Think about that statement for a minute, then watch this short video... I like to follow people who are smarter than me because then I always learn something new...
Last year I experienced a major wake-up call in my life... I started the year with several health issues that had the potential to become very serious... One of the symptoms was, I had lost my ability to walk... I was fortunate to have been provided with the best, though not the most notable, doctors that had the experience needed to treat my symptoms... I chose to apply all I had learned over the years about sustaining & being able to maintain good health in my life... I used lessons that I learned long ago & some that are more recent... I also learned the importance of having an open mind to accept these new solutions...
I learned the value of true friendship from my friend, GTO... We met online 16 years ago but have never been able to meet in person... He was there for me through it all after my husband passed away in 2010... He helped me change my outlook by using my love of music & his warm sense of humor... He did this from 3200 miles away because he lives in Northern California & I'm on the Gulf Coast of Florida... I am so fortunate that God put him in my life... He's 84, I'm 83... His birthday is Dec. 1st, mine is Dec. 6th... We realize how fortunate we are to have someone who really cares, even though we're so many miles away... I thank God for the internet... It truly brings people together...
Since I have so many acquaintances born in December I'd like to pay tribute to them by posting this musical video by a member of Fourplay, the late, Chuck Loeb, who has passed away... I figure God must have the same musical taste as myself because he keeps calling my favorite musicians, vocalists & composers home... When it's my turn I think I will be greeted by all & I will be celebrating my homecoming with such a spiritual welcome that it will be more beautiful than anything I have ever heard here on earth...

Thank you, George, for taking the time to let me know that you liked my post... That means a lot to me... I don't think I'd ever heard this version... I like it because it seems like a softer version but with the same meaning...
The title came because of some obstacles I've had lately, computer issues but I'm learning how to work through them & storing the solutions in my memory bank... :D
I enjoyed Gladys's version very much, thank you, Linda. Your title is perfect.
Thank you Linda Michel White for sharing your blog post with the video by Gladys Knight and the Pips. I love all her songs and this particular song is one of my favorite. The lyrics are so full of meaning. I haven't seen you in the SE community lately, and now I know why. You were working on this awesome blog post.
Thank you, Terri, once again for your encouraging words... As I told, George, I've been having some computer issues teaching me acceptance & patience... I think I have it figured out now in my mind... Now we'll see how good my retention is... I really liked the video of Albert Einstein... I can relate to much of his message ...
