Enlighten Your Soul By Resting Your Mind

Enlighten Your Soul

Enlighten your soul by resting your mind. You cannot stand in the middle of a rain storm and expect to stay dry.

When your mind is troubled your soul cannot rest, plain and simple. Your self interrogation requires you to clear your mind where your soul can rest and respond to your questions.

Then and only then can you search your true soul.

When your mind is thinking about all those things that boggle you down in clarity; it's comparable to being in a hail-storm trying to hear someone ask you a question.

There are many suggestions as to how to clear your mind and different things work for different people. I would not even attempt to tell you what it is that puts you at peace and clears yours.

What I will tell you is that you know in your heart where you feel at peace. I suggest that's where you go sit relax, turn off your cell phone and your troubled mind.

Then begin asking your soul who  you are and what you are about.

May "Enlightenment" be yours always.

Sandy you are so right it isn't hard :) and the beach there sounds wonderful.

  • This is such a lovely, peaceful post, Susan.  We used to live near the beach and I would go down in the Summer after the Tourists had left and walk along the beach with my pup.  Nowadays, I am  content to look out the window and watch the birds feeding or just enjoy listening to their songs.  God has given us such a wonderful gift ... it's not hard to find reasons to feel blessed and at rest.

  • Love this article Susan. So true you need to quiet your mind so that your mind can become clear.  Appreciate.  Thanks for sharing.  Liked and Shared.

    Hi Merle,

That sounds wonderful :) I am pretty much okay in any nature setting. The great thing about loving nature you sure don't have to go far to find it. :)

  • Loved it Susan. I live by the sea and often drive up one of the hills and sit there overlooking the sea. That does it for me.

    Hi Terri,

That sounds wonderful. I to revert back to Nature to search my soul. We live on a ranch and our house has a big back porch I sit out there and look out over the land through the trees and just kind of give in to nature to calm me. It never fails to do so.

Susan I like to sit outside under the tree and meditate on the things I desire and thank God for the many blessings he has given to me. I am blessed to bless others and loving it so much. Shared via Syndication Automation and my Facebook group (over 17,000 members).
