Making an immediate 'connection' with our perfect prospect takes knowledge and experience, the kind that you offer, thank you, Dennis.
I don't see marketing as making an immediate connection. It is just peaking your ideal customers interest into wanting to learn more. Only around 4 percent of people buy something the first time they see it.
What is important to your ideal customer? Show them that you care about the same things. How does your product or service help them meet their life goals, in helping them care for what matters to them.
Making an immediate connection is based on an SEO strategy (Bum Marketing) that builds pages around keywords or phrases, the idea is that the visitor has found that page by looking for the words the page is built around, so upon landing, I found that letting them know immediately that the content is about that phrase, which is what they have typed into their search box helps make a connection, and the more immediate, the better since it reduces bounce rate, which gives us a chance. About 3 years ago, I was pleased to see that Mike Filsaime was recommending the same tactic. The main benefit is a lower bounce rate which helps with conversions and sign-ups, thank you, Dennis.
