Hi Everyone!  I am George Pierce, this post is about being willing to do it, to try it, and to do it now.  It is a smple concept.  We cannot try everything, we do not have enough time, and we would be spread out too far.  However, when our research shows us that something is working for others in our niche, it is probably a good idea to try it.  

Better yet, see if you can do it better, or put a new or different spin on it.  

Ya But!  It won't work!  

Thanks to my Dad, I was taught to not be a "Ya But", and, as mentioned, neither you nor I will know if sonething will work, if we do not try it.  

Don't make changes!

It is a normal reaction to be adverse to change. So trying something new may take extra effort, at first.  I can assure you that change will get easier and easier, to the point where you will readily embrace change.  Why?  Because, as you gain experience, more and more of your (research-based) changes will WORK!  

Above is a "Two-Fer', my 'improved' version of a daily quiz questiion.  Will it work?  There is only one way to find out! Try it, which means do it (now).

As you begin your online journey, consider the phrase or mantra, "Do it" or "Do it now".  I am a big fan of 'do it now', and I hope you will be too.

There is Quaker quote that "Do It Now" comes from:

“I expect to pass through this world but once. If, therefore, there be any kindness I can show, or any good thing that I can do, to any fellow human being, let me do it now. Let me not defer nor neglect it; for I will not pass this way again.”

Ya But, I might fail.

Failure is no big deal.  Failure is our best teacher, in fact, failure drives success.  Failure or FEAR of failure is a negative emotion.  Any negative emotion is a waste of our time and energy.  Negative emotions are also bad for our health and literally hold us back. 

The good news is that FEAR is a coward, and will back down.  And failures are springboards to learning, improving, and succeeding.

"A Round To It"

If you never never heard of a Round To It, it the award we recieive for procrastination.  It is easy to come up with reasons for putting things off,  so many good reasons.  

The truth is that all the obstacles that block our getting started on the road to success, are obstacles that we can overcome, and the initial obstacles are often selp-imposed.  What may seem like good reasons or legitimate fears are 'excuses'.  

What To Do

Adopt a “Do It Now” attitude!  You attitude change will soon dissolve 'excuses', fears, and self-imposed obstacles.  Most of us are unintentionally standing in our own way when it comes to getting started, a "Do It Now' mindset can help us change all that.  Your journey to success is one that you take step by step.  "Do It Now" will empower you to take that important first step, as well as all the ones that follow.

Hi Everyone!  I am George Pierce, this post is about ProProfs.  ProProfs is a quiz site.  It offers quizzes of all kinds, which makes it a perfect traffic magnet for quizzers.  It also offfers free quiz making software.  I am looking for an 'interactive' quiz maker, ProProfs is interactive.  I want software that can 'keep score', its software will keep score.  The software also includes email capture, a nice plus.  

Why was I disappointed?

The free version is limited to 12 questions, but I was stopped at eight questions.  The software has an advanced option that allows for images, additonal text and more.  Questions and Answers and images or videos tend to retain attention, so visitors are more likely to watch to the end.  

The software is awesome.  I would love to recommend the free version, but with a cap of eight questions, I cannot.  Based on my research and experience, I have not been able to find an online website for creating quizzes with a free version that is worth recommending.  The software is usually outstanding, but the free version is either a free trial or a version that it too limited.

Software that I do recommend:

If you are looking for free quiz making software, I find that most free WordPress Quiz Plugins are excellent.  Yes, they will have limits, because they want you to upgrade, but most limits will still allow you to create great quizzes, even interactive quizzes.

For creating quizzes for YT, TT, Facebook, IG, etc., there are excellent video creation/ vide editor options such as Clipchamp which is online and VSDC or Open Shot which are downloadable.

One of the best low-cost options is CreateStudio.  The basic option is downloadable creation and editing software that includes a large number of premade templates for virtually every niche, including several for creating quizzes.  The above quiz video was made with CreateStudio, each section (intro, quiz, subscribe, and outro) are based on CreateStudio templates.  The advantage of a template is that they are easily and readily customizable.  This allows a newbie to create professional quality videos from the start and the templates allow for the customiztion to be made in the side panel, whih proves to be a serious time-saver.  CreateStudio is a paid option, it is one-time payment of $67 for the basic option, and you own it for life.   Watch the video and you will see that the basic option is loaded (take note of the sound effects amd visual effects).  

To summarize, most (based on my experience and research, ALL)  free online options for creating quizzes are so limited they are not worth it.  Free WP plugins for your website are limited but useable. CreateStudio is an excellent low-cost option.

Hi Everyone! I am George Pierce. This post is about CTR, which is short for click-through rate.  The first few months of my online journey were disappointing, disappointing is putting it nicely.  No one was visiting my websites and when I finally began getting traffic, no one was taking any action.  My results were dismal...but I was not about to quit.  

If you can relate, this post will help you.  

Nowadays, a CTR of 1 to 2% is considered to be good.  Not everything I do works, as you can see, but most do.  And when something does not work, usually a little testing and tweaking will improve my results. 

The good news is that when aspiring Internet Marketers improve their CTR, their results are no longer dismal!  More importantly, quitting is no longer an option.

Hi All! I am George Pierce. This post is about making your own templates for quiz videos. I started with Canva, a fantastic site for helping you and me with any kind of images or videos. Canva is free and perfect for getting started. I soon discovered a problem, however, which is that creating quiz videos is slow and tedious. The following is a brief overview of how I am solving this problem.

I am using video creation software called CreateSudio. CreateStudio is awesome; it extremely over-delivers, but it is not free. Stay with me, however. I am using the Basic version. It is $67, which is a one-time cost, and you own it for life. It may be the best value on the Internet, and you are about to see how it can save you so much time and help you avoid a lot of tedium.

The following snapshot is a group or a scene, it can act as a template, which you can save to My Scenes.  

When you save it to My Scenes, it means that you can use it over and over again.  Even better is that you can access all the components! In other words, you can modify it to fit your audio (speech), as well as make changes.

Notice that on the left side, you also have easy and quick access to all the text, as well as the imagery.  Your image can also be a video, and changing it is as easy as uploading and hitting 'replace'.

To access the components click on open group.

To create your scene, add your components as you would with any other segment of your video. CreateStudio is automatically hooked up with sites such as Pixabay, Pexels, Coverr, and more, as well as providing us with thousands of backgrounds.  There is much more such as animated characters that we can sync to the speech, special effects, doodles, music, built-in unlimited text-to-speech (I prefer Luvvoice), and on and on.  

We can animate text and images as well as add special effects.  In the above, I used special effects for swirling the multiple choices (text) in and out and for the doodle for the answer.  

As in most editors, once you create the template you want, drag or scroll your mouse over the components, and click on group.  Click on rename, add a name that describes your template, and then add it to My Scenes, which permanently saves it.  You can easily drag and drop your saved My Scenes template to your videos/ future videos.  You can also use group and my scenes for multiple scenes, 5, 10, or more.  

Shhh!

Do not steal, but look at your competition and let their quiz videos help with ideas for your quiz templates.  CreateStudio will make creating easy.  

(When something works...do more of it!)

Use your CreateStudio search box and you should find whatever you need.  I searched for 'ELF', and of course, I found a 3D animated elf, the host of the video along with a background of an elf workshop.  I wanted a rectangle to put behind my choices and answers, typed in rectangle, and found one with an outer edge, I can control the color and size of the rectangle and the color of the edge...minor enhancements such as this, and such as sound effects (also available) add up to helping us to keep viewers watching!

I feel that CreateStudio gives my videos an edge, perhaps it can do the same for your videos.

There are two ways to determine EXACTLY what your audience wants!  Niche marketing helps you to find out what your target market wants, and then split testing helps you to be more exact.  Learning what people want and giving it to them is a simple "success secret".   I say simple, because, even a newbie can apply these two strategies.  I discovered the following years ago, I was shocked at how easy this was, and I still am.

Hello Everyone! I am George Pierce. In this post, I will share Internet Marketing training nuggets. My initial intent was to provide proof that I am actually using what I share and that it works.  The flaw is that almost anyone can prove that nearly anything works online nowadays.  Based on my research, between 4% (YT) and 11% (websites) do work.  Unfortunately, that means the proof you see is bogus about 89% to 96% of the time. 

My first nugget is to BE SKEPTICAL!  Since so few opportunities are valid, more and more online opportunities are not going to help you, so perform your research before making your decisions.

Next is a private Intro. How will the following Intro help you?  Where are the nuggets?

(the actual intro is on Rumble which is 16:9, thus the website URL and Lose Weight For Free are showing on the thumbnail, however, SE does not support Rumble videos, so this is from YT, which usually creates videos under 1 minute as a short that is portrait 9:16)

Nugget: The video was made with CreateStudio, awesome video software.  The basic package is $67 and you own it for life.  It is worth $100's, perhaps $1.000s!  The video is one of many intros that are already made for us.  All I did was change the text. 

Nugget:  The attention-grabbing text, Adapt and Thrive, was created with a free online slogan generator.  The above was made with hrefs slogan generator, which is probably the best because you can use it to generate truly attention-grabbing headlines, titles, slogans, etc.  It will also generate about 5 options, along with a couple of lines of excellent script.  The negative about the free version is that you are limited to three per month, however, there are dozens more free generators that will help you.  Since your headlines and titles will be better, your traffic will improve.

Nugget:  The niche is weght loss.  Weight loss is a niche that newbies can succeed in, especially with a little knowledge of niche marketing.  Once you gain traction, you can get into weight loss prescriptions, and other prescription medications, which can mean more money and residual income.  (see Flex Offers, an affiliate center with prescription drug opportunities).

The following was published yesterday (I want you to see that I do what I share, unlike many others).

Nugget:  The video and the outro were made with HeyGen.   HeyGen is "free talking avatar software", that will amaze you. The free version allows us to create 3 videos per month and video creation is so easy that anyone can do this.

Next is a snapshot of one of my Gmail accounts.

Nugget:  As you see above, I have already shared HeyGen.  You can also see that I use Flex Offers, TubeBuddy, World Profit, and Legendary Marketer.  Each is outstanding, and when you share outstanding resources, they almost sell themselves. 

Nugget:  TubeBuddy provides a suite of tools that can help beginners get started on YT, it has a free version, and it is so good that many will upgrade.

Nugget:  World Profit is a must for aspiring Internet Marketers, the free version can help in any and all aspects of online marketing, and the free training is priceless. (Visit the Vault).

Nugget:  Also, please notice the email at the bottom.  It is from me to me?  Include yourself on your mailing lists, preferably with a Gmail account. The above email lets me know that my emails are getting to my subscribers' inboxes!  I also get another chance to read the email (to inspect what I expect).

Nugget:  As you see above, there is an email from Quora.  I strongly recommend that you join Quora, and then actively post, as well as answer questions in your niche.  Your benefit is that you will receive emails as you see above.  Quora will help you to help others, also to build your brand by sharing your expertise.  In addition, Quora will hand you questions that are often solid gold!  Questions that you can use for your website and your YT channel, to create SEO-based (keyword-based) content that others are interested in. 

Nugget:  Coschedule is a free all-in-one online calendar.  As you grow online, Coschedule will become more and more valuable. It will enable you to be more organized, to get more done, and to not overlook an important task or detail.

Nugget:  You can customize (in this case, add text) using Paint (which should be installed on your laptop) or using free sites such as Pixlr or Canva.  Pixlr is a free photo editor, image generator, design tool, and more.   Canva can help you with virtually any kind of image or video. 

Hello ALL!  I am George Pierce and this post is about a free online text-to-speech tool that you will love.  In fact, "luv' is a part of its name, it is called Luvvoice.   What I have found about luvvoice is that it seems to make the fewest number of mistakes.  Mistakes?   Most text-to-speech software is amazing, but when it comes to acronyms, for example, the acronym often comes out wrong.  Specifically,  one of my quiz videos referred to the recent MTV EMA awards.  If you do not put in spaces (M T V  E M A awards) most text-to-speech software, translate acronyms as words, thus creating a mistake.  With Luvvoice, I did not need to add spaces. 

No big deal?  Yes and NO.

Mistakes can get by us; they take time to fix, and our time is valuable.

The above image is a snapshot of the Luvvoice landing page.  Creating speech from text is as easy as copying and pasting or uploading.  The voices are very realistic, with a huge selection.  The fact that you have over 70 languages is also a plus, and you can also use this free tool to read content aloud. 

The free version provides us with 20K characters per month, which should relate to about 31 minutes of free text-to-speech per month.  If you need more, Luvvoice has affordable upgrades.  I have the basic Luvvoice package which is 20K characters per TTS and 2M per month. What I found was that most free text-to-speech platforms (such as TTSMaker) have 'quality' voices that sound real, but the best voices have a low limit on the number of characters (500 to 3k).  You can do multiple downloads, in other words, the software will allow you to break a 5K TTS down into 2 to 10 segments, to get a voice that sounds real and also has some excitement, but it takes time.   With a Luvvoice upgrade, you and I can do a TTS up to about 31 minutes with a superb voice for a low cost and save time.

Hello!  I am George Pierce, this post is about your need to look before you leap, before you jump into an online opportunity.  Most online opportunities are about selling you something or getting you to watch a video.  That is not necessarily bad, some online opportunities and gurus are outstanding, but some are not. 

The bad ones will be a waste of your money and time.  Even worse, is that you might quit for good.

Based on my experience, about one out of eight website-based opportunities are worthy of your attention, up from one in nine.  YouTube, however, is about one in twenty-five, down from one in twenty.  

When you are new, it is almost impossible to know which opportunities are worthy.  So here are a few tips that can help.

Research!???

Use your search box and type in the name or names of the person or people that are involved, and see what shows up.  Type in the company name, online URL, or phone number.  You may be surprised at what shows up.

Next, add words such as SCAM and complaints to your search.

Rely on logic, not emotion.

An online opportunity can change your life, the possibilities are beyond your imagination.  When it is the right choice, it is the best decision that you will ever make, so make a logical decision, not an emotional one.

Listen!??

Listen to your gut if you feel that there is something wrong.  Listening to your gut is emotional rather than logical, but if you are getting some kind of a negative vibe, there may be a reason that you might want to go on to the next opportunity.

Is it right for you?

Even the best opportunities are not a good fit for everyone.  If you are like most people, your hope is that an online opportunity is eventually going to become your full-time work-from-home business.  Make sure it is one that you will love.

The free version is limited to three videos per month and the videos are limited to 3 minutes each (about 3K characters).   There will also be a watermark.  However,  three free talking avatar videos mean a video about every ten days, which can have a very positive impact.  As I am sure you know, YouTube can act as a traffic magnet, all at zero cost.  Talking avatars are presently popular and HeyGen makes it easy.

I use HeyGen as a free customer, and I am delighted.  The following is an example of what you can create using the HeyGen software.

The Intro for the above video was made with CreateStudio.  The video and the outro were made with HeyGen.  The avatar is almost perfect, and the watermark is not a problem.  

Creating and growing a channel on YouTube is easier than ever, especially with tools and software such as HeyGen.

Hi All!  I am George Pierce, this post is about siphoning traffic, with a bit of a twist.  The twist is to build siphons around worthy causes, such as Manatee Awareness.  Each month of the year celebrates awareness of many noble causes.  Per Wikipedia, November alone also celebrates  
"Black Catholic History Month, COPD Awareness Month, Indigenous Disability Awareness Month (Canada), Movember, National Novel Writing Month,
and Native American Indian/Alaska Native Heritage Month".  

Above is a snapshot of the search results for Manatee using a free browser extension called Ubersuggest.  Pertinent keyword phrases such as "Manatee" and "Sea Cow Manatee" are getting over 300K searches per month with reasonably low competition from organic traffic (SD) and no competition (PD) for paid traffic.  The lower the number, the less competition.  

Hi Everyone!  I am George Pierce.  One of my online adventures is a new quiz channel on YouTube and I am in the process of creating fake Jeopardy (Fake Jepperdy).  The reason for this post is my discovery of a free Jeopardy template.  The template is by a site called Jeopardy Labs.  You can use it for free, and you do not need to register.  

Teachers, especially, can benefit.  You can use the template to create Jeopardy games.  It is easy to use, customizable, and very user-friendly. 

The following is a snapshot of Jeopardy Labs' home page.

A small negative is that the free version has only five categories instead of six.   Six are available, along with many more awesome features such as video and audio for a lifetime upgrade of $20.   I have looked at most other options, this seems to be the best.  

Another option: If you search for Jeopardy templates, you will find that Google will give you all their Jeopardy PowerPoint templates for free.  And allow me to share that you can get PowerPoint free from Microsoft:  https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/powerpoint

Based on my research, Jeopardy is the most popular game and game show ever!  People of all ages love it, and Jeopardy can be an exceptional tool for educators since it makes learning so much fun.

Hello All!  I am George Pierce and I am an advocate of using images, lots of images, so it pains me a little to share this post.  Why? Because it is about avoiding image-heavy emails.  Images can enhance our content, help us to grab and keep attention, and boost our CTR, so using fewer images in our emails may seem like a mistake, so allow me to share some of the reasons why fewer images are better for your emails.

Loss Of Readability:

Lots of email systems obstruct images by default.  What this means is that your message might not be shared as you intended. Instead of your email list seeing images, they are likely to see image icons with alt (alternate) text, without proper alt text, your readers might miss out on crucial information and not understand your email. 

Non-Deliverable:

Emails with a significant quantity of images compared to messages are often identified as spam by filters, which decreases the probability of them being delivered to the recipient's inbox.

Slow Loading:

Image-heavy emails can take longer to open, particularly on mobile devices or slower internet connections, resulting in disappointed recipients who might desert your email before it fully loads.  

As you can see, all your worst email scenarios are possible, thanks to too many images.

How To Fix:

Bonus Tip:

Create one or more email accounts, such as Gmail (for sure) and  Yahoo Mail or Mail dot com, and subscribe to your lists.  This will give you a chance to inspect what you expect. For example, my AIOP and AWeber emails almost always go to my inbox and not to Spam.   

Building your list is a way to literally quadruple your income!  It will be the backbone of your online ventures, so protect your investment.

For example,  I have been a user and lover of AIOP for over 5 years. AIOP is a complete online marketing platform that includes a website, training, autoresponder, product, links, banners, videos, elibrary, and much more at the lowest price.  It is an unbeatable value, which certainly helps to make sales, but when you use a product such as AIOP yourself. you know firsthand, if it is OK, or good, or great.  And when it is great, it is so much easier to make sales.  

In addition to providing an awesome product and value, AIOP makes it easy to share AIOP with others.  AIOP has an already-made sales funnel that you can use immediately.  The following snapshot will give you a brief overview of how easy this is.

Hi All!  I am George Pierce, this post is about what I have discovered about WordPress.  I am a fan of WordPress (WP), which is a user-friendly, beginner-friendly website builder option.  Most WP hosting comes with almost unlimited 'plugins'!  WP plugins allow anyone to do almost anything imaginable when creating their WP website.  Due to the oversize of one of my websites, I have been doing a little research... I intended to find a 'faster' host...which relates to faster page loading.  Unfortunately, virtually all of the information (websites, videos, blogs) that are about WP hosting is nothing more than a sales pitch. 

 Above is a snapshot of the performance stats, 12 Millisecnds is fast, but the host for the oversize site is Hostinger.  Hostinger is low-priced and has almost unlimited storage and traffic.  So I began my search for "faster" WP hosting.  Warning, almost every WP review, post, video, etc. is a bunch of smoke, for example, having a CPanel or HPanel, and, which is easier or more friendly has nothing to do with your WP site since it has its own dashboard. Finally, I found some info about page load speed, which, unfortunately, I cannot verify, perhaps it is reliable info.

According to DiviFlash, which is the source of the snapshot above, the top two 'fastest' WP hosts are WP Engine (2nd) with an average page load speed of 936 Milliseconds, and Kinsta (1st) with a speed of 889 Milliseconds.  The 4.8 and 4.2 above are the Trust Pilot ratings.

My Hostinger oversize site is much faster!  Hostinger also has a 4.8 Trust Pilot rating and Hostinger has a cost of $2.99 per month.

Hi Everyone!  I am George Pierce and this post is for those who love Back To The Future.  I have had the good fortune of finding a complete Back To The Future trilogy, and it is available for watching for free.   Back to the Future is a 1985 US science fiction movie that stars Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson, Crispin Glover, and Thomas F. Wilson.  In the first movie, Michael J. Fox plays Marty McFly, who is transported back in time (from 1985 to 1955).  While in 1955, Marty accidentally keeps his parents from meeting, which must be fixed or he will be erased from existence.

Above is the 'time machine'.  Marty and Doc (Christopher Lloyd) were able to time travel in this vehicle when the Delorean hit 88 MPH.  

The movie has been so successful and so well-loved because of the quality of its story and, of course, its actors.

Hi All!  I am George Pierce, nearly all of what I share about making money online has been learned the hard way.  The hard way is trial and error, which is mostly error.  My intent is to help you to get to where you want to be online faster and easier by learning from my mistakes and successes.
