If it wasn't for me, this business wouldn’t be successful.

I'm not saying this to be conceited… I'm saying this because online businesses and home-based businesses are all about the people who own them and run them. The sad fact is that most of these types of businesses aren't actually run like businesses. Instead people jumping to them and think of the more like hobbies.

Can you imagine treating a business like a hobby? What if your local convenience store owner decided to unlock the front door, but not actually show up for work. You know, he just owns the business… But he doesn't bother working the business.

Well that's the type of epidemic we see all over the web when it comes to online businesses.. It's what I call the human factor… And it's what's responsible for such a high failure rate - people start businesses casually, and then don't bother to actually run them like real businesses. And it's a damn shame, because the reality is that many online businesses are built for their efficiency and ability to allow the business owner to succeed while putting in just a fraction of the effort that most off-line businesses require.

And yet, they don't seem to even do that.

That's why I focus on attracting serious people to join my business. My marketing efforts all focus on educating people about what they're getting into, rather than the typical “hey you… click this button and you'll have $100,000 in your bank account tomorrow” kind of offers out there.

No notice I said “real work”… Not “hard work.” What we teach is simple, systematic, and easily applicable if people actually just take the time to do the work.

Sorry for the rant today but I'm just getting inundated with so many people unwilling to do the work… but willing to invest lots of time complaining about how they're not succeeding.

My answer? I told them that that video that they were supposed to watch when they first got started with the business… You know, the one they never watched… well, get this, they should watch that video. And then, and this is where the secret magic happens, they should do the things they learned in the video in order to start seeing success.

I guess that's just the kind of guy I am. I want to work with people who are willing to do the work. Not hard work, But work.
