Hi Friends,
I had an unusual growth on my right ear, and the biopsy showed it was malignant.
On Wednesday, October 22, the surgeon removed it and took skin from my collar bone area to graft to the hole there.
With one snip (2 cm) by my surgeon, the malignant growth is
all gone.
The stitches were removed two days ago on the 29th, and I am using an antibiotic ointment for seven days to prevent infection.
Blue-eyed, fair skinned people are more susceptible
to skin cancers than others. There is a 50/50 chance I will have more of these. I will see my dermatologist every six months from now on.

Skin cancer is frightening Sandra. Many people think it a "lesser" cancer, but as you know, it is not. I am so glad you discovered it early and had it removed. Both my parents had growths removed, so I watch my own skin carefully as well. It appears that you are very aware and will be watching your skin carefully (don't forget places like between your toes).
Hi Sandra,
Glad you got the growth taken care of before it could cause you no more trouble than it did.
Glad to hear that you caught it early and that all is good now with you. I only said to my husband this morning that I feel as if I need an MOT !!
Sandra glad to hear that your surgery went okay. Just keep trusting and believing in God and everything will be okay. Shared via Syndication Automation.
