Hi All,
George Pierce, here. Plateaus can be frustrating and disappointing...but only if you let them. Plateaus are times when growth seems to stagnate. Plateaus occur in weight loss, and they also occur in business. What makes this frustrating is that they seem to happen for NO REASON...argghhh!
You are doing what you did before, nothing seems to have changed, but your business growth levels out and you do not know why. My longest business plateau was about three years. It did not seem to matter what I did, growth was not going to happen.
That is when I finally tried 'giving' as a way to do more 'getting'. Yeah, I started giving for all the wrong reasons. And it did not matter! HUH?
Giving has a way of bringing you around, you will soon start giving for the right reason, which is to give for the sake of giving with NO thought of remuneration. I share this because my latest online venture STALLED.
As you can see above, growth had hit a plateau. The channel is new, so this leveling off caught me a little by surprise.
I have a little saying "Do the best you can and that is the best you can do." The idea is to treat the business as a business. I have seen so many online businesses and YT channels, that are doing well, quit. In many cases, they hit a plateau and all of a sudden, it was the end of the world.
It is not, of course.
Instead of getting frustrated, get motivated to do the best you can and be sure to put as much emphasis as you can on giving.
Giving is the grease, the glue, and the lever that will make things happen.
Thanks for reading.
Much success,
George Pierce

George, this article is great motivation with proof, to never quit. You hit the nail on the head about plateaus I know everyone has to go through them. They really are the point when you decide to continue or stop. But it's also the place where you find new ideas and directions. It's so true about giving, it is a good feeling to give people something of value.
YT is still not a big fan of my new channel and that is normal for new channels, but I did just get a 10% boost in views (now 2.7K), thank you, Robin.
I see your Channel really growing George. Congratulations on your success. You not talk the talk, you walk the walk. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
