Instantly Make Yourself More Persuasive

Different people learn different ways, and they often give responses that indicate what type of learner they are.

An auditory learner might say "That sounds pretty good," or "I hear what you're saying".

visual learner might say "I see what you mean," or "The way I see it...".

Finally, a kinesthetic learner (learns by doing) might say "I can't quite put my finger on it".

If you want to improve your communication with every person you speak with, listen for these types of cues and discuss information in a way that matches their suggested learning style.

Using this exercise can help you to improve your listening skills, communication, and overall persuasiveness!

  • Thanks Terri!

  • Hmmm!  This is really interesting, Timothy.  I have heard  people say this and never really zeroed in on the fact that they were tipping me off to how they would need me to present to them.  Thanks for sharing this.
