA, and Mary is a record-breaking thorougbred used to running free. I'm becoming a Mary Whisperer...lol
Our heartfelt thanks go out to all of the people sending positive healing energies, thoughts, and prayers to us during Mary's incredible ordeal...and for the medical team's amazing skill and diligence. I'm absolutely sure that your positivity affected the outcome of events...she's out of the woods and on the mend. Our gratitude is endless...<3 <3

Thank you, Merle...and I'm wearing my heavy "don't overdue" boots as we speak...:)
Brilliant news Bob, thanks for sharing your update and wish Mary a full and speedy recovery. Put your foot down if she starts over doing things.
God is definitely awesome. Praise and glory to his holy name. Amen. Thank you Bob for the update on your wife. Let her recovery continue to progress favorably. Sharing so more will know God's love for us and his healing power and love of life.
