Story regarding A Random Act of Kindness:
There was a story by a man named Christopher Williams where he remembered when he was serving in the Marines in Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii! Upon receiving news that his father had just passed away, he rushed home. He said that the only decent thing that he had to wear to his father’s funeral was his dress blues, yet he needed a haircut as well.
Christopher needed a haircut and wanted to get a haircut before he boarded the plane, so he went to this barbershop in Mokapu Mall which was crowded. Desperate, he explained his situation to one of the barbers, who was a lady named Nhanh Pham. She immediately moved the Marine to be next in line and gave “special attention” to his haircut.
To Christopher’s surprise, when he tried to pay her, she told him the haircut was free. And not only that, she also gave him money which the other barbers in the shop had collected while he was getting a haircut and unaware of. They wanted to make sure Christopher could buy flowers for his father’s funeral.
Due to this amazingly kind gesture, the barbers were later presented a Certificate of Commendation from Christopher’s commanding Officers in the Marine Corps.

“Let us more and more insist on raising funds of love, of kindness, of understanding, of peace. Money will come if we seek first the Kingdom of God – the rest will be given.”–Mother Teresa
“Beginning today, treat everyone you meet as if they were going to be dead by midnight. Extend to them all the care, kindness and understanding you can muster, and do it with no thought of any reward. Your life will never be the same again.”–Og Mandino

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.”–Hebrews 10:24
