Hi Everyone! I am George Pierce. I have about 20 years of experience online. In this post, I will be sharing one of the strategies that I am using to speed up channel growth on YouTube along with proof. Below is a snapshot from my latest online adventure which is to grow a YT channel without making a video and without spending money. I will share more about this process later, but first, allow me to share that a couple of weeks ago, I added a new strategy to my YT channel.
Not everything that I try online works, but my research and my online intuition helped me to decide to put this strategy in play. As you can see in the snapshot above, it is working!
The strategy is "COMPILATIONS". A couple of weeks ago, I mentioned in a Syndication Express post that viewers seemed to be more attracted to compilations, in other words, my research showed that compilations get more views, as well as more watch time and ultimately, more subscribers.
My channel is a vintage media channel, so a vintage music compilation or vintage commercial compilation are examples of what I have been trying.
There are other compilation videos that my videos will compete with, so I try to make my videos different.
One of my compilations was a vintage commercial compilation with all celebrities, for example. The above is different, in that there are over 25 commercials.
I share this because no one else seems to be teaching this and the idea of a compilation should benefit almost any channel.
With just a little ingenuity, you should be able to come up with a compilation video. Such as 6 ways to... lose weight, prepare a meal in minutes, make money, get a date, etc.
I talk about proof and the numbers above are validation, but the video above and the one below are also proof. I am doing what I share and then sharing the results of what I do.
(some of the songs in the above video have been blocked by YT, not by copyright but YT, technically they cannot do that, so I am working on getting this fixed)
The Coke commercial video took almost no time to create. The music video took about an hour, and that was my choice I want it to be different and hopefully better than the competition. So I turned it into a "Dance Party" and added a lot of dance videos to the music. The dance videos were all free from Mixkit.
Speaking of FREE. All the traffic is free organic traffic. I have spent $28.40 on a TubeBuddy upgrade to Pro, which is optional. I am spending about 11 hours a week on this. There is usually no video creation involved. If you want to follow what I am doing, a little bit of your time will be spent on research and then on sharing or promoting your videos for free for more exposure and more views. If you want to check out my video strategy, I invite you to click here.
I invite you to take a peek at the videos, so you can get an idea as to how easy this is and hopefully an idea as to how you can adapt this strategy for yourself.
The compilation strategy heps you to give viewers what they want, and can help you to set your channel apart.
Thank you for reading.
Much success,
George Pierce
PS. Use the word "Compilation" in your title, in your tags, and in your description.
PPS. With music compilation, it seems the longer the better.

Sounds like a great strategy George Pierce, I'm working on getting real good with your first strategy, among other things. I'm slowly getting there. I'm pretty busy each day. I appreciate you and all the information you share here in the SE community.
The hours watched are the lever that I am hoping is going to put my channel in YT's favor, it shows YT that viewers like the videos. Thank you, Terri.
