The Boy from Broughty Ferry is young Scottish fisherman, Torry Taggart, abandoned on the doorstep of his adoptive parents when only days old. What I found is after the first 70 pages I was so intriqued that I rushed through my work day so I would have time to finish it. Believe me it was a pleasurable experience in more ways than one. It is my belief that you have to look at The Boy From Broughty Ferry from more than one perspective. If so, you will find most everything we learned from Tom will be reinforced.

That photo is of the Trotternish peninsula on Skye's north-east corner. I have climbed, hiked and camped out there many times. It is a favourite spot of mine, as haunting as the hues of the photo display. Thank you George for posting this, brought a lump to my throat!
