Happy Easter! I have a little Easter reward for you, later. First, a brief bit of training.
Holidays and days that are not holidays can help you to make money. Days that are not holidays?
Think of it as having a reason for...the email. the phone call, the sale, the promotion, etc.
When you have a 'reason', your recipient becomes more receptive and their perceived value goes up.
In other words, people are more likely to take the action that you want them to take, such as listen to your call or open your email.
This leads to them being more likely to agree to set an appointment or a clickthrough.
What you see above, is only the tip of the iceberg. What it means is that holidays and non-holidays can arm us with
reason after reason to contact our prospects.
I was taught to 'always have a reason' for contacting prospects. When we do not have a reason, other than trying to sell something, our calls and emails are perceived as nothing more than SPAM. And, when you think about it, they are!
When we follow up, as we should, without a 'reason', we are not opening doors and creating opportunities, we are, in fact, reducing our chances.
When we have a reason such as Easter or Zoo Lover's Day or Golfer's Day, etc., it is a simple trigger that will improve response.
My 'reason' for this post is to wish you and yours a Happy Easter.
