Giving The Gift of Love

Not everyone who loves animals can have or afford one. This is a wonderful invention for those people who want to feel the love and companionship of a pet. My Grandmother was one of the biggest animal lovers I know especially for her cats. A few years back she got very sick and was admitted to the hospital. It broke her heart to leave her animals behind.

  • Love it Michelle. I am a big animal lover. I cry for days if I lose one of mine. Thanks for sharing.
  • Oh Terri, I'm so sorry for your loss, I know that feeling all to well. My dog of 14 years passed away almost a year ago.  Out of nowhere he started having seizures and couldn't pull out of them.  I honestly think you never really get over missing them.  I still have my Leigon they were raised together but it doesn't help me miss my Flash any less.  He was also so smart and loving, a true companion. I wish you the best with your new friend.

Very nice blog post about your grandmother and her love of cats. My sister was a cat lover. I am dog lover and was very sad when my dog that I loved very much had to be put to sleep because he was allergic to fleas. Poor little thing was scratch constantly, I was so sad on that day and I had a feeling he knew he wouldn't see me again. I haven't gotten another dog since then. I miss my dog, he was so smart. Thank you for sharing your blog post with us Michelle. Welcome to the SE community.
