Hi Gals and Guys! I am George Pierce, I have about 20 years of online experience, and this post is an update about my Faceless Video strategy for making money on YouTube without making videos. I want you to be aware of the good and the bad. There is a tremendous amount of good, if you are following my SE posts, or using my strategy, you are already aware.
Let's not call what I am about to share as bad, let's say it is simply an obstacle that you might run into and one that I want you to be aware of.
Not every video is going to get published!
Part of my overall video process is to make sure that videos that I am considering uploading to YT are getting views, and also that those videos are going to get published.
Above is an example of a situation where there are many videos that are already on YT, in many cases for years, the longest that I found was 12 years. So, this should mean that YT will not have issues with the video.
Unfortunately, it does.
Not every video is going to get approved by YT.
Next is an example of a video that is Public Domain Mark 1.0
Public Domain means that there are NO copyright claims against this video.
As you can see, it is still rejected.
In YT's defense, there can be "other" copyright " issues, privacy issues, ownership issues, authorship issues, and so on. I am not a copyright expert, but I want you to understand that even though a video is Creative Commons or Public Domain, it still might get turned down by YT.
When this happens, and it will, do NOT blame YT. YT is doing its job and ultimately YT is protecting our backside.
Neither you nor I want to publish a video illegally, so, although a rejection might be deflating, please remember that YT is protecting themselves and us, as well.
Most of the time...
When a video is Public Domain or Creative Commons, it will get OK'd by YT.
When you see that a video has previously been OK'd by YT, it will get approved by YT.
A small amount of the time...
YT will say REJECTED.
They are just doing their job, so delete the video, forget about it, and continue on your path.
Thank you for reading.
Much Success,
George Pierce
