I am George Pierce. This post is about a marketing secret that I discovered many years ago.
It was long before the Internet, but IMHO, it is so simple and perfect that it works just about
anywhere you want to apply it. It truly works perfectly online as you will see.
The secret is this ten-word marketing gem:
"Find out what people want, then give it to them."
Why this is so perfect on the Internet is that you can literally 'FIND OUT WHAT PEOPLE WANT' in a matter of minutes
and then you can find a supplier or affiliate in just a few more minutes.
Above is an example of this marketing strategy in action. Although this channel is still new.
YT is beginning to give its videos more exposure.
Each video is researched BEFORE taking any kind of action.
The research is basic niche research which determines the demand, the competition, and keyword strength.
On the Internet, there are free research tools such as Ubersuggest and TubeBuddy which will do all the work and all the
research before you start.
What the above snapshot tells us is that viewers like this video, we can tell by the ICTR and the view duration. A 6% ICTR is good, the video is almost 8.
A view duration over 7 minutes is a good sign. The video is too new for further analytics, but the way that YTs algorithm
works is that when people watch your video and continue to watch, this sends a signal to YT that people LIKE it,
and that people want to watch it! When that happens, YT gives your video more exposure and as long as people continue to
want to watch, the algorithm continues to give your video more and more exposure...this is how videos can go viral.
Above is a sample of a couple of keyword phrases that scored excellent. The key is that this research is done BEFORE
you start. There is no guesswork. With today's tools such as TubeBuddy (a free chrome extension), you can find out exactly
what people want and then you give it to them.
