God Nudges to me are Divine Inspirations about how just one idea can change your business & your life!  As a lifetime entrepreneur, and the creator of several successful companies the “big idea question” always fascinated Mac Anderson. In fact, Mac’s inspiration for this video was based on one simple question… How do big ideas happen? Is there a process or a formula? Is it something that is teachable or repeatable, or do big ideas just “bubble up” when minds are curious and open to change?

Although every success story is different, sometimes just reading how it happened can “spark” your imagination into action. Sometimes just learning about an individual who was willing to take the risk to follow his or her dream and fight through adversity to keep it alive, might be just the “push” you need. This collection of “Big Idea Stories” was not only written with the entrepreneur in mind, but was also written to inspire innovation within existing companies. Far too often, companies “roll-on” with the status quo, only to wake up one day to find that competition has passed them by. Whether your ambition is to start your own company or you want to apply “Big Idea” thinking to your existing company — What’s the Big Idea? is sure to help spark many new ideas to make your big idea the next success story!

Over 100 years ago someone had the big idea to create an all male marching band consisting of musicians playing accordians & banjos...  The idea emigrated to America & has evolved to become The Philadelphia Mummers...  They have grown to 16 bands, all amateur musicians who compete every New Year's Day for top placement for the year...  Hard to believe with all that talent they are just amateurs with unique hobbies...

I'm forever grateful to Mac Anderson for the inspiration of Simple Truths for being one of the best sources I've found to either improve the path I'm on or make the necessary detours to get me to where I need to be to reach my goals...

I'm a firm believer in one is never too old to learn... I've recently progressed from mourning the loss of my friend, Tom Barabas to celebrating his very accomplished life and that made me feel better... He brought so much beauty and pleasure into so many lives with his music... You can find his music videos on youtube under Tom Barabas...

It's interesting to note the sheer simplicity of Mac's ten points listed in his video Linda, then realise that just doing that 'one drip at a time' is what will fill the well. As for ideas, I agree there too. Apparently 'silly' thoughts can hit you at odd times and yet taking any one of them and running with it can be exciting, productive and great fun. Yes, passion and enjoyment are what matters, throw in courage and have a ball! Thanks for the reminders - Well written!

Thank you, Tom, for your kind words...  They encourage me to continue on yhe path I have chosen...  I have been self educating in this computer age & have learned over these last 20 plus years from the things AA taught me in my recovery, that not only opened my eyes but opened my mind to new ideas to replace the old ideas that clearly weren't working for me in my life...  My education has been a culmination of the journey of my life experiences...   :D
