I've been a fan of The Philadelphia Eagles for the last two years... In this blog post, I will not demean Patrick Mahomes & The Kansas City Chiefs at the highest point in their exceptional standing... I will instead give credit & raise the stature of Jalen Hurts, Nick Siriani & The Philadelphia Eagles my deepest respect for fulfilling a mission no one thought they could accomplish at the beginning of the season... This was a game where it was difficult to watch either team lose because of the obvious amount of effort & talent each team had invested in it...
The Eagles lost their Offensive & Defensive Coordinators this week because they each earned their way up to becoming head coaches... I'm a firm believer in no one is irreplaceable... The Eagles have a good reputation for hiring capable people to fill the positions when they become available... I feel confident that they will have no problem hiring people who will be compatible with Coach Siriani, Quarterback Jalen Hurts & the rest of the team... I'm certain they have learned many of their strengths & weaknesses from these two who are no longer there & now they will improve upon them... From the determination, this team has displayed I learned the dream will never die until it is fulfilled... I'm proud of The Eagles & all their fans... I will be an Eagles fan for life! :D
Though I've never had the pleasure of visiting The City Of Brotherly Love, that is number one on my bucket list of things I'd like to do in my future... I learned about it from a dear friend of mine who was born & raised in Chester almost 100 years ago... :D What I didn't learn from him I did my own research & wound up loving that city... It has so much to offer that I enjoy... I love black music & got hung up on Soul Train & the music of Gamble & Huff... I was raised in an all-white community where the kind of music I loved just wasn't available... I also found The Mummers who I had loved since I first discovered them on black & white TV... Later in my life, they inspired me to become a self-taught award-winning parade clown... I have never seen any of this in person... I have developed a genuine love for Philly & all it has to offer... I would also enjoy an authentic Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich... :D
Notice The Mummers have a good time even when they're just practicing!!! I love the music & the strut... There are about 16 groups & each has their own venue... Check them out on Youtube for their magnificent costumes... They shine in the New Year's Day Parade where all the bands compete for the right of where they place numerically for the next year... All of Philly turns out for these parades they're such a good time... I love The Mummers!!! :D

Philly is a neat place, you will love it. There are plenty of things to see and there is a lot of brotherly love, so you will feel welcome and right at home. Thanks, Linda.
Thank you for your comment, George... This will help to give me the incentive to get in shape for a trip like that... I'm tired of saying someday... I will work on setting a target date so I'll see how much closer I'm getting to reaching my goal with each passing day... :D
