“In times of plenty, Owls may store surplus food in a cache. This may be in the nest, or tree hole, or a fork in a branch. In extremely cold climates the cached food may become frozen, and species such as the Saw-whet and Boreal owl will sit on the cached prey item in order to thaw it out before eating it.”
Are you being like an owl and storing your information for when the time is ready to approach one of your prospects. We have seen it all too many times where someone is being like a cat and just pounces on you with all their opportunities. That is not the way to go. You have to get to know someone first and build a good relationship with them before even thinking about pushing your opportunity at them. You have to get them to know, like and trust you first and once you have achieved that factor then is the time to ask if you can help them in any way and what they may be struggling with.
The owl above is Charlie and if you would like to make a donation to keep the Folkestone Owl Rescue running please visit the site ====>>>> HERE
“Cats are carnivores and are highly specialized for hunting. Their style of hunting uses short bursts of intense exercise punctuating long periods of rest. Much like their big cat relatives, domestic and feral cats are very effective predators. Domestic felines ambush or pounce upon and immobilize vertebrate prey using tactics similar to those of leopards and tigers. Having overpowered such prey, a cat delivers a lethal neck bite with its long canine teeth that either severs the prey’s spinal cord, causes fatal bleeding by puncturing the carotid artery or the jugular vein, or asphyxiates the prey by crushing its trachea.”

The owls are beautiful! My sister is a volunteer at two animal preserves, one that is mostly cats - BIG cats! I'm sure you are there because you love it, but it is wonderful that you're helping to save some of them.
