Leadership—Flex Your Purpose Not Power

 So, you have made it this far and you are on your way to becoming the top player of your game.  It does not matter if you are an internet marketing beginner on your way to becoming an internet marketing “guru” or an operations manager or a Fortune 500 company and aspiring to the position of Senior VP, it will never be too soon to learn the art of knowing how to lead.

I believe that whatever you choose to do in life, the ability to take charge lies within you.  You have to decide if you are going to be a leader or a follower.  I made a choice in my life years ago to be a great follower.  That did not work for me because there were times when the people I chose to follow flexed their power which changed the directions of my becoming successful.  I had to stop the ship, if you will, and set sail on a different path and decided to learn the art of leading instead of being a follower.

If you think about it, leadership has nothing to do with a job title.  There are those people who were born to lead.  We all know a few.  They have CEO written all over them.
