Every Network Marketer wants more leads for their business to get more exposure. The biggest issue with generating leads for your business is NOT lack of skill, but lack of knowledge on how to build your list. Many are taught to just generate traffic and if enough people see your website you will get leads. This is a BIG misconception and in this blog post I will discuss 3 key areas to generate the best leads for your business.
You Must Identify Your Target Market
So many business owners think that they have to attract anyone that is breathing in order to get exposure but that's the wrong way to build your business. You must identify your target market in order to serve them whatever you are offering. Suppose you are offering fantastic 8-12 oz organic steak but you are marketing to EVERYBODY ( No target audience ) then you get some people that like steak then you get a lot that are vegetarian or because of religious reasons cannot eat steak. At this point you are frustrated that you are not getting the traffic you wanted and you have WASTED your time. Identify who your buyers are, Identify who you want in your business, then you can market your business to that audience. At this point you may have less people to market to but they are looking for what you are offering.
Offer Value To Your Target Market
After you have identified your target market you need to become an interrogator. You need to know where your target market hangs out, what they like, what they dislike and what they are looking for. In this article I'm going to be talking about Network Marketers.
What do Network Marketers want? Good question; they are looking for more leads, more traffic and more cash flow so that they can use it to market.
If you know this then you need to become attracted to that target audience. How do you do that? Well, the worst thing you can do is spam them with your company stating that it's better than theirs. They don't want to hear that and they will run away from you, they don't care about what you are promoting as they want to build their business. As I said earlier they are looking for leads, traffic and cash flow.
The best way to attract them is to offer what they are asking for. They want more ways to generate leads so offer that. You can show them a webinar's how to generate leads or make a video of what you learned. They are looking for more traffic, so do the same. And they are looking for more cash flow, so give them that. At this point you should be collecting names and emails which leads me to the last key area. Develop A Relationship With Them
Have you ever heard the saying "People like dealing with people that they like and trust". This is so true. When was the last time you bought a product from someone you Didn't Like and Trust? Probably Never. As you are delivering Value to your list they will begin to Like you and Trust you then finally what you are waiting for. Recruiting those people into your Network Marketing business and now you have achieved your goal.
Understand that this doesn't happen over night but the results are mind blowing and once it starts to come in, it tends NOT to Stop. You will be able to recruit the people that you WANT and you will then begin to have Good retention.
