Hi Guys and Gals!  I am George Pierce, I am not a financial consultant, I have little expertise, yet I have had good luck when it comes to money.  Most of my luck is due to following my rich friends who have had good luck with money.   I would like to share some quick old-school insights about money and the economy in this post.

Gold!??

My rich friends have gold.  They actually own it, tangible gold in various forms.  Nothing I know of will outperform gold for an ROI over the long haul.  

Investing!??

I am a huge fan of the Magellan Fund and have been an active investor in the fund for almost 40 years.  It was closed to new investors for a while, but now it is open to the public again.  It is available through Fidelity. 

The Economy!??

Although the above chart may look bad, allow me to share what I believe is GOOD NEWS about the economy.  

Typically nothing screams a financial recovery like a meme supplies rally.

I do not have a crystal ball but I am confident about what follows.   GME (Game Stop, see below) was among the top traded supplies yesterday. 

AMC (above) was up over 3% (3.63%) and best of all, a sense of optimism seems to be back in the stock market.  When people feel good about the economy, the economy typically responds accordingly.

Hi All!  I am George Pierce, this post is about longer videos vs shorter videos on YouTube.  If you are creating your own videos, according to my research, videos about 9 or 10 minutes long or longer should do your channel more good than shorter videos.  The idea behind this is that longer videos are likely to get more watch time.  YouTube considers watch time as an indicator of how much or how little people like your videos.  So if longer videos mean more watch time, and if the YT algorithm is partial to watch time, then longer videos should be your best option.   

This is another consideration and that is called viewer retention which is a measure of how long people watch your videos versus the length of your videos which is expressed in a percentage. What this means is that a video with a high viewer retention rate, regardless of length, also sends a signal to YT that people like your video.  

The bottom line is to create quality videos based on what your audience wants.  Your audience will like your videos and the YT algorithm is smart enough to know.  

Above is a snapshot of two of my YT channels that are based on my Faceless Video strategy, which is a way to grow a YT channel legally using other people's videos for free.  

The channel on the left is a game show channel so most videos are 20+ minutes long (shorter videos), the channel on the right is a vintage movie channel so most videos are an hour to two hours + in length (longer videos).

The movie channel is presently ahead based on watch time, but the game show channel is ahead based on the number of views.

Which one is going to WIN? 

When I recently created these channels, I thought that the movie channel was going to be the favorite because of watch time.  Now, I can see that the game show channel may end up winning because of views. 

The good news is that both are doing well and have phenomenal potential.

Hi All!  I am George Pierce, I learned about an online marketing method called Bum Marketing about 15 years old.  It is simple, it is free, and it works!  I have used this strategy over and over again, so I know it works.  It is based on what is called SEO, which is short for Search Engine Optimization.  Do not let SEO intimidate you, SEO revolves around what are called "Keywords", which are the words that people would type into their search box when looking for a product or service.  Bum marketing is a method that you can use to build content (such as web pages, videos, blog posts, social media posts, etc) around those keywords which enables you to tap into those searches, thus generating free traffic.  As your content accumulates, so will your free traffic.

The PDF that I put together is only 5 pages long, so there is no fluff, it is a detailed overview of the Bum Marketing Method.

The Video will provide you with Bum Marketing Training as well as enable you to see it in action.

Hi All!  Above is an old trick that still works. Post a picture of your product or affiliate product with a Frequently Asked Question on social media sites.  DO NOT Link to your affiliate.  I recommend that you link to a YT video that gives a brief overview of your pictured product and that your Call To Action gives your viewers two options, to visit your review page and your comparison page, although you want to provide them with three options,   

#1 Buy Now with a link to your product or affiliate product

#2 Learn More About What We Have Discovered with a link to a web page about the product...review page

#3 See how this TV (or your Product) compares to ... name two or three competitors and link to a comparison page.  

In your video, give your viewers a taste of what they can expect to find on your information page or review page, as well as your comparison page,  Use Your CTA as an invitation for them to get "The Rest Of The Story".  

When you use this technique, keep in mind what your prospect wants.  He/She wants a yes, no, or even a maybe, but more importantly, wants information and "ASSURANCE". Assurance that this is a good product, good purchase, a worthwhile investment, etc, or assurance that it is not.  It is OK to share the good and the bad, in fact, it makes for a better review and one that is more trustworthy. 

For example, your video CTA might say...at the time we made this video, this TV is selling for under $100, which is a lot of TV for the money...or is it?  We will give you the answer and share what we have found, the good and the bad, you will find a link to the review page in the description. We have also compared this TV to three other low-cost name brands so you can see how this TV stacks up against the completion, a link to the comparison page is also in the description. 

I am using TVs as an example because, in my opinion, this is an example of an easier way for newbies to get started making money online as an affiliate marketer.  This post is sort of a continuation of my previous post about how comparison marketing can help newbies get off to a better start.

The following is a snapshot of some of the video tags that you could use on an onn 32" Walmart TV.  I share this because I struggled to make sales as a newbie.  Although I cannot make any guarantees, each tag below is a relative keyword phrase. If you install TubeBuddy, it is free, you will be able to see your own tags and your competitors' tags.

Each tag that has a green number is a tag that ranks on page one of the YT search....PAGE ONE FREE!

In the above example, 21 keyword phrases rank on page one, and 14 of those are going to be at or near the TOP!   Free Exposure!  Free Traffic!

People are searching for TVs, all kinds of TVs, including Walmart TVs (onn TVs).  TubeBuddy's Keyword Explorer will help you find tags that score well, in fact, it will do most of the work, and, as mentioned, it is free.  

My intent is that you see the amazing potential behind these simple steps.  

SUMMARY  ~ Do This!

Create a web page about onn TVs or your product (review page), create a comparison page showing how it compares to two or three other name brands, create a brief video using "the rest of the story" strategy, and share your videos on social media sites. 

To find relative questions, you can use Google and YouTube Autofill and Quora.   

Create an image similar to the one at the top of the post, share it on social media, and link it to your YT channel.  More Free Exposure and More Free Traffic!

Find another brand or relative niche such as a Roku TV, 4K, 8K, Smart TV, Insignia, Samsung, etc., I think you get the picture and repeat the process.  Then rinse and repeat again and again.

Hi All!  I am George Pierce, this post is about using comparison marketing. This post is geared toward affiliate marketers who have some experience but are struggling to make money.  It is a strategy that works year-round but can be exceptionally lucrative around the Holidays.  

Follow these steps and make money!  I cannot legally make promises, but what follows has worked for me for years, and keeps on working,  

Join well-known affiliate programs such as Walmart, Target, Amazon, eBay, Lowes, and Home Depot.  The 'trust factor' makes sales much easier.  Set up a website, Webador is free.  Using TVs as an example, name your website based on keywords. This works for almost any product.  

For example, name your site:  Which TV Is Best 2023, then change it to 2024 on Jan 1, 2024, or include HTML to change it automatically each year.  

Make sure your KEYWORDS that you name your site after, are in your meta section and also near the top of your web page.  When your visitor searches for a keyword phrase such as Which TV Is Best 2023, and then he or she sees those KEYWORDS as they land on your page, it makes an immediate connection.  Your benefit is that your visitors are much more likely to stay, which is essential.  

I have used What TV Is Best 2023, as you see below.  

 The above image is reduced but gives you a good example of what your home page could look like.  

Base your home page on one keyword phrase, and use a keyword saturation of 1/2 to 1%.  

Your next step is to 

"Make each page a comparison page."

A comparison means that you will put three or four TVs side by side,  with images and descriptions, and customer review ratings.   Do it right, however, in other words, do the research and provide your visitors with your top 3 or 4 choices, and be sure to include a BUY NOW button

which, of course, links to your appropriate affiliate product page.  

You can also compare the same TV from 3 or 4 different retailers, mainly to compare price.  Do this with your best sellers. 

 Why this works so well is that you can build an almost infinite number of comparison pages built around KEYWORDS. 

I also recommend that you add an email sign-up form so that your visitors can keep up to date.

If you know HTML, create Dynamic Ads. Google or W3 School can help you with your HTML.  

Above is another snapshot of Keyword Explorer.  It is one of many free tools that TubeBuddy provides to help with your YT channel.  If you are new to TB, you can use related searches (bottom right in the above snapshot) to find your keyword phrases and you can use Keyword Explorer to determine how well they score.  

Why I am sharing TB Keyword Explorer is that you are going to need traffic.  The best way to get traffic is to create short videos using the content on your web pages as the basis for your videos.  Post your videos on sites such as YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, and share them on sites such as Facebook, Tumblr, Pinterest, Twitter(X), Blogger, Reddit, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, etc.  

Make MORE $$$$  ~  Upgrade Your Clientele!???

Notice the Keywords in the above snapshot... "best 4K TV under 1000" which is a way to make more money.  In addition, be sure to include 8K TVs with legit comparisons.  

Your biggest draws!

Above is an example of why this kind of comparison marketing works! Using the keywords, you can create one or more videos based on the phrase.  However, you do NOT want to create more than one comparison page per phrase.  Your stats will quickly inform you as to which keywords are your biggest draws.  Go back to those pages and add more content, preferably below your Buy Now button. and add your keyword phrase one or more times...again a keyword saturation of 1/2 to 1% is recommended.  Do not go over 1%.  

MONEY!  MONEY!

8K TVs are expensive, but people are buying them, so be sure to include pages with comparisons of 8K TVs and gear your pages to your audience.  Much of your 8K audience are gamers and viewers who want a life-like experience.  in other words, create 8K comparison pages for gamers, for PS5, for Fortnite, for Xbox, etc.  When you make sales, you will make even bigger commissions.  

 BONUS!

You may have noticed that you have been flooded with Keyword Explorer snapshots and KEYWORDS in this post.  Thanks to Keyword Explorer, you and I can determine which keywords are going to be the best keywords to build our comparison pages around.  And when your visitors are searching for the best 4K TV under 1000, and that search takes them to your page and your page says (near the top) Best 4K TV Under $1000, they are extremely likely to read more, to stay on your page.  Use the SAME technique in your videos.  Let them know at the beginning of your video that it is about "Best 4K TV Under $1000".  Your viewers are more likely to watch, visit, and buy.

Santa Needs Your Help!  TVs are no longer heavy but they are still big.  

Hi Everyone!  I am George Pierce, I have 20+ years of online experience, and I share what I have learned.  Above is a snapshot of a Google search that I made in answer to a question.  The question was "Air date?".  I know it was June of 1989 but I did not know the exact date, and, of course, Google knows, thus the above search.  The air date was June 14th by the way, but the reason that I am sharing this is that the video on PAGE ONE is from a NEW CHANNEL!  

In addition to the video being on page one of Google search, the Reddit link is MY brand new Reddit Group.  The result is that this video from a new channel is showing up TWICE on page one, Reddit being a bonus.  Even if you are new, you can do this.  

What I want to share with you is briefly HOW you too can make this happen for your website and/or channel.

Two simple ingredients will help you to get on page one for free and one simple strategy.

The simple strategy is that the easiest and, as you can see, the fastest way to get on Page One Of Google Search is by way of YouTube.  In other words, if you have a website, when you create content for your site, use that content as the basis of a video.  If making videos does not appeal to you, the good news is that video creation is easy, especially with the use of AI.  In addition, there is no need to be in front of a camera or to do a voice-over. There are free sites that you can use for AI creation, such as Fliki, and there are free video editors that will compare with paid ones, such as Clipchamp and ShotCut.   There is no need to spend money, and once you try it, your only regret will be that you did not start sooner.

The two simple ingredients are 

#1 Content that your viewers or visitors want.

#2 Keywords

You can use niche research to help you with both.  Most of us are guilty of posting content or publishing videos that we believe our visitors or viewers want and content that we want. To get on page one, you need to create what your audience wants.  Niche research takes the guesswork out of determining what your audience wants, it will tell you exactly.  In addition, niche research will help you to find keywords.  Keywords are the words that people who are interested in your content are using to find it.  The keywords that you want to focus on are the ones with good search and less competition.  Two free tools that will help you with niche research are Ubersuggest and TubeBuddy.  I am a long-time user of both, so I attest that they are great.  What makes these tools so helpful is that they will do most of the work including comparing search volume, keyword strength, and competition, and coming up with an overall score as to which keywords will help you most.  The lower the score with Ubersuggest, the better.  The higher the score with TubeBuddy, the better.  I have created a  free Niche Marketing Training video which I invite you to watch for step-by-step details.

Hi All!  I am George Pierce, and this post is about how to get worthwhile free exposure online and thus more traffic, whatever your online venture or adventure, this is an easy way to gain immediate exposure, a way to share your content on social media without cost or effort.  

Sharing, however, for most of us can seem a bit daunting. 

Which sites should we join?  Once we decide on the sites on which we want to share our content, we need to go to the trouble of joining.  Then, every time we make a post or upload a video, we need to go to the trouble of sharing our content with site after site.  Although sharing is not as difficult as it might seem, for many of us, it may seem as if it is more trouble than it is worth. 

Of course, we can pay for our content to be syndicated or shared, but that can get expensive.  In addition, it is an ongoing expense that adds up fast.

Above is a snapshot of one of THREE shares that I came across just this morning on Facebook alone that were made by SE (Syndication Express).  SE will syndicate your post or video times SEVEN and for FREE.  

The Two Steps:

#1 Join SE once for free, it is easy and fast.

#2 Share your content once on SE and let SE share it times Seven (SE will syndicate your content on the most trafficked social media sites) automatically and for free.  

Personally, SE has outperformed ALL other options for free generated traffic for my Internet Marketer Training channel.  Ning overtook FB about 3 years ago and has consistently proven to be a real value month after month.  Above is a snapshot taken minutes ago...NING dot com is SE.  

I followed step one, and I joined, as mentioned one time.   

I follow step two, I share my content.  (SE does the rest for free). In other words, for you to benefit as I do from SE, simply use it.  You will be glad you did.

One of the secrets to poker success is folding! 

Most new poker players play too many hands. Poker is like investing, so invest your chips in hands that have potential and fold the ones that don't.  

Most new Internet Marketers try too many things all at once.  This problem is called SOS or Shiny Object Syndrome. I am not letting you off the hook, but there are an almost endless amount of Shiny Objects that newbies are being convinced that they need.  All these tools and opportunities can have devastating results.  

To combat this dilemma, be particular about how you invest your time and do not waiver.  As far as spending your money, do NOT spend your money...not until your online biz or venture can afford it.  I have put together a list of free resources that can help you with YT or Affiliate Marketing.

INFORMATION!

The ones that win at poker are labeled 'aggressive'.  Aggressive players are the ones who gain INFORMATION.  For example, when you get a good poker hand, RAISE!  There is math to back up what I am sharing, and math to back up why you should raise, but the advantage of a raise allows you to gain information.  If you call, you gain no information, but when you raise, you will gain information about the strength or weakness of your opponents' hands and perhaps a tell or two as well.  

As a new Internet Marketer, one of many of my mistakes was not being aware of the value of information.  You and I can be eyeball-deep in data in seconds and for free.  I am not talking about visitor data, yes that is helpful, but the data that I am referring to is the kind of data that will help you with deciding which niches to invest your time in and which ones to fold.  Surprisingly, they will also improve visitor data such as lowering bounce rate and keywords.  

The kind of information that I am talking about is called Niche Research.  Nowadays there are free tools available that make it easy to do your research, the tools pretty much do all the work.  Every newbie needs to learn and use niche research as soon as possible.

Hey Everyone!  I am George Pierce, I have about 20 years of online marketing experience.  This post is about Facebook, specifically, your need to respond immediately to any kind of FB email that might indicate that someone might be tampering with any of your FB accounts.  I seem to be a 'target' for this kind of activity because I am quite active on FB and have several accounts and many profiles.  The email that you see above is, about one of my accounts.  

Why it is so important that you act immediately is that not too long ago, this same account was hacked and it took me a week or so, along with an uncountable number of hoops that I had to jump through to get things fixed.  In FB's defense, they are trying to keep us safe and they have never failed to come through.  

I believe that I have 54 profiles on the above account.  

Guess What!??

The email above went to SPAM. 

This is not good, but the fact that it went to SPAM, may also help you. 

Yesterday morning, I shared a YT post on FB with the above account using several of its profiles, no problem.  Yesterday evening, however, I was unable to share another post.  I had insufficient permission.  UH OH!

I checked my other FB accounts, and they are working, but this one was not.  I had not received any FB emails, or so I thought, but just in case this was not a glitch, I went to my email provider and typed Facebook into their search box.  

In other words, if you suddenly have problems with your FB account, check your email in case there is an email from FB that you overlooked. 

When I hit search, the above email shows up. Initially, I thought I had overlooked it, but then I realized that it had been in my SPAM folder for several days.  Act immediately is what I am sharing, however, my response was not immediate.

What do you do?

It is easy.  Open the email.  You will see something similar to what you see above.  Click on the box: Report the user and let FB know that it was not you.  

FACEBOOK THANK YOU!

I let FB know, last night, a Saturday night, I reported the user and let FB know that it was NOT ME.  This morning, all is well.  

Conclusion:  If you get an email such as the one above, respond at once.  If you suddenly have difficulty with your FB account, check your email to make sure that your account is not being tampered with.  It may not be a glitch.  Your account may be in jeopardy.

Hello All!  I am George Pierce, this post is about trusting the online process and having faith in your online research. And a little luck.

Above is a snapshot of a thumbnail of a video posted on YT an hour ago.   According to Wikipedia, 

one newspaper's review of this movie was that it was the best English movie ever.  Rotten Tomatoes gives the movie 

such an outstanding rating that I felt it worthy of including it in the thumbnail.

Although there are no guarantees, most of the time, your niche research will serve you well, especially when you include SEO.  

In addition, you will get 'lucky' once in a while as a newbie, and regularly as you gain experience. 

What is this all about? 

This is all about a Faceless Video strategy adaptation that is being used on YT.  It is a way to use already-made videos, 

in this example, vintage movies, and post them on YT.  I will share more about this process in a moment.

There is one thing about this channel that is amazing!   The watch time is over 700 hours in the last 28 days!

Why this matters so much is that WATCH TIME is YouTube's favorite stat.  When your videos get good watch time,

in this case, great watch time, it tells YT that your viewers like or even love your content.  When this happens,

the YT algorithm sends your video out to more and more potential viewers.  

By the way, ALL the views and ALL the watch time above are organic, in other words, they are free.  My adaptation

of the Faceless Video Process is free.  

MY POINT IS:

Watch Time is the main driver for a YT channel.  Great watch time will mean that a channel will get the views that it deserves and 

for free.

My Faceless Video Adaptation:

I am using a three-step process,  The first step is research, the research helps to determine that people are going to be interested in your videos. 

Step two is to access the videos, and upload them to YT,  I recommend and mainly use Public Domain sites, my favorite is Internet Archive.  Step three is to share your videos, once published, to get more exposure. The above snapshot is one of the sites that I suggest using, especially as a new channel, again, to get needed exposure.  There is one more optional step that I include for branding and to help boost likes and subscribers. I have laid out all these steps in detail in a free training video, and again, all your tools and resources are also free. By the way, the process is easy, anyone can do this.

I am George Pierce, and this post is about making money online.  The above snapshot is from an

advanced poker training site, I am in the top four, this is a free site, I am a free member, and I am 

IN THE MONEY!  

What does this have to do with online marketing?  You are about to see.

When I was new to poker, I was so bad.  I hate to admit it, but I had a weekly limit...a limit on how much I could afford to LOSE!  Playing poker (or engaging in any activity) is going to help us learn that activity...but, IMHO, that is not enough.  I read about poker, book after book. I started with books for newbies and eventually worked my way up to advanced.  Over time, poker has been very good to me.  

As an online marketer, I was NOT In The Money, as a newbie.  My journey began due to weight loss.  I had been successful in losing over 25 pounds and keeping it off.  Part of my 'maintenance' plan was to scare myself into keeping the weight off.  Although that may have had little to do with helping me to keep the weight off, I learned a lot about weight loss.  I learned why weight loss does not work for most people, and why it worked for me.  I went online to share what I had learned, hopefully, it would work for others.  

I discovered almost immediately that being online does not get visitors.  No one was visiting my site.  Something was missing and that something was called online marketing or Internet Marketing.

As mentioned, as a newbie, I had learned the first part, to be online and starve.   

So I researched this Internet Marketing stuff.  At first, I was skeptical.  What I discovered was amazing and still amazes me after 20 years.  Internet Marketing allows you and me to find out what people want and then give it to them!!!!   It is called niche marketing, it allows us to determine that there is a DEMAND in niches with little SUPPLY.  This alone is the key to wealth, the key to being IN THE MONEY.  

There is MORE!

There are two financial levers at our disposal, levers that even newbies can use.  We can duplicate our efforts over and over and over again.

In addition to duplication, our efforts have a "residual effect".  Our web pages, posts, videos, landing pages, squeeze pages, sales pages, etc, can make money for us today and tomorrow and the next day and so on.  

Conclusion:

Making money online does work, BUT, if you cannot afford to outsource, and you want to be IN THE MONEY, you are going to need to learn Internet Marketing.  If you are willing to learn, your rewards will exceed your imagination.

Hi All!  I am George Pierce.  In this post, I will be sharing two online marketing tips that I used yesterday.  

They will help you regardless of your niche. 

The first tip is a way that you can use your search box to help you find content that is going to get traffic.

I call it What's Trending.  

My main niche is weight loss, so I type in What Is Trending In Weight Loss.  

For your niche, type in What Is Trending In Your Niche.  

What this will do for you is to help you find articles and videos in your niche with content that people are searching for and are interested in.  Use this as the basis for articles, blogs, posts, videos, etc.  Rewrite or spin the content, NEVER copy and paste. 

What this means is traffic!  And, since your content is in your niche,  this is the kind of traffic that will stay on your site and/or watch your videos.   Your additional benefits can mean subscribers to your list or channel and sales.  

The second Tip is a heads-up about an affiliate network that I have been a member of for at least 15 years as well as a product that you might want to affiliate with.  

The Network is called ShareASale.  They are outstanding!  Whatever kind of product that you might be looking for, ShareASale probably has it.  They have both physical products and digital products, you will find reliable stats to help you make your choices, and SAS runs a tight ship, so you can become an affiliate knowing that you will get paid. 

ShareASale is an affiliate marketing network in Chicago, IL USA, it services two customer sets in affiliate marketing: both the affiliate and the merchant.  If you need products to sell or have products to sell, SAS is for you.  

Affiliates can use ShareASale to find products to promote and earn commission for referrals and sales on those products. You can use them on your website, blog, social media, PPC campaigns, SEO campaigns, RSS, email, video, etc. 

Merchants use ShareASale to implement, track, and manage their affiliate programs.

ShareASale began in 2000 by Brian Littleton, and to date, there are over 16550 merchant programs. ShareASale is primarily targeting small and mid-size merchants. ShareASale is among the largest U.S. affiliate networks in terms of the number of advertisers who are using an affiliate network to manage their affiliate program.  SAS makes it easy to find the kind of merchants and products that you are looking for, most merchants provide you with tools such as links and banners, and it is all FREE!

Above is a snapshot of one of the many merchants that you can affiliate with on SAS.  In weight loss, the number one reason for weight gain is sugary drinks.  It is easy to tell people to stay away, but difficult for most people to cut out or even cut back on sugar-filled soda.  In addition, diet soda has been proven to NOT be a viable option.  Diet soda is worse.  

The above is a viable option.   Each drink is delicious and has just 30 calories.  It is a Win-Win product.  You make a little money and you help your visitors and viewers.   

On weight loss sites, the above product seems to be a no-brainer.

What about other niches?  

The fact that about 42% of Americans are overweight means that in most niches, 42% of your audience can benefit. In other words, this might be worth a test.

Hi All!  I am George Pierce, and this post is about how to handle your online business when things go wrong.  I have recently encountered a snag, actually two snags, with Youtube.  One of the negatives about YT is that, as a YT creator, you are posting on their platform, so building a YT channel is still somewhat like working for someone else. More about that shortly.

I have had numerous sites crash and I have had a couple of sites get hacked.  What I am building up to is that sometimes things happen regarding your online biz that are beyond your control.  

I hope that I am wrong, but I believe that too many of us respond to such events POORLY.  Our reaction may be one such as "Woe is me!" or "Panic!" or "Blame others!", instead of stepping back and remembering that "Business Is Business!"  

The fact is that every experience is one that we can learn from.  Believe it or not, when your online biz (website, YT channel, etc.) comes crashing down, take off your "Woe Is Me" hat, and put on your "Business Owner" hat.  This is a learning experience, so learn all you can!

I was lucky!  My first crash was due to a hacker, my web host came to my rescue...and I learned about the importance of "Back Up"! 

In the case of a website, nowadays, backing up your site regularly is an easy option and one that I urge you to consider.  Over 20+ years, I have only had a couple of hacker experiences, but I have had about a dozen or so WordPress site crashes.  WP offers plenty of backup plugins.  Many are free.  Search for backup in your plugins and install the one that suits you best.  

If your site is hacked, if you are lucky, your old files should be available (mine were).  You may need your host to help you.  Nowadays, most web hosts provide one-click free backup.  Most of us may think, that will never happen to us, or we may not even be aware that our site can crash or get hacked...I was guilty of both.  

A crash is a startling way to learn the value of 'back up', so back up your sites.  Prevention is by far, our best solution.

When it comes to YT, I am still learning.  

Above is a snapshot of one of my YT channels.  The snapshot represents two Community Guidelines strikes,  If you look closely, the link is to VidIQ, a YT partner. 

In defense of YT, they are simply trying to protect their viewers and themselves. If these were legit violations they could be links to harmful sites, infectious sites, or sites with content that violate the Community Guidelines.  These are all good reasons for Community Guideline strikes, and there is an appeal process, so if the strike is a mistake, you can appeal, and once approved, the strike is removed.  

Appeals were submitted, one was approved, one is still pending, and none were removed,  What this means is that if this channel should get another strike, it can be terminated.  When your channel is terminated, you can appeal...BUT...at that point, you do not have access to your channel.  You do not have access to the information that you might need to back up your appeal.

So, this is what I learned so far.  If your channel runs into any kind of issues with YT, take a snapshot of the issue in YT as well as a snapshot of any emails that you have received from YT.  YT will send you emails, but these emails seem to evaporate if your channel gets shut down.  I am learning this the hard way.  

YT has shut down one channel due to 'numerous strikes', it has none. That is all I have so far, I will let you know what happens. 

YT shut down another channel due to four strikes, it had one.  That strike was a real strike, it was a test and the test did not work.  That one strike may (or may not) have created these shutdowns.  By the way, to the best of my knowledge, on YT, it is three strikes and you are out, so four strikes might be enough of a YT error to get YT's attention.   

What I did not do is to purposely take a snapshot to show YT.   I do however have some training snapshots of both channels, I am hoping that I may have taken a snapshot that may back up an appeal.  

If we put ourselves in YT's shoes, probably 99+% of appeals are by channels that are not only guilty of violations, those are only the ones that they were caught doing, YT is not going to be unfair, but proof of innocence seems to me to be the best defense. I learned too late, however, that the proof that I need is not available, once a channel is shut down, you no longer have access.    

The bottom line, take snapshots of any kind of issue.  Even if there are no issues, on other channels, take occasional snapshots showing that your channel is in good standing. YT knows all our channels and all our devices, so protect your channels.   

 I have many YT channels, some going back over 13 years,  so I am concerned that one real strike (as mentioned, it was a real strike), could end up terminating all of them.  I will keep you updated and pass on whatever I learn.

I am George Pierce, this post is about a social media site called Reddit.  I make it a habit of sharing my content on social media sites and Reddit is one of those sites.  Why?  Reddit is the tenth busiest site on the entire web.  It enjoys 1.7 Billion visitors monthly.  The idea of sharing your content is to get more exposure, so high-traffic sites, such as Reddit, can help you get that exposure.  

If you are not familiar with Reddit, it is unique.  

According to Wikipedia:

"Reddit (/ˈrɛdɪt/) is an American social news aggregation, content rating, and discussion website. Registered users (commonly referred to as "Redditors") submit content to the site such as links, text posts, images, and videos, which are then voted up or down by other members."

Reddit is perfect for whatever kind of content that you want to show and...if you post great content on Reddit, the upvote system can help it to go VIRAL.  Reddit can easily generate thousands of visitors and more, overnight. 

Reddit has been good to me, try it, it may be good to you.

Hi All!  I am George Pierce, above is a snapshot of a YT channel that is being built mainly with Public Domain movies. I am using an adaptation of a faceless video strategy which is to grow a YT channel legally using other people's videos.  In this case, Public Domain videos.  

What amazes me about this new channel is that the amount of watch time is insane!  The average watch time per video is over 23 minutes.  The new channel is enjoying almost 600 hours of watch time in the last 28 days.  Even more amazing is that I am doing my best to minimize my efforts. 

My process has three steps, the first is research.  YT is already sharing many of the most-watched old movies as suggested videos which minimizes my time in determining that people are going to be interested in watching my uploads.  I am using a free tool called Tubebuddy, actually, TB is a suite of free tools to help with creating thumbnails and finding tags, and keywords, which also saves time.  YT also makes it easy to share my uploads, once published, YT  creates a pop-up that allows me to spread the word to most social media sites with a single click per site.  

Some channels are spending big monthly fees to accomplish what this new channel is doing for free.

Hello ALL! I am George Pierce, this post is about being what may be called a 'grinder'. 

Urban Dictionary defines a grinder as a sub sandwich, also as

"1. Someone staying on top of their sh*t. (ie. making money, accomplishing goals, getting an education, career, etc.)"

We are all told that we must choose our niche based on what we like or love.  If you want a chance at online or offline success, take this advice seriously.  Theoretically, when you love what you do, your work becomes play.  In addition, you cannot wait to get to your online or offline venture.  There is certainly truth to this statement...

BUT

There will be obstacles and setbacks, and there can also be redundancy.  If you are not a grinder type person, working from home is probably NOT a good choice.  If you are a "grinder', what are you waiting for?!!

Above is a snapshot of one of my recent online adventures that I began this year. I am purposely doing everything for free, to prove this can be done for free. I happen to love vintage media, and I found that others love it as well. I discovered a way I can upload vintage media to YouTube as a way to make money on YT and not have to make videos.  This process is insanely easy and, as you can see, it works.  

The part that they do not tell us, is that even when we engage in something that works, it only works if we WORK. 

In addition, virtually EVERYTHING on the Internet is based on a cumulative effect.  The cumulative effect is a marvelous strategy that you and I can use online, even as newbies.  The catch is that we MUST be consistent, in other words, we must be a 'grinder'.

If you are a grinder, take advantage of it, and consider working from home. 

Being the boss is sweet.

HEY Everyone!  I am George Pierce, and this post is about a YT loophole that you can try to help you with your Faceless Video strategy.  I have only tried this trick twice, so I am a bit reluctant to share it but it has so much potential to help you (and me) accelerate your channel growth. Allow me to let you know about this loophole.  

The loophole is to use snippets, clips, sketches, etc. instead of a full episode or a full video.  

As you may have already discovered, there are some fantastic videos on the Internet Archive, in the Library of Congress, and so on. Often, there is one part of the video that is outstanding, or perhaps we cannot get it published on YT. 

An alternative or loophole is to use a clip from the video.  You will need a video editor to trim the video, outstanding free editors are Clip Champ, an online editor, OpenShot, and ShotCut, downloadable editors are also terrific and free.

As mentioned, this is only my second time using this trick, it has worked so far, however, YT might step in at any time

and decide that one or more of my clips need to be taken down.

What I do not want is for me to have any advantages or tricks when sharing my Facelss Video Training, such as this trick or any other trick.  The idea of me having an advantage is not the issue, the idea is that I want you to be aware of, and have available every advantage that I can find.  I will keep you posted on how well this works or does not work.
