Saturday Night Live started in 1975. It was wild and funny and shocking, too.
Popular programs in 1975 included The Wonderful World of Disney, The Carol Burnett Show. Soul Train, McMillan & Wife, Little House on the Prairie, Happy Days.
It was a very different time!
Two actors that broke my heart because of their wild lives and early deaths were John Belushi (1949-1982) and Chris Farley (1964-1997).

We never saw that in the UK but did get most of the programmes you mentioned above and I used to love little house on the prairie, I am right at this moment watching a movie with the Melissa Gilbert from that series. Thanks for sharing. Loved those days back then.
I was a fan of Saturday Night Live too. On occasion I can catch a rerun of the old shows with the regulars back in the day. Those were rocking great days. Syndication Automation all the way and posted on Syndication Express business page on Google.
