Being new can be stressful, no matter how old you are!

Even as a hardened professional, at LEAST a small part of us will always want to be liked and accepted.

I have been involved in social media and social networking just about forever!  LOL

I have learned great things, and some horrible things along the way.

1.  Not every community is right for you.

    

If people are not welcoming to you, it may be something that you just can't control.  There are plenty of groups and subgroups out there.  Step back and try another one.
