The Introvert Is Misunderstood
In the online world, everything is loud and boisterous.
That may throw off an introvert like myself.
Introverts in the digital marketing space can perhaps be made to feel inferior.
But even in the online space, there is room for introverts.
I think perhaps introverts are misunderstood.
Introverts are NOT anti-social.
Introverts just do better with less social interaction.
You can be successful as an introvert online.
And in this quick blog post, I hope to share with you some ways that you can find your place online.

3 Ways Introverts Can Make Money Online
Before we get into the ways that introverts can make money online, let me share a few thoughts.
Introverts mostly need 3 things (from my experience)...
- Quiet time to think freely and deeply
- Freedom from "the routine"
- Space to be creative and to express themselves.
I'm not a scientist, doctor, or anything.
But I feel like we introverts are better whenever we have a certain level of quiet and freedom.
Here are the 3 ways introverts can create online income.
CONTENT CREATION/DIGITAL PRODUCTS
Creating a digital product will allow you to monetize your expertise, experience, and knowledge.
Content creation allows you to do the same thing.
Pick a problem you want to solve (a niche).
Then create a blog, website, YouTube channel, or social media outlet dedicated to it.
You then can create a solution to that problem in the form of a video, audio, or written product.
Or you can even do some kind of coaching.
Blogging
Blogging is, in basic terms, mainly written content that allows you to focus on a particular topic.
This will give you the room that an introvert needs to focus and be creative.
You want to focus on giving people value instead of trying to just sell a product or service.
You can monetize a blog with ad space, your own personal digital products, or affiliate marketing.
PROVIDING A ONE-TO-ONE SERVICE
Some years ago, I was a math tutor at a local community college in my area.
Even though I am an introvert, I thrived during the one-on-one interactions with students.
It allowed for me to be myself without the pressures of having to be overly social.
Providing a service like tutoring is a good means to not only monetize your knowledge but also to build good relationships.
It doesn't necessarily have to be online tutoring, but can involve other services like plumbing, housecleaning, pressure washing, etc.
The possibilities are endless.
