A NOVEL EXPERIENCE
"Is reading my new novel a novel, novel experience!" - JTR
Writing or reading a novel could be termed a novel experience for writer or reader engaging for the first time or in the context of a
It is both my new novel - Lukaku's Black Gold - the novel, as well as new ways of doing things which I wish to highlight here.
As an entrepreneur you should seek to create novel approaches to your undertakings and create a novel experience for your clients and customers. It is a way to separate yourself from the crowd in the market place and position yourself and your business as an easily identifiable brand within your chosen niche. This does not mean that you should cast aside tried and trusted practices or known success formulas but you should be open to trying new approaches and modifying products and services in new ways. Entrepreneurs are innovators.
While success can come in many shapes and sizes, the greatest success stories are those of innovators and inventors. You can copy a product, service and ways of marketing and be hugely profitable, think Chinese goods for example; but the entrepreneurs who create the even greater impact on society, leave their indellible mark on history and earn the huge fortunes that go with it are out and out entrepreneur innovators. Think Henry Ford, Andrew Carnegie, Bill Gates - such stalwarts started with a 'bit of something', often just an idea, and transformed it into a massive success story. And they did it by doing something different, something novel. They did not just follow the herd, they went ahead of it. They created a novel experience.
