Hi All,
George Pierce, here. Above is a snapshot of a thumbnail for a video that is being uploaded to YT for a new channel as I make this post.
The video is the 8th most popular Lucy Show on YT (based on my niche research) and has a potential of 1M views.
There is an obstacle, however, it has a lot of competition, so how can I compete?
Whether it is a thumbnail or a title, it needs to grab attention and it needs to stand out.
But I also need to stay close to the TRUTH.
Lucy really does clobber John Wayne.
Above are two examples of what I am up against.
The goal is to get people to click on my video instead of my competitors' videos.
The way to make that happen is to be different, to stand out, and to grab attention.

Exactly George and you outlined your point clearly. It's so simple. That's why I always tell people I mentor to "Keep It Super Simple" (K.I.S.S.) applies here when you need an answer to an important question. That's what you did, answered a question.
Thanks, Terri. For newbies, emulating what works, is important, but adding your own flavor helps you to stand out. If I go to far, my stats will let me know. When that happens and it does happen, I can tweak or dial things back a little.
