Hi Everyone!  I am George Pierce, this post is about how to magically improve email retention and open rate.  I will be sharing four tricks that I have never shared before. Tricks that you have probably never seen before, tricks that work like magic. 

You work hard to get people to join your list, as you should, your list is your most valuable online asset.  The part that they do not tell you about is that most of your new subscribers are likely to do one for both of the two worst things!??  They are not going to open our emails and/or they are going to unsubscribe. 

If your experience is like mine, as a newbie, getting new subscribers was difficult, and even more disappointing was almost no one opened my emails and many unsubscribed.  The bottom line is that building a list is the best thing that you can do for your online business, and the good news is that there are tricks that you can use to help improve your open rate and retention.

#1 is quality content and I am sure that you already know this.

So let's get to some lesser-known email strategies that work like magic.

Magic Email Trick #1

Extend Your Incentive!  HUH?

Most of us are using an incentive to acquire new email addresses.  Is there a way to make your free incentive last a month?  This question is rhetorical, you want to find a way to make your incentive last longer, and you will see why in a moment.  

By expanding your incentive to a month-long giveaway, you are increasing the value of your incentive, thus improving your chances of sign-ups.  Best of all, you are more likely to get your emails opened!  In addition, you are also more likely to get your new subscribers in the HABIT of opening your emails.  Technically, a habit is created after 21 days, so the idea is that your extended incentive will get your subscribers in the HABIT of opening your emails, a habit well worth the little extra effort it will take to create a month-long incentive.  

Examples of how to lengthen your giveaway could be a month's worth of free recipes, free tips, free videos, or free training. 

 Magic Email Trick #2

Use Subtle Hints!  

Sprinkle subtle hints into your emails, bonuses, videos, surveys, etc.   The subtle hint is to be committed.  Whatever your new subscribers' goals, your emails need to help them toward that success.  Include subtle hints that will help their mindset and their commitment.

FOR EXAMPLE:

Surveys are an excellent way to get valuable information from your subscribers.  

You may not realize that surveys can enable you to subtly help your new subscriber with commitment and mindset. 

Include a question that relates in some way to commitment or attitude. 

The idea of the question above is to plant the seed that they will at least try.

Magic Email Trick #3

Include What Your Subscriber Can Expect 

Let your new subscribers know about what they are going to receive.  Create excitement, need, desire, and anticipation.  Please focus on the primary benefit....your new subscriber needs to know how they will benefit from your emails.  Let them know.  The idea is that you want them to look forward to your emails. and, of course, open and read every one of your emails. 

Magic Email Trick #4

Include What Your Subscribers Will Find In Your Next Email

I suggest that you put this information in a PS.  The PS is supposedly the most read part of your email. Your PS should include an overview of what will be in your next email, and you also want to create excitement, need, desire, interest, and anticipation. In my posts here at SE, I usually include one or more  PSs...again, the PS is most likely to get read, and what is included is additional help and info, and often a LINK.

BONUS TIP

A link in your PS will get more click-throughs!  In other words, you can add a PS about what is in your next email and a PPS with a link to an offer or a bonus with an offer as an add-on.  

Although I cannot legally make any guarantees, if you try these tricks, I hope you will discover why I refer to them as MAGIC.

Did You Ever Notice?  A funny thing about money!

HI ALL!  I am George Pierce and this post is based on how you can use a proven Affiliate Marketing formula.  The formula is P+S=$ which stands for Problem plus Solution equals $$$.  The problem, in this case, is the need to lose weight, and the solution I am sharing is Sumatra Slin Belly Tonic, which  is a product available through Clickbank, an affiliate network that is free to join. This weight loss tonic is one of about a dozen weight loss products that you can affiliate with at CB. 

As you see above, the GRAVITY for this product is over 250. Gravity is a measure that CB uses to indicate how well a product is selling over the last 12 weeks.  High-gravity (over 100) indicates that the products are flying off the shelves.  At CB,  most of the sellers are giving away HUGE commissions.  

As you can also see above, the initial sale averages $129.06 commission with a future or rebill commission of another $75.23 which is over $200!

To earn commissions, your job is to send people who want to lose weight to the seller's website.  

The sellers at CB are going to make it as easy as possible!  

When you make money, they make money, so they are motivated by providing you with email swipes, demographics, keywords, ad inspiration lists, banners, images, and more.  

Below are ad inspiration phrases that Sumatra Slim Belly Tonic has put together for us.  

A free tool that I use (I upgraded) to help with KEYWORDS is Keyword Explorer, which is one of many tools to help you with YT.  KE is available from TbeBuddy.  The tool will assess your keywords based on search, competition, and keyword strength, and then give it an overall score.

A phrase with a score that shows up as Excellent should help you get free traffic.  Use high-scoring phrases in your tags and use one or more of the best in your title.  See the video and the PS for another SEO tip.

The following video shows how you can take advantage of the ad inspiration words and these high-soring keywords. It includes the two ad inspiration phrases and the keyword phrase.  These phases will be most helpful when sharing your video on social media many different times in many different ways by using varied images and text.

Your CTA tells your viewers to click the link below which goes to your squeeze page and then to your affiliate.

If you have ever searched for free music as I have, you may have discovered that a lot of free music ends up not being free.  The site that I will be sharing has a lot of free music and music that I believe is better.  The catch is that you will need to give what is called attribution.  Attribution is copying and pasting a piece of information that gives credit and/or a link back to the author.  

The site is Bensound dot com.  I do not believe that you need to join the site to use it, it is free to join. The advantage of joining is that the site will keep track of your downloads for you, also your favorites.

To get free music, go to Bensound and click on the Free Music tab.

As you see below, you will have access to all the free music.  You can sort by 

Energy Level

Duration

 

As you can also see below, the music is set to free music only.  

To the best of my knowledge, there are no limits on the number of downloads.  When you find a song that you like, click on the Free Download button and you will see a box like the one below.

Click on Download music and get Attribution text.  Copy and paste the text and include it in your description.  Each license code is different for each song.

Hi All!  I am George Pierce, this post is about what is called "Alternative Text".  When you add an image to your website or blog, you will see a section for alternative text,  The section allows you to describe your image,  Your benefit is a boost in SEO.  Stay with me for a gray hat marketing trick to help you hit some SEO Home Runs! by way of alternative text.

When you insert an image, adding a description will help the search engines know more about that image.  Whatever tool you use for your website creation, you will find a box for Alternative Text.

Using a site builder?

Be sure to describe your images.  Your benefit is better SEO, thus more traffic.

SHHH!

My gray hat marketing tip is a form of 'Keyword Stuffing".  The tip is to include the keyword phrase that your page or post is about in your image description.  

Search engines do NOT like keyword stuffing, so you must use care when doing this, and you must NOT do this if your alternative text seems as if you are forcing or stuffing in keywords.  

For Example

The alt text for the wide-eyed woman above is "wide-eyed woman confused about alternative text".    What I have done is "worked in" the keyword phrase that this post is based on.  I have tried to include the phrase conversationally.  You and I do not want it to seem that we are forcing our keyword phrase into our image description.  If it seems forced, do NOT include your keyword phrase in your alt text, it will hurt rather than help.  

If you can include it conversationally, images are right after videos when it comes to getting on page one of the search (based on my experience).

Hi ALL!  I am George Pierce, this post is about which social media platform has the longest post life.  My definition of Post Life is not how long your post stays on the social media site which may be indefinite, by Post Life, I am referring to how much time your post will drive traffic  According to research, 

• Twitter: 15 minutes
• TikTok & Snapchat: Start decaying immediately unless viral
• Facebook: 6 hours
• Instagram: 48 hours
• LinkedIn: 24 hours
• YouTube: 20 days or more
• Pinterest: 4 months

Virtually EVERYTHING I post online is shared on social media, and, of course, Pinterest is included in those social media sites.  The reason for this post is that I made a Pinterest post a few minutes ago, and here is what  Pinterest was telling me about some of my most active posts. (PINS)

The posts are not months old, they are years old!  

My point is that Pinterest will give you a lot of bang for your buck and it will keep on giving.  

An additional point that I have shared before is that QUOTES WITH A LINK are superb, as well as easy when it comes to generating traffic.  This trick works on all social media sites, and, as you can see above, can give you long-term traffic on Pinterest.

Above is one of many recipe sites that you will love.  The USDA provides these.  I discovered this many years ago.  At first, I was a little skeptical.  These are US government sites and recipes, and I was not enthusiastic about what I would find.  

Was I ever WRONG!!! 

Notice above, for example, the search boxes.  I cannot legally make promises but you will love MyPlate Kitchen as well as the rest of the sites that you will find, and you can use the search boxes to zero in on exactly what you are looking for.  

The site that I am going to send you to is the Recipes Collection page.  It is a list of over 30 sites, each site will make you drool.  Below is a snapshot of the site.  

You will find recipes of all kinds.  Recipes for kids, recipes for quick meals, recipes for healthy kids PDF, recipes for people with diabetes, heart-healthy recipes, Latino recipes, slow cooker recipes, and much more.  You will also find videos and more videos. 

This is a literal treasure trove of recipes of all kinds.  If you use the recipes for your site, be sure to put the recipe into your own words, in order to avoid duplicate content.  

BONUS TIP!

If your niche is weight loss, consider adding a diabetes section and a diabetes recipe section.  Your visitors will appreciate it and your traffic will increase.

Hi Guys And Gals!  I am George Pierce, this post is about two little-known secrets about Google Trends that you are going to love!  Google Trends can help you find niches and so much more.  The advantage of knowing what is trending is that you know what people are searching for, which means you know what people want to know more about.  Above is a snapshot of what is trending now.  We will talk more about that in a moment, 

In case you are not aware, you can also use Google Trends to find the top searches in almost any category, as well as for this year, last year, and so on. For example, one of my main niches is weight loss.  Google tends can tell me what is trending as far as diet or exercise or program or equipment, and so on.  Google Trends takes the guesswork out of what to choose for content and helps you with knowing what to focus on for articles, videos, posts, ads, emails, and so forth.

 The reason why I share the snapshot is that this morning, I created a video about the earthquake today in New York that was felt in NYC. 

It so happened that the trend went from 50K searches to 5+ MILLION!  That is 5+M searches in a single day! 

You may need a Chrome Browser for maximum benefit of the next tip.  

Find your trend or topic.  Click next to the trend that you are interested in...click just to the right as you see above.  

A little magic will happen! (see below)

Google is going to give you a list of keywords along with the top articles about that trending topic.   Google is telling us which keywords we should consider using, and just below the keywords, Google is telling us which content we should consider using for an article and/or video.  We need to spin the content or put it in our own words...Google hates duplicate content. 

Google makes it easy, and what better source for getting this kind of help than Google?

Hi ALL!  I am George Pierce, this post is about trends,  The trend you see in the snapshot above is 'Bird Flu'.  This is a trend that I believe that we all hope will be brief and without consequence.  Using trends in Internet Marketing and/or Video Marketing is a way to tap into a lot of search volume by creating textual content, video content, or both, about the trend.  The advantage is relatively easy traffic.  The disadvantage is that trends are usually short-lived.

and this post is a quick update.  The reason is that according to Google Trends, as you see above, this trend may last for a few days or longer.  

You might be thinking...SO WHAT!  

There is a way that you can use this same strategy and start making money from the traffic right away.

Above is a snapshot of a video that was just posted at a site called Rumble.  Rumble is a video platform, similar to sites such as YT. Daily Motion, and Vimeo.  The difference is that at Rumble, your videos are monetized almost immediately after being published.  What this means is that you can start earning money from this kind of traffic generation right away.

Video creation is easy and free.  Video editors are free such as ClipChamp and OpenShot.  Video content is free from sites such as Pixabay, Pexels, and Mixkit.  Google Trends ~ what is trending now ~ will provide you with an endless supply of material, your search box will help you find the information that you need for your article and/or video, and Rumble is free.  In addition, there are free tools such as Keyword Explorer and Ubersuggest that will help you with your SEO, for free traffic.

Hi All, I am George Pierce. This post is about trying new things online and the process.   I am presently beginning my newest adventure online which is RUMBLE.  RUMBLE is brand new for me!  Although I have 20 years of experience online, I am in unchartered territory, which is EXCITING!  If you are new to making money online, it is an exciting journey.  Best of all, there is always something new.  You will never run out of new challenges.  

Rumble is a video platform, similar to YouTube.  Since I know almost nothing about RUMBLE, I am a lot like a newbie.  If you are new to online marketing, allow me to share what I am doing, it should help you.  

Research!

The first step is to do the research.  Your initial research is called niche research, it is about finding out what your audience wants, in this case, it is also about finding your audience.  TRENDS are always popular online and on social media sites and video platforms such as YT and Rumble. Rumble is a TREND paradise.

There is a huge positive side to trends, they produce a flood of instant traffic.  There is also a negative side to trends, they are often short-lived.  

Based on research, trends are a fast way, perhaps the fastest way to get quick traffic on Rumble.  

If you or I want to know what is trending online, Google Trends will tell us for free.  

Over a half million searches in a day is a lot of searches. 

To take advantage of a trend, find one or more stories, articles, videos, etc, about the topic.  Put that content into your own words and use that as your video script.  Create your video yourself or with AI and upload it.  Share your upload on social media for added exposure.  

Will this work?   It should.  I have used this strategy before on websites that the search engines seemed to hate.  In those cases, it took about 4 weeks to get the organic traffic to flow.  I am hoping for less time for Rumble.  

What if it does not work?  

Not everything works, so there is no guarantee...but you and I will NEVER know if something works if we do not try.

Hi All!  I am George Pierce, this post is about images.  Images are going to help you and your online content.  Our mind is automatically drawn to an image, so images will help you to grab attention which is necessary to get visitors to read your content,  Images also help to enhance your content, so images help to keep attention, as well. In this post, you will discover some of the different kinds of images that you can use and how a free image tool can turn a novice into a pro.  

Just in case you are not sold on using images... Images are a MUST!  You want to use images in your posts on your websites, on your blogs, in your emails, and so on.  Your benefit will be obvious.  More and more of your visitors will read your content, and will want more.  In addition, click-throughs will skyrocket and that will mean more revenue. 

If you are like me, you may not feel that creativity is one of your strong suits, so you may feel that this 'image stuff' is not your thing.  The good news is that there is a free site called Canva, that can help people like us!  It is free and the site is chock full of all kinds of already-made image creations.  

Above is an example of what is called a hero image. This is the kind of image that you can use for a header, an ad, an email, etc. 

The image was already made, all I had to do was find it.

All it takes is to go to Canva, and then type into the Canva search box what you want.  

For example:  SPRING

Choose the image that you want.  If you want to customize the image, such as changing text, adding text, adding a logo, and so forth,  it is drag and drop easy, then name your creation and download.  

Allow me to share a few more types of images that you can use.

Next is a chart or graph.  Canva can help you in two ways.

Canva has already made graphs, such as you see above. 

Use the Canva search box, find the graph or chart that you want, customize it, name it, and download it.  

 If you want to create your own, Canva can do that too!  https://www.canva.com/graphs/

Go to the graph maker, name your graph, and Canva will help step by step you to choose and create your graph with ease.  

Graphs have a way of visually putting your information into perspective.  Graphs and charts can help your visitors as well as you.  

A graph or chart can help your visitors to see and understand and they can also help to separate you from the crowd.  

The next image is a QR Code.  Again, Canva makes this easy, You can use Canva to search for generic QR Codes.

You can use Canva to create a QR Code in minutes. 

It is so easy, go to Canva's QR Code Generator https://www.canva.com/qr-code-generator/  and follow the steps. 

Canva makes it simple, fast, and free.

The next image is called a GIF, which is an image that moves.  I have been an advocate of using GIFs for years and for using them in emails for a couple of years.  The big dogs started using them in emails about six months ago.  

Canva can help us here, as well.

You can search for GIFs, find the one you want, customize, name, and download.

Above is a snapshot of what you can do with Canva,  The actual GIF was too many MB for SE, and the link did not work.  The snapshot is static, but with the GIF,  the worm part moves  It is subtle, yet it draws attention.  Of course, embed your link into the image.  Above is, let's say, a more creative way to get clicks, and it works!  As mentioned, the movement draws attention, and what your visitor or email reader sees, is a different kind of button, a button that they might NOT have otherwise seen.  Unseen is UN-CLICKED! 

SHHH!  TIP:  By adding a smiling face and the word continue, your click-throughs should improve significantly.   

You can also get more free GIFs from a site called Giphy.  

If you want to make your own GIF, Canva will make it easy.  https://www.canva.com/create/gif-maker/

Canva will help you make GIFs from images or videos.  The software takes you step by step and you will be amazed at how easy it is to create a GIF.  

Your GIF will make you proud and, if you are not aware, you can post your GiFs on image and GIF sites such as Giphy and Imgur with a backlink for added exposure and traffic.  

 Another kind of image that can help you is a product mock-up.  

Canva, again, can help you.  Using Canva search, you will find all kinds of generic mock-up templates that you can customize and download. 

Canva also has a free Mock-Up Generator

Canva makes mock-up generation easy. Their free generator will do all the work, all you do is follow the steps. https://www.canva.com/create/mockup-generator/  You can create a custom mock-up in seconds and use it for promotion, as well as content creation.

 The next image is a logo,  If you do not yet have a logo, Canva can help. 

You can create a custom logo for free, and, it is fast and easy. Your logo is the graphic element that is going to be seen the most.  If you are not a designer, no problem. Canva provides you with a wide range of designs and templates and makes customizing easy.

The bottom line is that images are going to help your online efforts and your emails. A split test will make you a believer. This post, for example, is image-heavy, yet, each image can help to enhance the content and the message and help the reader.  

So start adding more images today in your content and your emails.

Hi ALL!  I am George Pierce, this post is about a site called RUMBLE.  Rumble  (https://rumble.com/)  is a video platform, in other words, a site where you can upload videos.  It is similar to YT, Daily Motion, Vimeo, etc. The main difference is that Rumble will monetize your videos almost immediately.  I am very new to Rumble, as you can see from the snapshot above.  I have researched Rumble, and to the best of my knowledge, it is a good site.  

I understand that only about one in ten channels on YT get monetized which means to be eligible for the YT Partner Program.  To benefit from the YT Partner Program, your channel needs 1K subscribers and over 4K views in the last 12 months.  Supposedly, only about 10% of YT channels become eligible.  Unfortunately, that means that about 90% of YT channels work for FREE.  

As mentioned, Rumble will monetize your videos almost right away.  In my case, shortly after being published.  Technically, Rumble has the same income potential as YT.  Rumble does offer 60%, and YT is 55%. 

With Rumble, there is no wait, therefore the reason for this post.

Hello ALL!  I am George Pierce.  One of my first online adventures was to create review sites (20 years ago).  I was new, and my Internet Marketing skills were almost at zero, so my success was nearly zero.  If you are considering making money online or struggling to make money online, I invite you to keep reading.  Review sites not only work, they work better than ever!  

Since my initial review site results were terrible (and they were!), allow me to share some of what I have learned that helped to turn that around.  

I believe that my first review site was about Web Hosting.  I had done a lot of research regarding Web Hosts before making a choice, so I felt that I had useful information about Web Hosting and comparing Web Hosts that I could share.  I checked out my competition.  I found that they were comparison sites, I found that there seemed to be no review sites, and I found that none of the sites included free hosting.  AHA!  

So I set up a TOP TEN "Review" site and included two bonus reviews. which were free web hosting sites.   

I had unknowingly discovered three superb ingredients for my creating a review site

#1 Top Ten   Create a top five or top ten

#2 Review rather than compare

#3 include free options 

But it did not work!  

WHY?

Mainly because I did not know SEO, my site did not flow, and my site was essentially a 'sales' site.  Even though it was supposed to be a 'review' site, it was unintentionally more about selling, rather than helping.  My visitors were being sold, not helped, and they felt it, and, therefore, my results suffered.  

 One of the reasons why review sites work better than ever is that today, most people are going to look at reviews before making a purchase.   What this means to you, is that most people are going to be interested in your review...in addition, this also means that most people are in the last stage of making a buying decision!  They are ready to buy.   We need to get them to visit our site and SEO is a fast and free way to generate quality traffic.

#SEO

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization.  SEO revolves around what are called KEYWORDS which are the words that your potential visitors would use to find your content.  SEO will benefit us in generating traffic and it will help us to find the niches and keywords that have good traffic or great traffic with less competition.  

What I knew as a beginner about SEO was the definition and a vague overview of how it worked.  What I did not know was the part about LESS COMPETITION.  I believe that is a common SEO mistake.  The result, however, is that most newbies find keywords that have high search volume, but also have high competition.  This renders our SEO ineffective!  It also might make us doubt that review sites work and doubt that SEO works.  

What is so fantastic about SEO today is that there are tools that will help us with our SEO, and they are FREE.  We can evaluate a niche and find keywords with less competition in a matter of seconds.  

Above is an example of a free tool called Keyword Explorer, which evaluates our keywords giving them an Overall Score, as well as suggesting additional keywords.  I have the paid version, which is what you see, the free version provides 3 suggested keywords.  

The thing to remember is to find keywords with less competition, for a newbie, I suggest keywords that score in the GREEN.  

#5 Help your visitors rather than sell.

 Of course, you and I want to make sales, but when visitors feel as if they are being sold, they often leave our site for good.  If they feel that our content is of value, they are much more likely to stay, to read our reviews, as well as to 'Click Through" to our affiliate web hosts.  Click-throughs result in sales!

Create reviews that are actual reviews rather than a comparison.  I use comparison sites, but web hosting and many products and services are going to do better with a review.  Reviews are meant to give the reader a look at the good and the bad along with an opinion, evaluation, and/or recommendation.  I am not a fan of negative reviews but including one or more products that you are NOT recommending can help your credibility, and boost your trust.  n

For Example, Above is a web host that I used to recommend, unfortunately, they have cut their storage and reduced their free version to free for one year.  It will be a part of a BONUS of several hosts that are NOT RECOMMENDED. BUT...the hosting is excellent as well as the service, so that info will be included.  On a review site, You and I want to provide value, value that visitors might not find elsewhere, and value that will help them build trust and be more comfortable when considering clicking through to an affiliate.  

What you and I want is for our visitors to find value in our reviews.  This may take a little research, but it will produce real value that you can pass on, which will be appreciated and help get more clicks.

#6 CONTINUE

 One of my favorite words for helping to get click-throughs is CONTINUE.  Even more important than the word is the concept.  HUH?  You and I want our visitors to continue...to click through to our affiliate, so let's do our best to make that click-through, a natural next step.  The idea is that we set up a path for our visitors to follow and when they reach the point where it is time to click, it is simply to continue. 

#7 VIDEO 

Also, make short videos based on keywords such as Go Daddy, keywords that score well.  If you will notice above,

there are an unbelievable 5.62 MILLION searches per month on YT for 'Go Daddy'! 

Post your short videos on YT, also on TikTok, IGTV, Pinterest, and FB.  This is an easy way to generate a ton of free traffic which adds up to more sales.   Include a CTA in your videos which sends your viewers to your review site.

I can attest that review sites work, and, I know from experience that when those sites are not done right, they do not work.  Add the ingredients above, and top it off with videos.

PS.  Videos are incredibly easy to create and you can create them for free.  You can legally use already-made video clips from sites such as Pixabay and Pexels, and you can use sites such as Clipchamp for a free online editor with no watermark and no limits.  You can also create cartoon-like videos on sites such as Renderforest and Powtoons.  The amount of traffic will surprise you, and videos are not just easy, they are fun.

Hi Everyone!  I am George Pierce, I have been learning Internet Marketing for about 20 years, and I have been lucky at Internet Marketing for about 18 years.  On one of my recent online adventures, I tried something a little different which has been to "OVER ENGAGE"!  I follow a 3 step formula for my online marketing, the third step is sharing.  Step three is to share news of your content on social media whenever a new web page, video, blog post, Press Release, landing page, etc., is created.  The idea of sharing is to get exposure, which is immediate and free.  The immediate benefit is TRAFFIC!  

If you are not sharing your video or textual content on social media, you are missing out on a traffic opportunity that will benefit you in more ways than just traffic!  This post is about sharing and maximizing your benefits.  

The secret sauce is to over-engage.  

Above is the result of my "over-engage" experiment.  It is a snapshot of a YT channel that had its first view on November 10, 2023.  That is a few days over 4 months old (at the time of this post).  The results of this NEW channel that you are seeing above are free and organic, not paid.   

My thinking was that a new channel needs all the exposure that it can get.  The same can apply to a blog or website. What if extra effort were added to the third step in the form of OVER engagement?  I tried it, and it worked.  If it works for my content, it should work for yours.

What is Engagement?

Engagement involves sharing your content on social media, which is a step that you want to include, and it means being social.  Engagement is to participate in the social community which you are sharing your content with.  Posting your content and doing little to nothing more will equal little to nothing in return. If you have tried social media and it has not worked, it is because you were not 'social' enough.  

Engagement includes liking, sharing, and commenting.  Like other people's posts, share other people's posts, comment about other people's posts.  As part of over-engaging, respond to any comments that your posts receive, like and comment when your posts are shared, and go out of your way to be warm and friendly.  

Above is a snapshot of one of my FB groups.  What you sow, you shall reap.  Your engagement will be rewarded, in fact, it will end up being FUN!

Over-engaging is easier than you think.  When you share your content, click on the notification bell, and take action.  Keep your responses positive, considerate, and engaging, in other words, friendly and conversational. 

Questions!??

Questions are one of the best ways to generate a conversation but do not ask silly questions, and do not ask questions for the sake of asking questions.  What is going to happen is that you will soon be making friends and more friends and more friends.   

Know, Like, Trust

An important part of marketing is to get people to know like and trust you.  When that happens, everything seems to suddenly fall into place.  Over engaging can help you to make that happen.

Search Engines!

When you share your content you are not only going to benefit from all the above, you are also creating links to your content.  Since most social media sites are considered to be 'high-ranking' sites, your sharing generates high-ranking backlinks.  In the eyes of search engines, high-ranking backlinks are an indication that your content has value. 

As you share your content, be sure to give it a LIKE.  Your engagement is also going to create more likes from others, as well as comments, and shares. Your "conversations" result in more and more comments.  When search engines see content with lots of likes, shares, and comments, they consider that content to be 'engaging', and engaging content is also considered to be content that has value. 

The bottom line is that search engines are much more likely to share your content since it has value.  This can have a viral potential. 

Real Value!

There is a catch, that catch is that your content does have to have real value.  The examples above are ways to create perceived value, the real test is when visitors or viewers arrive.  Give them value!

Hi All!  I am George Pierce and this post is about improving your position for online success!  This is advice that both newbies and experienced marketers can take, but there is one problem.  It is what I consider to be 'vague'.  I see so much vague advice for newbies.  Usually, this vague advice is what to do but not how to do it.  For a newbie, who may not have a clue, the how is not only important, it is often essential.  

Yet, I am going to give you this advice.

Why?

Because sometimes, even with experience, you do not know what to do next.  As a newbie, I believe that not knowing what to do next is an experience that happens too often.  

My Story:

I like to play chess and thought that I was a pretty good player.  I had moved to W. Palm Beach and joined the PB Chess Club.  These guys know how to play chess!  I do not like losing and the chess club offered free chess lessons.  The chess lessons were taught by Carmen Nigro.  Carmen sort of learned chess during the war (WWII).  He learned from a chess book about 'end games', and became an end-game expert, and a chess master.  Carmen happened to be Bobby Fisher's teacher when Bobby was a teen, so I had lucked out!  After that, Carmen molded me into a Bobby Fisher-like chess machine ~HA!  

What happens in chess is that you often reach a point in the game, where you do not know what to do next.  When that happens, Carmen's advice is to improve your position.  In chess that relates to SMAK, Space, Mobility, Attack, or Kill.  Can you gain more space, improve mobility, create an attack, or create a checkmate?

"OH!  You are so LUCKY!"  ~ one of my favorite compliments! A little over a year ago, I began a new YT journey, and so many times I did not know what to do, so I did my best to improve my position.  (The views above are 100% ORGANIC)

Online marketing will present opportunity after opportunity. Often these opportunities are in new unchartered online waters.  As mentioned, we do not know what to do.  Unfortunately, some of us decide not to try.  Do not do that.  Simply try to figure out how you can improve your position.  

That is extremely vague, so allow me to give you a couple of suggestions that should help improve your position. Think about your audience first, and your search engines second.   The better that you and I can relate to our audience and the search engines, the better our results will be.  

With experience, more and more of your efforts will work and work the first time, so keep trying to improve your position.

Hi Everyone!  I am George Pierce.  If your TikTok videos are getting 200 to 400 views, and then stop getting views, there is a reason and a fix.  The reason is that the TikTok algorithm sends your video to a few hundred TikTok viewers to see how viewers respond.  When your views stop consistently, video after video, the reason is that your viewers are NOT sending good signals to TT.  Good signals relate to likes, comments, shares, and watch time.  

What this lack of good signals tells TT is that viewers do not like your video.  I know what that is like, and although the fault lies with me and you, there is a FIX!  

I use TT to drive traffic to a website, one of my YT channels, a squeeze page, etc, to drive traffic to wherever I want.  In most cases, my TT videos are short 9:16 versions of a YT video, and my TT videos send viewers to the YT channel.  My link to the channel is in the bio, a different TT channel per YT channel.  

I use a strategy called "The Rest Of The Story", giving a taste of what the TT viewer will find at YT.  Sometimes this works well, sometimes not.  When it does not, I have a fix.  I also use this fix for YT shorts. 

Try this!

Go to your YT Analytics for the video that you want, and scroll to key moments.  You will see one or more spikes, click one of those spikes and you will see the exact moment that it occurred.  In the video above, it was the car match.  Create a short clip leading up to the spike.  I suggest you export two clips, one for TT and one for YT, the difference is the CTA.  See Bio or Join Channel.  

Do NOT dismiss this trick.  

YT has the best stats on the planet and the spike is showing you and me, that part of our video that our viewers like best.  It is handing it to us on a silver platter, and guess what happens on TT and YT shorts when we give our viewers what they like best?

They WATCH, they LIKE, they COMMENT, they SHARE!  This sends good signals to TT and YT and our views go UP!

The TT video will not work on SE, but the YT version will.  The only difference, as mentioned is the CTA.  

The TT and YT videos have a shortened version of an intro for branding, and instead of an outro, they have a CTA.  

This is a free way to get more views fast and for free, as well as more watch time, and ultimately more followers on TT and more subscribers on YT.  

You will need a video editor to create these clips, Clipchamp is a free online editor, and Shotcut and Openshot are free downloadable editors.  All of these editors are outstanding and with no watermark and no limits.

Hi ALL! I am George Pierce, I have about 20 years of online experience, and this post is about finding the right web host early.  I can remember shopping for the "perfect" host, and I thoroughly did my homework.   Back then, there were good hosts, and there were bad hosts.  Bad hosts...hosting with all kinds of problems, glitches, and downtime.  Today, to the best of my knowledge, all web hosts are good regarding performance and with little to no downtime. 

There can be a problem, however, which is that you can outgrow your hosting.  

In my case, and I believe in most cases, your growth kind of sneaks up in you, Even worse, it can take several years.  Over several years, your site probably has a lot of content.  And your host lets you know that you have exceeded your storage limit...the amount of space your site is using for its content.  Even worse, your host informs you that your site is exceeding bandwidth...why this is worse is that bandwidth is relative to your traffic...the more traffic your site gets, the more bandwidth it uses.  The whole idea is to get traffic, the more the better, and suddenly your host informs you that your bandwidth exceeds their limits.  

Your are usually faced with two options, a significantly higher hosting cost or moving your site.  Moving your site is supposed to be one click easy, it was NOT.  It was difficult, so difficult, it was painful.  

The solution is to find the right host at the start.  This right host should give you virtually unlimited hosting.  I use Hostinger which is virtually unlimited hosting, about $3.50 per month, if paid 4 years at a time. I have not used Dream Host, Green Geeks, or A2 Hosting, which is supposed to be comparable with a cost closer to $3 per month.  

I am a proponent of starting for free and there is a lot of great free hosting, however, you are going to outgrow your free hosting.  When you do, check out some of the lower-cost hosting, it is excellent, and best of all, it can save you HUNDREDS of dollars per month.  As you see above, it is easy to use more bandwidth in a day, than many hosts allow for a month, so keep 'unlimited' in mind.

Hi Gals And Guys!  I am George Pierce, and this post is about a new YouTube trick that doubles my views.  Perhaps it can help you.  I have about 20 years of online experience, my YouTube experience, however, relative to growing a YT channel is about 14 months, so when it comes to growing a channel, I am still somewhat of a newbie. One of the ways to learn what works and what does not is to try new things and see what happens.   That is what I am doing.  

Doubling YouTube Views!? with proof

My strategy is super simple, it is to utilize the PREMIERE option when publishing, but there is considerably more that I believe that you need to know to take advantage of this option, as well as to NOT have it backfire.  

The following is based on my research and opinion, however, I believe this trick has serious potential for helping your channel if used properly.

The above snapshot is my results so far.  

The normal amount of views for this channel at 2 hours and 10 minutes is 24, according to YT.  The amount of views is all organic, the only different thing is that this video was set as a PREMIERE.  So far, this is proving to help boost views, which is the intent.

What YOU Need To Know!

Do not wear it out!  Overuse will probably hurt your channel, so use it sparingly.

Consider using this with a SERIES!??  The video above is one of ten, in other words, a SERIES of 10 videos.  I intend that the last two videos will be posted as premieres perhaps a week before publication.  To the best of my knowledge, you and I can schedule our videos up to a month away and then hit premiere.

YT creates a watch page when we set a video as a premiere.  

According to YT:
We can customize our Premiere by choosing a different countdown theme, monetizing your Premiere, or showing a trailer on the watch page before your Premiere starts.
Guide your viewers to your live stream. Guide your viewers to your live stream by using Live Redirect.
Build excitement by sending your audience from a live stream to a Premiere.
Share your Premiere watch page URL on social media.
Set your Premiere as your channel trailer. Learn how to change your channel layout.
Encourage your viewers to set a reminder by leaving a comment or chat message on your watch page. When someone sets a reminder, they’ll get a notification about 30 minutes before the Premiere and another when it starts.

The idea is that a premiere can boost interest, create interest, anticipation, and excitement, and increase exposure. The bottom line is more views.  

Applying this to a series should add to your benefits.  In my case, I believe that a ten-video series may be a bit long, so I will be premiering the first two videos, and then the last two.  The last two are the ones that I expect to see the best results.  The best day for almost every channel to set a premiere is Saturday.  The best time is probably around 3 PM.  I will probably schedule the last two on a Saturday, the second to last at 2:30 PM and the last at 3 PM.  

So consider putting together a video series, premiering the first and last videos with several days before the video airs, and your last video to air on a Saturday afternoon.

PPS.  Another tip. I intend to create a trailer for my last two videos, by putting together a few clips of the most watched portions of the previous videos in the series.  Click on the video you want, click on Analytics, then scroll down to key moments for audience retention, and click on a spike, it will tell you where that spike occurs on the timeline, create a clip for each video in the series, and put those clips together for your trailer.  Most channels are not doing this, thus we have an edge.  

Hi All!  I am George Pierce, this post is about treating your online business like a business, especially when things are not working,  Please excuse the tough love, it is also about acting like an adult.  You are the boss, when it comes to making money online, so you must act accordingly.  

My most recent online adventure is doing poorly.  You can see the proof in the snapshot below. 

What you are seeing above is a snapshot of a recent YT channel.  About 30 days old.  

But that is not what matters!??

I am not happy about it, but it is almost good that you can see that even with experience, your online ventures do NOT work.  It is working, but poorly, certainly not as planned.  

The hard truth is that if you are a newbie if your results are like mine were, almost nothing online works well.  

What matters is how we react or respond.  

You and I can react positively or negatively.  Unfortunately, it seems to be a normal response to act negatively.  From a business point of view and from an adult point of view, a negative reaction is not going to help our biz.  

A positive response is to identify that something is wrong, that is certainly obvious, and then figure out what is wrong, and fix it.  

Posts have been regular daily, SEO has been good, content has been content that is what people want, so...my negative reaction could be that 

YT hates my channel and people hate my videos and this stuff does not work!  

Or...there is a problem, dig a little deeper, find it, and fix it.  

I did dig deeper, the problem is what I call 'conflict'!???  An easy, easy, easy problem for beginners, a DUMB problem for someone with experience. 

Shame on me!

The conflict is that the channel has been a mixture of vintage content.  That sends mixed signals to YT so it does not know what the channel is about. What you see above is an example of what happens to your channel or website when your content is varied. In my case, I need to decide on the channel's niche and stick with it so that YT will know what it is about.  

The bottom line is that your initial efforts as a newbie may have less-than-expected results.  Please take a step back and react positively.  Making money online is a fantastic opportunity, setbacks are going to happen, and each one has a FIX.  YT or Google does not hate us, in fact, they want to to love our content, so stick with it, and they will.

Above is another channel, about 120 days old, so you can see that a happy ending awaits.  

It may take a little practice, but it will get easier and easier to respond positively. Start now with the intent of making a positive response, a habit.

Hi Everyone!  I am George Pierce and this post is about getting more views on YouTube.  It is easy, it is fast, and it is free. The strategy is based on making an immediate "CONNECTION"!  This is an essential trick that will help you with more views as well as help to improve your watch time.  

Connection?  

Let us begin with the fact that your prospective viewers are searching for your content.  There are probably at least two or three or more keywords that would describe what your content is about.  For illustration purposes, allow me to use a real-life example.  It will help you to understand, to see that it is quite easy, and to see that it works.

The example that I will be using is a Cash Cab video.  There are three ways that you and I want to "CONNECT".

#1 Title

#2 Thumbnail

#3 In our video

Someone who would be searching for a video such as the one in the snapshot above would probably type into their search box, words such as

Cash Cab, Cash Cab Full Episode, and Ben Bailey. 

The title includes or addresses all three of those probable search terms.  

If you look at the Thumbnail, it is quite obvious that the video is Cash Cab and Ben Bailey will be the host.  

Something I have noticed about channels that use SEO, is that their videos are still sometimes being overlooked!  The reason is that their thumbnail and title (which work together) do NOT make an immediate CONNECTION.  When there is no immediate connection, there is no connection at all. Of course, that failure to connect hurts their channel, but it is so easy to fix.  

When you are creating your title and thumbnail, think about how you can make an instant connection with your prospective viewers.   

When YT and Google share your videos, and when your title and thumbnail connect, as you can see above, it will mean lots more views.  The views are free, and, since you need to create a title and thumbnail anyway, create them with "CONNECTING" in mind.  The CTR is 13.4%,

You also want to make that same immediate connection in your videos, which will mean more watch time.  Let your viewers know at the very beginning of your video what it is about and what they can expect. 

The average watch time for the above Cash Cab video is 10 minutes and 12 seconds. 

The channel watch time is 14.6K hours for the last 28 days.  FYI, the channel is about 5 days shy of being 4 months old, and has 830 subscribers growing at the rate of about 11 per day, in other words, this is still a small channel, and the traffic, views, watch time, etc, are free and organic.  

If you are using SEO and niche research for your channel, add this little trick of CONNECTING.

HI ALL!  I am George Pierce.  This post is based on the last video of my Clickbank Tutorial for beginners which is in the making. The theme of the video is The More You Learn, The More You Earn.  The video is going to be a list of several websites that you can go to for more free quality training.  I know of several sites and courses that I will be recommending.  I decided to search for Clickbank Training, Clickbank Training Sites, and Clickbank Training Videos, that I could add to my list.
