Hi Gals and Guys!

I am George Pierce, I have about 20 years of online experience. At the time I was new. free training was scarce, almost non-existent, and paid training was expensive.  Of course, I started out with the mentality that I did not need training...sort of a 'build it and they will come' attitude.  I soon discovered that I was WRONG!

I actually had two problems, one problem that I knew about (NO TRAFFIC) and another problem that I would painfully discover later.

My STORY:

The initial reason for my online adventure was that I had personal success at losing weight and maintaining my weight loss.  In addition, as a way of trying to scare myself into keeping the weight off, I did a lot of research about weight loss.  Furthermore, I discovered a third ingredient or component of weight loss that no one was sharing.

I got online to share my story and my findings.  And to the best of my knowledge (this is sort of a joke), I built the most 'by God BEAUTIFUL' website that had ever been built...and no one visited it.

So I got to work on generating traffic.  Paid traffic was a disaster, and free traffic was a huge learning experience.  There were already a gazillion ways to generate free traffic and nowadays there are many more gazillion ways.

Once I finally began to generate traffic, I learned about my other painful problem.

12215707669?profile=RESIZE_710x

My gorgeous website was a STINKY website.  It STUNK because of what I did not know such as copywriting.  It was not grabbing attention or keeping attention, the content did not flow, and the call to action was not getting conversions.

Most of my initial online education was trial and error, mostly error.  This is not the way that I recommend, since it is probably the toughest and the longest road, but learning the hard way is still probably the best teacher.

What does all this mean to YOU?

Although there is much to learn, "creating content that converts and generating traffic" ~ once learned, will apply to almost all, if not every online endeavor, such as websites, videos, social media, blogs, etc.

It is a skill that anyone can learn.  I believe that the best way for you to shorten the learning curve is to follow in someone else's footsteps.  Be careful and selective about whose footsteps you follow.  Based on my experience, about one in nine online training opportunities work and one in twenty YT opportunities work.

Two free training sites that are quite helpful are Affiliorama and the Wealthy Affiliate. The free training is excellent.

Conclusion:

If you are considering working online or struggling online, consider learning about Internet Marketing.  Internet Marketing will make a difference, it will help you to fix a stinky site and probably fix a number of problems you were not even aware of.

Thank you for reading.

Much success,

Goerge Pierce

Be Stubborn About Your Online Biz

12213535892?profile=RESIZE_710x

Hi All, I am George Pierce.  This post is about being stubborn.  I believe that stubbornness is a major plus when it comes to an online business.  Stubbornness is a major reason why I refused to quit.  Stubbornness can also create some negatives which I will share shortly.

Based on my experience, I did not just believe that making money online was possible, I KNEW it was possible.  Stubbornness helped me to keep that belief and knowledge, to keep on moving forward, and to not accept quitting as an option.

As a teen, I was taught a lesson which was to "Never change a good mind."  The idea is that when you commit to making money online, then do not change your mind later.  The reasons for your making the decision, initially have probably not changed, so your decision was a good one, then, and still is a good decision now.  So be stubborn and stay stubborn and you will figure things out.

Being stubborn, however, at least in my case, can have its flaws. That is actually the reason for this post.

A little over a month ago, I implemented a strategy of putting more emphasis on longer content.  This strategy was for a vintage media YT channel, Mr. P's Classic Television Fans, longer content, in this case, meant longer videos which meant primarily putting more focus on movies and compilations.  Movies, of course, are longer.  Compilations meant putting together more than one of some kind of vintage content such as commercials, short films, and music.

The reason for longer content was to increase what is called watch time, a measure of how long people watch your videos.  The ultimate goal was and is to get more subscribers, and more watch time sends a signal to YT that people like your content, so YT sends your videos out to more people. which equals more views, along with even more watch time, and all the extra exposure adds up to more subscribers.  Subscribers are up 69% so there is merit in this strategy...BUT...vintage music compilations were a bust.

About 93% of the music was not OK'd by YT.  In addition, it takes time and effort to create a compilation, so music compilations, based on my experience, are NOT RECOMMENDED.

Here is where stubbornness can become a negative!

The following is one of the seven vintage songs that were OK'd by YT, so in an effort to recoup some value, I published this video which has gotten about 100 views in 4 days.

In addition, based on my research, compilations attract more views, as well as gain more watch time.  People like compilations, and giving people what they like is usually an option that is going to benefit everyone concerned.

Due to a 7% YT approval rate and from a business point of view, to continue to go forward with creating a vintage music compilation is NOT a good idea.

You have probably already guessed that I continued anyway.

Due to stubbornness and fortunately instinct (I have over 20 years of experience), I continued to invest time that I possibly should have invested elsewhere.  I created a music compilation.

It might get a zillion views, it might not, but I feel that I have to find out.

*****Video removed by Moderator*****

If the video does well. then the extra time and effort may be worth it.  If it does not, I will still benefit by knowing that music compilations are not a good option.  For the moment, I am going to go with not recommending this kind of compilation.

Hopefully, I am wrong.  If so, I will let you know.

Thank you for reading.

Much success,

George Pierce

Make Snowballs, Make MONEY Online!??

12212772699?profile=RESIZE_584x

Hi All.  I am George Pierce, in this post, I will be sharing how snowballs will make you rich.

There are two powerful money-making levers that the Internet offers that create wealth.

The following will explain.  It is a copy of a video script that will be published soon.  My

intent is that the message that is enclosed may make a difference in your online adventure,

and perhaps, change your life.

We are going to look at two unique aspects of making money online. These are two important financial levers that are not available with a regular J. O. B. One lever is called the cumulative effect, the other is called the snowball effect, In this video, you are going to see that making money online can have a happy ending.

The only way that your online adventure can have an unhappy ending, the only way to fail at making money online is to quit. Whether you are making money online, as an affiliate marketer, a blogger, an email marketer, a YouTuber, a social media influencer, and so on, the secret to your success is to persist.

When you persist, when you apply consistent action, on the Internet, each action, has a cumulative effect. what this means is that your online business grows. Your affiliate marketing base expands, your blog grows, your email list grows, your YouTube channel grows, your social media base grows, and so on. Each day your business moves forward, each day is a day that your efforts accumulate.

The cumulative effect has staggering possibilities, so why would anyone ever want to quit?

Newbies fail to see. Newbies are blind.

They do not see the fact that they are learning and growing. Most newbies compound this lack of insight, by failing to see the growth that is happening with their business.

Most newbies focus on money. Believe it or not, that is wrong. In fact, their focus on money adds to their blindness.
To most newbies, no money, little money, or not as much money as expected, means that their online business is failing. Therefore, they fail to see the progress that is being made. Progress that is not measured in dollars and cents, but real progress, nevertheless.

What most newbies fail to see is the fact that their efforts are accumulating. Of course, some newbies are not aware that online ventures provide this awesome effect.

Now that you are aware of this phenomenal effect, let's say that you decide to apply consistent effort. realizing that growth is not always going to be obvious, especially when your online adventure is new.

When you are willing to hang in there, something amazing is about to happen. That amazing something is called the snowball effect. Just as a snowball gets bigger and bigger as it rolls downhill, so will your online business.

You will find examples of this all over the Internet, such as huge websites, red hot blogs, gigantic YouTube channels, and so on. When you are a newbie, however, wrapping your head around millions of visits, millions of views, or millions in revenue, may be almost impossible, and therefore almost unrelatable.

Allow me to show you an example where the cumulative effect is still in its infancy and the snowballs are still very tiny.

HOWEVER, THEY ARE VERY REAL!

12212774699?profile=RESIZE_710x

This is a snapshot of a YT channel as of August 20th. The channel was started in the middle of January, so it was just over 7 months old. By the way, all the views for this channel are organic, in other words, they are all free. The channel's monthly rate of growth as of the 20th was about 1,280 views...That means that the channel should hit about 10,280 views in the next month, It should hit 10,000 views in about 23 days.

The channel's watch time growth has been about 110 hours per month, so in about a month, the channel should have about 895 hours of watch time.

What you are seeing now is a snapshot of the channel, seven days later, not a month later, 7 days later.

12212775082?profile=RESIZE_710x

The channel was due to hit 10K views in 23 days, it took 7 days. The channel was due to hit 895 hours of watch time in a month, it hit over 923 hours in 7 days.

What is happening is that the snowball effect is starting to kick in.

Making money online is real, it can be done, and it will exceed your imagination...UNLESS YOU QUIT.

Thank you for reading.

Much success,

George Pierce

The Dumbest Approach To SEO!

12212112468?profile=RESIZE_710x

Hi All,

I am George Pierce, I have had very good luck with what is called SEO for well over 15 years.  SEO is short for Search Engine Optimization.  I originally thought that SEO was going to be way over my head, and I believe that a lot of newbies may feel the same.  so my approach to SEO was the absolute dumbest approach.

I ignored it, and I avoided it.

You can probably guess how well that worked.

Right from the very beginning, I knew that SEO could help my efforts because it was a way to generate traffic.  I later found out that the traffic that SEO generates is what is called organic traffic.  This is the kind of traffic that comes from people typing keywords into their search box that match your content, more specifically that match the keywords you select that describe your content.  I am not an SEO expert, but I have discovered a few tricks that help me and can help you to better compete.

12212115499?profile=RESIZE_710x

One of my tricks is the use of a free SEO tool called Keyword Explorer by TubeBuddy and a free tool called Ubersuggest.  They are both free Chrome extensions and the best part is that the tools will do all the work.   By that, I mean that these tools balance the amount of search and the competition and the keyword strength, the result is an 'overall score' or 'search difficulty'.  The higher the score the better with Keyword Explorer, and the lower the better with Ubersuggest.

The other trick, if you even want to call it that, is to THINK.  Take a moment, put yourself in your prospective visitors' or viewers' shoes, and think about what words would you use.

As you see above, the Overall Score for the keywords "h r puff n stuff" is Excellent.  I recommend shooting for words that score in the green.  In both examples, I am using YouTube Search, and in the top example, which is actually the correct spelling, my video is #1 and #2 in the second example.  The benefit of coming in at or near the top of a YouTube search is that your video is going to be seen!

Does this really help you?

12212122678?profile=RESIZE_710x

YES!

So far, this video has generated 1K views and is gaining momentum.  Over time, this one video will mean many thousands of views.

If you are growing a YT channel, or if you are using videos to drive traffic, video SEO will mean more views, and either way, that is what you want.

Thank you for reading.

Much Success,

George Pierce

PS. What you see above are examples of a video marketing strategy that I am using.  There is no need to make videos and there is no cost.

The strategy is a three-step adaptation of a Faceless Video strategy which means making money on YouTube but not having to make videos.

If you are interested in making money online, you will be surprised at how easy this is.  I invite you to watch my Faceless Video Training.

List Of 50s Songs That Should Be OK On YT

12202149062?profile=RESIZE_710x

Hi All!  I am George Pierce.  I have been sharing my latest new adventure (making money on YT)

on YT and on SE.  My new adventure is an adaptation of a Faceless Video strategy which is to download

vintage media from a Public Domain site, Internet Archive, and upload it to YT.  The downloading and uploading is the

second step in the process, the first is to do a little research to make sure that people are interested in

whatever media that you are considering, and the third is to share your new upload on social media sites.

I have created a video with step-by-step Faceless Video Training and I invite you to watch if you are not familiar with

what I am doing, it might be a good fit for you if you want to make money on YouTube with making videos or spending

money.

*****Video removed by Moderator*****

On my first music compilation, 7 out of over 70 songs were approved, this was one.  Music is from Internet Archive, Video is from Mixkit.

If you are using my strategy or considering using it, in an SE post that I made a little over a month ago, I shared that

I was using longer videos as a way to boost watch time which YT likes, so it sends out videos to more viewers, which

ultimately means more subscribers.  It is working, but I found a flaw, and this post is, sort of, a fix.

Posting longer videos on a vintage media channel means movies and compilations.  The movies are working great.

Most compilations are working well, but MUSIC compilations have been a disaster.

I do not recommend music compilations...but... if some of you are stubborn ( I sure am), I will be sharing a list

of songs that should get approved.  There are about 107 songs on the list and with a less than 10% approval rate.

this list took some effort.

I am rooting for you, so the following is the fruit of my music compilation labor.

The Problem With Goals!??

12200607888?profile=RESIZE_584x

Hi Everyone.  I am George Pierce and the reason for this post is that I am excited about hitting a short-term goal today, The goal was on my new YT channel, it was 9.0K views in 28 days.  That is only about 321 views a day, a little over 13 views an hour.  Believe it or not, one of my long-term goals is 5K views per hour and another is 10K.

Goals are great, they can help us to keep focused, they can help us to keep motivated, and to renew our motivation when they are achieved.

The problem with goals!??

Goals can also present us with what seems to be an insurmountable obstacle.  Goals can be a constant reminder that we are not succeeding, a constant reminder that we are failing.  The real problem is NOT our goals, however.

12200619458?profile=RESIZE_710x

When goals seem to be a problem, the real problem lies with us.

#1: The problem might be with the way we are going about setting our goals.  Long-term goals are essential, but long-term goals only will probably seem daunting after a while.  This means that we also need short-term goals.   I suggest that you make short-term goals that you can achieve in a matter of days or weeks, certainly within a month.  Goals have a very positive effect on us, but when goals are unmet for too long a period, they can become negatives (problems).  Even though they are not the problem, if we perceive them negatively rather than positively, they become negative.

So set short-term goals that you can achieve in a short time, such as a month or less.  When you achieve them, make new ones.

#2" We are not doing our part.  If we set a realistic short-term goal and we fail to achieve it, the problem is going to lie with us. There may be some thing or things that we are not doing or that we are doing wrong and good short-term goals will help us to realize that we need to figure out why we are not going forward as planned, so we can fix it.

12200625866?profile=RESIZE_710x

Above are snapshots from today of my latest online adventure.  It is a way to make money on YouTube without making videos.  I share my Faceless Video strategy and exactly how I am using it in a step-by-step training video.  No skills are needed, there is no need to make a video or be on camera or even do a voice-over, and your cost is ZERO.  If making money online interests you, watch my Faceless Video Training video.

Now that I have hit my goal, I need to take my own advice and come up with another short-term goal that I can achieve in about 30 days.  I will give it a little thought...and I will do one more thing.

I will look at the last few months (on YT that will be 28 days and 90 days, which is how they present their stats).  My point is that I will look at recent previous stats and previous performance.  A problem that we can have with setting realistic short-term goals is that we set them with our hearts and not our brains.  It is easy to check your recent stats, so allow them to help you to create goals, short-term and long-term, that will help you and your online adventure.

Thank you for reading.

Much Success,

George Pierce

PS. H R Pufnstuf has come to life and when something works, do more of it.  The middle snapshot shows that the next H R Pufnstuf video " The Magic Path" that was uploaded today is on page one, the third spot of YT search, for the episode The Magic Path.  This is all done with Tubebuddy which is free and I cover all this and more in my Faceless Video training video.

QUICK, Easy, Proven Traffic Trick

12200273258?profile=RESIZE_400x

Hi ALL!  I am George Pierce.  This post is a proven method to help you to come up with a quick and easy way to generate free traffic.  If you have tried to use social media for traffic and had little to no success, please stay with me.

You can use what you are about to see on social media, and it will work.

The strategy is to post a quote followed by a blurb about your site or page or blog or channel or offer and a link.  I prefer to add an image.

You can get images for free from sites such as Pixabay and Pexels.  You can get quotes using your search box. If you want to get a little creative, match your images and your quotes to the content on your site, blog, channel, etc.

Here are a couple of examples:

To recap:  Image, Quote, blurb, link...

BUT WAIT!

Take a snapshot of your ad, post your snapshot, and embed your link! It is that easy, it is that quick.

Legally, I cannot make any promises, but my experience is that this works and it works immediately!

As mentioned and as you may have noticed:

The content of the ad matches the content of the site, optional, but recommended.

The ads include HUMOR.  This is also optional but even more strongly recommended.  Humor works wonders, try it.

Viral Marketing Vs. Turtle Marketing

12199493298?profile=RESIZE_710x

HELLO!  I am George Pierce, this post is about helping you to understand the viral nature of the Internet, how that virality is almost a scam, and how to be a successful Turtle Marketer.

When something goes viral, it suddenly gets millions of visitors or millions of views, almost overnight.  We have all seen this happen, but every time it happens, no one seems to be able to explain why, and no one seems to be able to figure it out.

So although an overnight traffic explosion is possible, a slow and steady approach online is what works.  I call it "TURTLE MARKETING".

You can think of Turtle Marketing as Viral Marketing in sloooow motion. Turtle Marketing relies on the cumulative nature of the Internet.  Your actions will accumulate, sort of like adding bricks to a brick wall.  In fact, your efforts will eventually snowball.  In my case, it took about 18 months for me to benefit from the snowball effect (the first time was to create a 1M+ member site), but that was AFTER about 3 1/2 years of experience.

So which sounds better?  Online success in 5 years?   Or...    Online success overnight?

We all want overnight, even though we know it is not likely going to happen.  So it is kind of easy to fall prey to a viral marketing mindset and viral marketing opportunities.  Even when things are legit, we end up pressing the wrong buttons, or we pay someone else to press the wrong buttons.

12199498663?profile=RESIZE_710x

WRONG BUTTONS?

Above is a snapshot of my most recent online adventure which is to grow a YT channel built around vintage media, all for free.

I share this for two reasons.  The first is so you can see that I  am actually involved in what I am sharing.

The second is to help you see how easy it is to push the wrong buttons.

When you are engaged in an online venture such as a website or YT channel, you are probably thinking that it is all about visits and email subscribers, or on YT, it is all about more views and channel subscribers.   Although you are not wrong, how you go about getting more visits and views is what matters.

In my humble opinion, the LAST thing you want to do is to pay for visits, views, and subs; especially as a newbie.

Believe it or not, paying for views at this point in my new channel growth will HURT the channel.  The same is true for a website.  Why?  We would accidentally be pushing the wrong button.

Even if our paid methods are white hat, our paid traffic is like a pump.  It only flows while we are paying.  Using the example above, let's say our goal is 1K subs...a very typical goal for YTers since 1K subs and 4K hours of watch time in a year are needed to become a YT partner, in other words, to start getting paid.

A common legit paid method for growing your channel views and subscribers is exposure, massive exposure, on social media sites.  This works, it does work, but it is not only the wrong button, it hurts your channel.

When your channel gets to 1K subs and 4K hours of watch time, you stop your advertising campaign, and what happens is that most of your traffic stops.

UH OH!

Paid traffic is like a faucet, when payment stops, the faucet gets shut off.  Your 4K hours of watch time may suddenly be in jeopardy, and if you lose any subs, which happens, your 1K subs may be in jeopardy.

Exposure is good, although massive exposure seems good...it falls into that viral (overnight) mindset, which is not so good.  Free massive exposure is also hitting the wrong button, you will not be able to maintain massive exposure and free exposure is great, but too much can take away time from the button that really needs to be pressed.

CONTENT.

Content is the button to press.

A couple of options that might help is to create longer content...web pages and blog articles with over 2K words or videos that have longer run time.

When all the dust settles, your visitors or your viewers are interested in your content.  Your content is what is going to attract them to your site or channel, your content is what is going to keep them coming back.  Longer quality content has more perceived value, and more real value, a nice plus for your audience, and it means that visitors and viewers stay longer.  The longer they stay, the more likely they are to return, as well as trust your site or channel, which can mean more click-throughs, and more subscribers to your email list or channel.

12199756273?profile=RESIZE_710x

2 longer videos (movies) above have over 30 hours of watch time.  Longer content means visitors and viewers stay longer, exactly what search engines want.

The best part is that this is exactly what the search engines are looking for.  It sends an important signal that people like your content!  Your content may not go viral, but there is a small viral effect that will help your site or channel.  Since the search engines see that people like your content, they are more likely to send you more visitors or more viewers.  More viewers means even more watch time which can mean even more viewers and so on.

The button to push, the right button, the one that will help you the most is content.  Quality content. Longer content.

Thank you for reading.

Much success,

George Pierce

Easiest Way To Make Money Online Update

12198571668?profile=RESIZE_710x

Hi Everyone!  I am George Pierce, this post is an update of what I believe is the easiest way to make money online which is an adaptation of the Faceless Video Strategy.  It is a way to make money on YouTube without making videos.  It is simple, it does not require any skills, and there is no cost.  It is a strategy that I am using and sharing.  I will talk more about the strategy later.

If you are using my strategy, or considering my strategy, allow me to wish you much success, and to share these updates.

Longer Videos and Compilations

A little over a month ago, my vintage media channel hit 100 subscribers.  At that time, I shared in a post on Syndication Express that I wanted to get more subscribers.  My main strategy was to focus on getting more watch time.  More watch time sends a strong signal to YT that viewers like my content, and the result is that YT is more likely to share my videos.  This means more views, even more watch time, and ultimately more subs.

In order to get more watch time, I used Longer Videos and created Compilations.  In my case, longer videos were easy, it meant that I should upload more movies. Movies have been a big success.  Compilations, not so much.

What I found is that YT shot down most of my music compilations after publishing. YT will approve your video if there are no copyright issues. YT is not the villain, they are simply doing their job as well as protecting you and me from copyright issues, but soon after OKing the video, about 93% of the vintage songs ended up getting blocked, which means that these compilations cannot be seen until about 93 out of every 100 songs are removed.

Compilations of old TV commercials have worked well.  Again, Movies have been a huge plus.

As you see above, watch time has more than doubled and views are up about 60%.

In addition, as you can also see above, the Blockbusters Game Show got 7 views BEFORE I got to watch it or share it, which means that YT is beginning to favor my content, at least, a little...  As mentioned, a benefit of more watch time.

BONUS

Based on my research, if you want to follow my Faceless Video adaptation, you may want to consider creating a channel based on:

Game Shows

Kids TV

Movies

People LOVE these three categories.  I do not have enough data yet, but Movies might end up being my top recommendation.

Thank you for reading.

Much Success,

George Pierce

PS.  My personal adaptation of the Faceless Video strategy is to download vintage media from Internet Archive, a public domain site, and then upload that media to YT.  The downloading and uploading is the second step in my process.  The first step is to do a little simple research to make sure that people are going to be interested in whatever vintage media that I am considering, the third step is to share the video with social media sites for more exposure.

If you would like to take a look at exactly what I am doing, step-by-step, click here to watch my free training.

If you want to make money online, be BACKWARD

12189839654?profile=RESIZE_710x

Hello!  I am George Pierce, I have about 20 years of online experience.  This post is about how you can get search engines to send traffic to your website or your channel for free.  There are many ways to get free traffic, in this post, we will focus on using KEYWORDS.  This kind of strategy comes under what is called SEO which is short for Search Engine Optimization.

20 years ago, as a newbie Internet Marketer, I was clueless, so I purchased an ebook about Internet Marketing.  It was very helpful, but then I came to a chapter about SEO.  It scared me to the point that I considered quitting...for me, quitting is not an option and not something that I ever consider...so that is how much SEO scared me.

I share this because I want to assure you that SEO is not something that you need to be intimidated by.

Understanding SEO is not difficult and using SEO is easy.

The following is based on my personal SEO experience, my SEO successes, and my SEO failures.  I do not claim to be an SEO expert, but I have been able to use SEO for lots of free traffic.  I intend that what follows will help you.

The search engines are doing their best to provide you and me with the best content relative to our search and/or our online history.  The two major search engines are Google and YouTube, however, if you can get one search engine to take notice of your content, and we are going to say that your content is 'good content', the rest will follow.

The search engines are looking for good content, so we need to provide good content

12189853291?profile=RESIZE_710x

But why would search engines send traffic to a new website or a new channel when there are a gazillion websites and channels that have already proven that they produce good content?

The fact is that search engines are going to favor established content creators and they should.

So...   Can we compete?  And how do we compete?

Yes, we can compete!  Here is how.

KEYWORDS

There is more to SEO than keywords, but keywords are still one of the most important ways of generating free traffic.  Keywords help you to tell the search engines what your content is all about.

But...here is what most of us do.  We create good content or great content, and after we have created our masterpiece, we tackle SEO.  After we create, we find the appropriate keywords and sprinkle them into our content, and into our meta section.  This is wrong.  What this means is that our SEO does not work...I have been there...and, of course, it is not our fault.

I rationalized that search engines are not going to send traffic to new sites and new channels, so that is why SEO is not going to work.

The truth is that keywords do work, even for newbies.

12189893690?profile=RESIZE_710x

BACKWARD

The secret is that we need to create our content 'backward'.

We need to start with our keywords. We need to find our keywords and then build our content around them.  All of a sudden, you are not stuffing your content and meta section with keywords, and the search engines will see that.  Your content is built around your keywords, and all fit together well.

When you choose your keywords, look for keywords that have good search volume with low competition.  For help with finding the best keywords for free, click here to watch this video.

This backward creation seems to apply to just about everything that you or I might create on the Internet.  This simple trick works on content creation of any kind including videos.

It also works for emails, sales pages, sales videos, and landing pages, except that you build your pages and videos around your call to action.

SUMMARY

If you want to make money online, be BACKWARD!

Thank you for reading.

Much Success,

George Pierce

Stop Creating, Start MARKETING!

12189157079?profile=RESIZE_710xHi ALL!  I am George Pierce with about 20 years of online experience.  This post is about how to spend more time marketing and spend less time creating.  Most content creators are using AI as a way to reduce creation time.

I am in favor of AI, but I also know that a "personal touch" is important.  AI, of course, takes away the personal touch.

I believe that I have discovered a way to help add at least a bit more of a personal touch to our content.

I have sort of accidentally been using marketing strategies to help with marketing and branding and uniqueness, which have added that personal touch, yet my content creation time is almost zero.  Allow me to explain.

 SANDWICH!???

For website content, I use AI, specifically, Spin Rewriter, to rewrite articles.  To make them more appealing and more personal, I often SANDWICH the rewritten article between an intro and an outro and add relative images.  I pay particular attention to the top image, which is a part of my intro.  It needs to help the article to connect with visitors,  a good connection means visitors stay.

For training video content, I often use AI, Spin Rewriter to rewrite the content and Create Studio for text-to-speech, also SANDWICHING the content between an intro and an outro.  The intro is for branding, the outro is a CTA for likes and subscribers.  Both the intro and outro add a personal touch.

For my classic media website, I use content that is already created, but unlike almost all the other similar channels, I add an intro and outro.

My original intent was to reduce bounce rates on websites and on YT, to help viewers remember my channel as well as to like and subscribe.  Inadvertently, there is the additional benefit of being unique, as well as a sense of a personal touch.

12189242494?profile=RESIZE_710x

The above snapshots are from one of my YT channels.  It is a channel that uses already-made videos such as old TV shows, old movies, old cartoons, and so on for its content. What makes it different is that, as mentioned, the videos are sandwiched between an already-made intro and an outro.

Allow me to share two more tricks that will help you.

SHARING

Almost every piece of content that is put on the Internet, be it an article or a video, is SHARED on social media sites such as Syndication Express. Facebook. Twitter, Reddit, Tumblr, and so on.  The sharing, however, includes interaction.  Interact in a real and sincere way, such as commenting, liking, sharing other content, responding to comments, and responding to questions. My intent is to get more and more exposure.  The more exposure, the more visits or views.  The hidden benefit is that this interaction adds a personal touch.

When sharing, may I suggest that you share with a mindset that you want to make friends.  I believe you will be very pleasantly surprised at your results, as well as make some new friends.

In addition, use the same approach regarding comments on your posts or on your videos.

LONGER CONTENT

Regarding articles, search engines favor articles that are more than 2K words long.  So... create articles that exceed 2K words. Regarding videos, longer videos are more likely to get more watch time.  More watch time is a powerful indicator, YT interprets more watch time as meaning that people like or love your videos.  This means that YT is more likely to share your videos with more people, which means more views, and ultimately more subscribers.

Longer content takes almost the same amount of time to create (using the above methods) but will mean more visitors or more views.

*****Video removed by Moderator*****

I invite you to check out the intro and the outro...and, perhaps, the movie in between.

When it comes to finding content for articles, a free tool called Ubersuggest, a free Chrome extension,

can help you to find content that people are interested in.  In other words, content that lots of people are reading

is a good indicator and Ubersugget will also help you to find keywords that have good search volume with less competition.

When it comes to videos, Keyword Explorer from TubeBuddy is my favorite tool, it is free. With videos, YT search will show you

how popular a video is, TB will help with keywords.

Thank you for reading.

Much success,

George Pierce

PS. If you would like to see how I am using pre-made vintage videos to grow a YT channel, I am using a simple and free three-step process and I share the process step-by-step.  Click here to see if it might work for you.

Rejected!

12188434486?profile=RESIZE_710x

Hi Gals and Guys!  I am George Pierce, I have about 20 years of online experience, and this post is an update about my Faceless Video strategy for making money on YouTube without making videos.  I want you to be aware of the good and the bad.  There is a tremendous amount of good, if you are following my SE posts, or using my strategy, you are already aware.

Let's not call what I am about to share as bad, let's say it is simply an obstacle that you might run into and one that I want you to be aware of.

Not every video is going to get published!

Part of my overall video process is to make sure that videos that I am considering uploading to YT are getting views, and also that those videos are going to get published.

Above is an example of a situation where there are many videos that are already on YT, in many cases for years, the longest that I found was 12 years.  So, this should mean that YT will not have issues with the video.

Unfortunately, it does.

Not every video is going to get approved by YT.

Next is an example of a video that is Public Domain Mark 1.0

12188438069?profile=RESIZE_710x

Public Domain means that there are NO copyright claims against this video.

As you can see, it is still rejected.

In YT's defense, there can be "other" copyright " issues, privacy issues, ownership issues, authorship issues, and so on.  I am not a copyright expert, but I want you to understand that even though a video is Creative Commons or Public Domain, it still might get turned down by YT.

When this happens, and it will, do NOT blame YT.  YT is doing its job and ultimately YT is protecting our backside.

Neither you nor I want to publish a video illegally, so, although a rejection might be deflating, please remember that YT is protecting themselves and us, as well.

Most of the time...

When a video is Public Domain or Creative Commons, it will get OK'd by YT.

When you see that a video has previously been OK'd by YT, it will get approved by YT.

A small amount of the time...

YT will say REJECTED.

They are just doing their job, so delete the video, forget about it, and continue on your path.

Thank you for reading.

Much Success,

George Pierce

Walk The Walk

12132039053?profile=RESIZE_584x

Hi ALL!  I am George Pierce, I have about 20 years of online experience.  This post is about your focus on learning from those that walk the walk.  Based on my personal experience, about one in nine websites are going to be of help to you, and about one in twenty-one YT videos are going to be of help.  What is happening is that if you are aspiring to make money online, your search for help and training, and guidance, may not end well.

On the positive side, there is a trick that can help you.

Are they walking the walk?

The snapshot above is from a month ago, the one below is from today.

12188218861?profile=RESIZE_710x

The above snapshots are from a new online adventure that is beginning to get traction.

My point, however, is that there are many more websites and YT channels that are going to help to separate you from your money, rather than help you to make money, especially on YT.

Once you gain experience, it will get easier and easier to know what is good from what is not.  When you are new, however, you are a target, a huge target, so keep 'walk the walk' in mind.

Some of the things to look out for:

I just found out about this, this is new, here is something that I recently discovered.

People that do not do!??

If you are prepared to learn how to make money, I strongly suggest that you avoid the people that do NOT do, and find the ones that do.

A major benefit of your learning how to make money online as fast as possible from someone that has experience is that you can follow in their footsteps.

If they are not walking the walk, there are no footsteps.

Thank you for reading.

Much success,

George Pierce

Have Faith In Your Research!

12185379457?profile=RESIZE_710x

Hi All!  I am George Pierce, this post is about putting faith in your research. Above is an example of what most of us want to happen with our online ventures.  Unfortunately, we are often expecting results almost overnight.

An advantage of working online is that results, at least, data can be observed almost immediately.

This is great, sort of.  HUH?

When you are new, your data often shows that your results are minimal.  My first profitable website took several weeks to make any money at all, and I had already had months of learning and pitifully poor marketing and goober after goober for results.  But you have it better than I did.  Information and training in almost every area of online marketing are now readily available and often for free.  And research, especially preliminary research which often comes under the umbrella of niche marketing was still in its infancy.

Today, you get to research your market and then decide if you should proceed.  Once you decide, do not change your mind.  Have faith in your research.

Above is an example of a video that showed up in my research for a Vintage Media YT channel.  On the above channel alone, this quirky and amazing video has had over 500,000 views per year.  Not bad for a video that is over 120 years of age.  The average earnings on the YT partner program is about $4 per thousand.  This relates to over $10,000 over the past 5 years.

12185374465?profile=RESIZE_710xAbove is a snapshot of the video which was uploaded to my vintage media YT channel.  The video hit 7 views in its first hour. Even at that rate, this video can earn about $20 a month.  This may not sound like much, but at 11 hours a week, I can upload at least 2 videos a day, 60 videos a month, so small numbers can add up.

Of course, the potential for this one little video is over $160 per month.

The bottom line is to do your research and then stick to it.

Thank you for reading.

Much success,

George Pierce

Hi Everyone!  I am George Pierce.  This post is about choosing a name for your website or channel name. Some of the things about choosing your name that may seem obvious to someone with experience are not always obvious to a newbie.  My first website and URL was The Place To Be Is Here.  That is about the worst name that I could have chosen, but I did not know better.

If I had known, I would have chosen a name that describes my site, such as Internet Marketer Training Center or Win At Losing Weight, or Cooking Made Easy.  The above is a result of a keyword search with the idea of choosing a  new YT channel name.

Keyword Research?

You can use TubeBuddy which is what I am using or you can use Ubersuggest to do keyword research regarding the name or names that you have in mind. Both are free.  You want your name to help your site or channel regarding SEO which is short for Search Engine Optimization.  Including keywords in your name and in your URL, that score well in search will help your site or channel with SEO.

12184846065?profile=RESIZE_710x

Scoring well in search is usually NOT finding words with high search, it is finding keywords with good search and LOW or LOWER competition.  So far, the keywords, movie classics have a little more search than classic movies with about 1/10 of the competition.

Another keyword example is old movies,  which would describe the channel, has less search and more competition than classic movies. so "movie classics" is looking best, but we are not there yet.

Not everyone teaches this, but I strongly suggest that you make your name unique.

Here is WHY!

12184853096?profile=RESIZE_710x

When you are brand new, you may not be thinking about later, but when people search for your website or channel, are they going to find it?

The answer is often NO!

If you or I pick movie classics as our name, our site is going to be difficult to impossible to find.  If we make it unique, such as adding "Mr. P's", look what happens!  (see above)

The WHOLE page is full, they are going to find us!  And it is going to be easy and it is going to be immediate. Being found easy and immediately is essential, so I strongly recommend that you make your name unique.

It is not official yet, but I will be adding a new YT channel soon, it will probably be called Mr. P's Movie Classics.  I will be downloading movie classics from a free Public Domain site called Internet Archive and uploading the movies to the new YT channel. I will be adding just a little bit of research to make sure that people are interested in my uploads and then I will be sharing the videos with social media platforms to gain more exposure.

If you would like to look at what I believe is one of the easiest ways to make money online, I invite you to watch a training video that breaks this Faceless Video process down into three easy steps that anyone can follow.  There is no need to make any videos or spend any money. Much success,

George Pierce

More Than Double Growth On YouTube

12183677055?profile=RESIZE_584x

Hi Everyone!  I am George Pierce.  I have about 20 years of experience online.  In this post, I will be sharing one of the strategies that I am using to speed up channel growth on YouTube along with proof.  Below is a snapshot from my latest online adventure which is to grow a YT channel without making a video and without spending money.  I will share more about this process later, but first, allow me to share that a couple of weeks ago, I added a new strategy to my YT channel.

12183649066?profile=RESIZE_584x

Not everything that I try online works, but my research and my online intuition helped me to decide to put this strategy in play.  As you can see in the snapshot above, it is working!

The strategy is "COMPILATIONS".  A couple of weeks ago, I mentioned in a Syndication Express post that viewers seemed to be more attracted to compilations, in other words, my research showed that compilations get more views, as well as more watch time and ultimately, more subscribers.

My channel is a vintage media channel, so a vintage music compilation or vintage commercial compilation are examples of what I have been trying.

There are other compilation videos that my videos will compete with, so I try to make my videos different.

One of my compilations was a vintage commercial compilation with all celebrities, for example.  The above is different, in that there are over 25 commercials.

I share this because no one else seems to be teaching this and the idea of a compilation should benefit almost any channel.

With just a little ingenuity, you should be able to come up with a compilation video.  Such as 6 ways to...  lose weight, prepare a meal in minutes, make money, get a date, etc.

I talk about proof and the numbers above are validation, but the video above and the one below are also proof.  I am doing what I share and then sharing the results of what I do.

(some of the songs in the above video have been blocked by YT, not by copyright but YT, technically they cannot do that, so I am working on getting this fixed)

The Coke commercial video took almost no time to create.  The music video took about an hour, and that was my choice I want it to be different and hopefully better than the competition.  So I turned it into a "Dance Party" and added a lot of dance videos to the music.  The dance videos were all free from Mixkit.

Speaking of FREE.  All the traffic is free organic traffic.  I have spent $28.40 on a TubeBuddy upgrade to Pro, which is optional.  I am spending about 11 hours a week on this.  There is usually no video creation involved.  If you want to follow what I am doing, a little bit of your time will be spent on research and then on sharing or promoting your videos for free for more exposure and more views.   If you want to check out my video strategy, I invite you to click here.

I invite you to take a peek at the videos, so you can get an idea as to how easy this is and hopefully an idea as to how you can adapt this strategy for yourself.

The compilation strategy heps you to give viewers what they want, and can help you to set your channel apart.

Thank you for reading.

Much success,

George Pierce

PS.  Use the word "Compilation" in your title, in your tags, and in your description.

PPS.  With music compilation, it seems the longer the better.

Keeping It Gruesome!??

12178485099?profile=RESIZE_710x

Hi All!  I am George Pierce, and this post is a reminder to give your visitors, your readers, your viewers, your subscribers, your followers, etc., what they want.  We are all prone to make one of two mistakes.  We provide our audience with what we THINK they want, or with what we want.

And a mistake that I make on purpose, again and again, is to provide people with what they need or what I believe they need.  I have an IM Training site and an IM Training channel, and that is a mistake that I make on purpose.

BUT...

If you want your online audience to grow, you have to give your audience what they want.

The process of figuring out what they want is easy and free.  Google Search and YT search will tell you what you want to know.  You can back up your searches with free tools such as Ubersuggest and TubeBuddy to help you with keywords and SEO.

I share this because I have had to push my personal preferences aside more than once, and sometimes it is not easy.

In my case, two sort of gruesome examples are the Challenger Disaster and the Richard Speck murders.  (These are a couple of several videos that I was reluctant to publish on my classic television YT channel).

The Challenger Disaster marked one of the saddest days in US, history,  In addition, the flight was being watched in many classrooms

across the nation.

The Richard Speck murders were one of the worst crimes of all time and were put on Time Magazone's list of Crimes Of The Century.

You can choose not to provide your audience with what they want, and so can I. Let's say that you or I chose not to publish what we might consider to be not fit to publish.  Although that might be OK, be careful.  Do not play censor.

As bad as we might think this content is, there may be some redeeming benefits.

So we owe it to our audience to provide them with what they want.

Thank you for reading.

Much success,

George Pierce

HELLO!   George Pierce, here with exciting news.  I have been learning online marketing for about 20 years, I discovered a gazillion things that do not work, and a few that do work.  I do my best to share what I do as a way of giving back.  This post is about a thrilling discovery involving my latest online adventure which is an adaptation of a Faceless Video strategy that I am using on YouTube.

I have several YT channels, but up until about six months ago, one was a training channel and the rest are used to drive traffic to websites, web pages, squeeze pages, review sites, etc,  What this means is that I was not a YouTuber, rather an online marketer that used the power of YT for generating traffic.

So my recent adventure has actually been an adventure and a fun learning experience filled with discoveries.  What seems to be happening with my new channel is that lately, it seems to be behaving more like a website than a YT channel!

Allow me to explain what I mean and why that is so exciting.

YT is essentially an online social platform, and it often behaves like one.  When you make a post on a social platform, it usually gets some immediate results that often dwindle over a short period of time.  On YT, based on my research and opinion, most new videos get initial views which soon dwindle.

What you see above tells a different story.  The above stats are from a video that is what I call a sleeper.  It took about 2 months to WAKE UP.  What you are seeing is quite typical of a content marketing website that relies on organic traffic from SEO, and it is NOT typical of most YT videos.  Upon reflection, most of the tricks and strategies that I have applied to this channel are based on my website-building experience.

What is thrilling is that more and more of my videos are WAKING UP.

Notice that over 80% of my traffic is from external sources.  The SEO that I am using is beginning to pay off.  Google is finding my content, Best of all, the cumulative effect of adding content is much more beneficial when your videos wake up instead the other way around.

My faceless video process is based on three steps.

12178069465?profile=RESIZE_710xI find out which videos people want to watch, and if they are available and have no copyright issues, I download them for free, from a public domain site and then upload them to YT.  Above, you can see that the Honeymooners episode Dial J For Janitor has over 1.8M views, which means that people are interested.  (Google and YT do all the work, I just sit back and act on the results.)

12178070475?profile=RESIZE_710x

And what you are seeing above is a snapshot of this video being uploaded.

My Faceless Video process is almost that simple.  There is no skill needed and there is no cost.

I invite you to watch a free training video about the process, you get to look over my shoulder, and I share each step. Click here to watch.

Thank you for reading.

Much Success,

George Pierce
