A Key To Abundant Life

AKeyToAbundntLife250.jpg

We have come too far to turn around – for us, there is no going back. It is our hope that this post will help you take one step further in your journey.

MAIN THOUGHT

Many people try to do what is right, but Jesus says that the only way to live a truly good life is to abide in Him, like a branch attached to the vine.

John 15:4 (NKJV) says Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.”

ADDITIONAL THOUGHT: DEFINITION OF “ABIDE”

CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING:
His name is above all names and He is worthy of all our praise.
Psalm 8:3-4 (NIV) says When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them?”

SOME REASONS FOR PRAISING THE LORD
Psalm 103:1-5 (NIV) says Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.”
Romans 4:8 (NIV) says Blessed is the one whose sin the Lord will never count against them.”

LAMB'S BOOK OF LIFE – WHAT IS IT?

The Lamb's Book of Life (also called The Book of Life) is a record containing the names of all those who have been spiritually reborn (redeemed). This means that they have accepted Jesus as their Savior, made Him Lord of their life, and will live with God in heaven throughout eternity.

BIBLE REFERENCES

The following Bible references speak of the Lamb's Book of Life.

Revelation 3:5 (NIV) says The one who is victorious will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out the name of that person from the book of life, but will acknowledge that name before my Father and his angels.”

Revelation 13:8 (NIV) says “All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written in the Lamb’s Book Of Life, the Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world.”

Are You Living As One Forgiven?

3818732975?profile=original
Psalm 32:1 (NIV) says Blessed is the one whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sin are covered.”
Ephesians 4:32 (NIV) says Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”
Below are the lyrics to a beautiful song written by Gloria Gaither that exemplifies life changes in a person who truly has been forgiven.
<“I THEN SHALL LIVE”
I then shall live as one who's been forgiven.
I'll walk with joy to know my debts are paid.
I know my name is clear before my Father;
I am His child and I am not afraid.
So, greatly pardoned, I'll forgive my brother;
The law of love I gladly will obey.

God's Amazing Grace

AmazingGrace250.jpg
The following are the lyrics to “Amazing Grace” first published in 1779, a praise song written by John Newton, a former slave ship captain who heard God's Word. He was a self-proclaimed wretch who once was lost but then was found, saved by God's Amazing Grace. And, we too were lost but, Thank God, we were found and saved by God's Amazing Grace – Hallelujah!
AMAZING GRACE LYRICS
Amazing grace! How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found;
Was blind, but now I see.
Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed.
Through many dangers, toils and snares,
I have already come;
’Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far,
And grace will lead me home.

The American Mission Field

NOTE: This is a Guest Post used with permission from Richard Smith at www.theonlydoor.com.

FlagImage250.jpg

In years past many individuals left the United States to travel to various destinations around the world to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with those that were native to the continents they reached.

Even today there are some who continue this effort and go on to do great things for God in foreign lands. There is still a need for evangelism in many foreign lands, but America has now become a desperate mission field as well.

A nation founded and established on Biblical principles that has never been perfect, but yet rooted in Bible scripture in many ways has now become committed to eliminating the beliefs of the founding fathers.

Prayer has been removed from schools and the Bible outlawed in the classrooms and the results are an educational system in complete ruin and teaching atheistic beliefs to our children.

Lust and perversion portrayed in abominable entertainment has led our men to abandon their families for the pursuit of pleasure and young ladies have lost all sense of worth and allowed themselves to be degraded in humiliating ways.

Death and destruction has been glorified to the point some have chosen to imitate these acts and committed horrible atrocities.

Greed is bleeding the nation dry economically which reminds us of what we were told would occur, (because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold, Matthew 12:24). With no remorse some will rob you of all that you have worked for by utilizing financial schemes.

False prophets are running ramped telling the people what they want to hear for the sake of gaining riches, fame and notoriety. Due to their itching ears, (2 Timothy 4:3) many flock to hear the lies and words rooted in prosperity rather than Bible scripture.

The church fails to realize that if we would unite in prayer, seek God and cross denominational lines, we can be more than conquerors and push back the darkness that is consuming the nation.

Voting is valuable, but we look at our chosen political candidates as if they can save the nation when in reality only God can turn things around. So many decisions are being made by our leaders with no consideration of what pleases God and what He desires.

Many are dying each day without knowing Jesus Christ, and never accepting Him as Lord and Savior during their lifetime. Thousands of churches close permanently each year. People exit church doors daily never to return again. Many more have never stepped inside of a church before or had anyone come to them and personally share the Gospel.

America desperately needs individuals who will seek God for direction in evangelizing the citizens within its borders. The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.

Confrontationimage.jpg

The following 8 Principles and their related scriptures show the importance of this approach by the Apostle Paul in his own ministry.

1. Be Firm And Bold:

2 Corinthians 7:9 (NIV) says “Yet now I am happy, not because you were made sorry, but because your sorrow led you to repentance. For you became sorrowful as God intended and so were not harmed in any way by us.”

2 Corinthians 10:2 (NIV) says I beg you that when I come I may not have to be as bold as I expect to be toward some people who think that we live by the standards of this world.”

2. Affirm All That You See That Is Good:

2 Corinthians 7:4 (NIV) says I have spoken to you with great frankness; I take great pride in you. I am greatly encouraged; in all our troubles my joy knows no bounds.”

3. Be Accurate And Honest:

2 Corinthians 7:14 (NIV) says I had boasted to him about you, and you have not embarrassed me. But just as everything we said to you was true, so our boasting about you to Titus has proved to be true as well.”

2 Corinthians 8:21 (NIV) says For we are taking pains to do what is right, not only in the eyes of the Lord but also in the eyes of man.”

4. Know The Facts:

2 Corinthians 11:22-27 (NIV) says Are they Hebrews? So am I. Are they Israelites? So am I. Are they Abraham’s descendants? So am I. Are they servants of Christ? (I am out of my mind to talk like this.) I am more. I have worked much harder, been in prison more frequently, been flogged more severely, and been exposed to death again and again. Five times I received from the Jews the forty lashes minus one. Three times I was beaten with rods, once I was pelted with stones, three times I was shipwrecked, I spent a night and a day in the open sea, I have been constantly on the move. I have been in danger from rivers, in danger from bandits, in danger from my fellow Jews, in danger from Gentiles; in danger in the city, in danger in the country, in danger at sea; and in danger from false believers. I have labored and toiled and have often gone without sleep; I have known hunger and thirst and have often gone without food; I have been cold and naked.”

5. Follow Up After The Rebuke, Confrontation, Or Discipline:

2 Corinthians 7:13 (NIV) says By all this we are encouraged. In addition to our own encouragement, we were especially delighted to see how happy Titus was, because his spirit has been refreshed by all of you.”

2 Corinthians 12:14 (NIV) says Now I am ready to visit you for the third time, and I will not be a burden to you, because what I want is not your possessions but you. After all, children should not have to save up for their parents, but parents for their children.”

6. Be Gentle After Being Firm:

2 Corinthians 7:15 (NIV) says And his affection for you is all the greater when he remembers that you were all obedient, receiving him with fear and trembling.”

2 Corinthians 13:11-13 (NIV) says “Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you. Greet one another with a holy kiss. All God’s people here send their greetings.”

7. Speak Words That Reflect Christ's Message, Not Your Own Feelings Or Ideas:

2 Corinthians 10:3 (NIV) says For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does.”

2 Corinthians 10:12-13 (NIV) says “We do not dare to classify or compare ourselves with some who commend themselves. When they measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves with themselves, they are not wise. We, however, will not boast beyond proper limits, but will confine our boasting to the sphere of service God himself has assigned to us, a sphere that also includes you.”

2 Corinthians 12:19 (NIV) says Have you been thinking all along that we have been defending ourselves to you? We have been speaking in the sight of God as those in Christ; and everything we do, dear friends, is for your strengthening.”

8. Use Discipline Only When All Else Fails:

2 Corinthians 13:2 (NIV) says I already gave you a warning when I was with you the second time. I now repeat it while absent: On my return I will not spare those who sinned earlier or any of the others.”

Sometimes rebuke, confrontation, and discipline is necessary, but use them with caution. As a Christian, your purpose for any rebuke, confrontation, or discipline should be to help the person(s), not hurt them!

And, you may need to humble yourself and receive rebuke, confrontation, and discipline from your brothers and sisters in the Lord who may see shortcomings in your life that you don't clearly see.

The Point Of All This

That we may all be refined and conformed to the image of God's Son, Jesus Christ and improve our relationships with fellow Christians and others we know.

A Contemplative Night

NOTE: This is a Guest Post used with permission from Guest Author Stacey L. Lacik at http://staceylacik.com

3818732166?profile=original

Lots of thoughts and feelings tonight. Seemed like every demon in Hell was ready and waiting before I even swung my feet over the edge of the bed this morning. (Okay, ‘swung’ might not be the most accurate word – there’s not much swinging going on over here. Crawled is a bit more like it.)

Anyway, I had to distract myself all morning to keep from sinking into sadness. Some time in the Word, with a cup pot of coffee, and then some time getting group notes and files in order, and eventually I felt better.

And then, in a notebook, in the middle of notes on European history, I found several journal pages from the beginning of the end of my marriage. (When I say the beginning of the end, I mean long after it actually ended; it just took a few years for the reality to hit. Shock does that to a person.)

Notes on how my husband, after having been gone for a couple of years, verbally attacked me in a pet store (Why were we there? We didn’t own a pet) of all places, in front of the salespeople and our daughters, who were little at the time. How I began to realize that I had outgrown him while he was gone, not just spiritually, but emotionally, and that there really was no marriage left, and hadn’t been for sometime. How the manager had come to confront him, and help me. How completely and utterly humiliating it all was.

More notes.

He had pushed me one day, quite hard, in our bedroom, and then, after staring at me and hesitating for a moment, pushed me again, and I flew all the way across the room and hit the dresser. (This ended up being a hospital visit, with one of the discs in the center of my back protruding visibly through my t-shirt) and how, somehow, that particular day, it finally occurred to me that he wasn’t ‘out of control’ he was in fact very much in control.

Something about the way he hesitated before pushing me the second time. That day – that very day, I realized that abusive people are not ‘mentally ill’. They are masters of not only self-control, but of deception. That it is easier for them to charm the oil out of a snake than it is for them to tell the truth.

For so many years I had made excuses for him: I had made him angry, he was mentally ill, he had childhood issues (who doesn’t?) but I never called it what it was. I never saw it for what it was, until that exact moment, on that exact day. All because he stopped to think about it. Truly mentally ill people don’t do that. Abusive people do. If he hadn’t hesitated, I wouldn’t have seen it.

The nice thing about getting older is that you get (hopefully) more clear-headed. You become more firm in your convictions, right or wrong, so watch yourself, but you get stronger. You become free. I know that I do not want any more abusive people in my life, and certainly not in my heart.

I do not want any more ‘friends’ who get angry if I don’t do what they feel I should do, never mind the fact that I am more than capable of hearing from God for myself, thank you, and I also do not want any more people who wear their psychiatric labels like a suit of armor, protecting and absolving them from any moral responsibility in the wars they wage against other people. It’s not that they can’t control their anger, it’s that they choose not to.

Why so transparent tonight, about such personal issues? Because the walls of my heart are all trampled down tonight, and in this brief space of time, before they go up again tomorrow, I need to put all of this somewhere before I go to sleep.

Somewhere where maybe it can help someone, who is tonight where I was all those few years ago. And all I can tell you is, God Himself delivered me. That if you trust Him, He will make a way out; He surrounds us with His legions of angels, He goes both before and behind us, and leads us through, and out the other side.

I am not completely through yet, but can definitely see sunlight up ahead.  (That had better not be a train.)

So, I am sad and worn out tonight, but oh, so thankful for all that God has delivered me from. So very thankful.

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them. ~ Romans 8:28

If we remain in His love, God will redeem every circumstance for His glory.

www.primelifeministries.com, first published in January 2015, currently has visitors from 98 countries who, through our translation software, are reading our posts and pages in 10 different languages.

Through our blog posts and website pages, we are trying to help save millions and millions of people from Spending Eternity In Hell.

Our mission is to get readers to our website from every country in the world that has internet access.

We are currently doing two posts each week – one on Monday and one on Thursday.

We feel led to open up our Blog as a platform for other Christian writers as guest authors and we are putting together an international group of people who write quality, helpful, educational, informative and entertaining Bible based posts with scripture references in English.

NOTE: You do not have to be a published author to join this group. And, if you know other Christians who love to write, please tell them about this invitation.

Our website's primary purpose is Salvation and Witnessing but we are looking for blog posts and Personal Testimonies about the goodness of God that will help encourage and improve the lives of our saved and unsaved readers.

Scripture based blog posts and personal testimonies could include subjects such as Addictions, Deliverance, End Time Events, Finances, God's Love, Health and Healing, Heaven, Hell, Intimacy With God, Marriage and Family, Praise and Worship, Prayer, Prophecy, Prosperity (more than just money and possessions), Relationships With God And Others, Spiritual Gifts, Understanding God's Favor, Grace and Mercy, Unforgiveness, Their Daily Walk With The Lord, etc.

Our only request is that your blog posts be scripture based and provide information that could lead the readers to Salvation or help them in their daily walk with the Lord.

If the posts or testimonies you submit are longer than normal, we ask that you break them down into 2 or 3 parts in a series and we will publish them in that order. Please do not include any links in your posts or testimonies – just good helpful and interesting information. Thanks.

We will show your name as the writer for each post you write or testimony you provide and, if requested, include your church or ministry name and a link back to your website if you have one. If we accept your post or testimony, we will email you with the date that your post or testimony will be published worldwide.

As all the information on this website and blog is free to our readers, we cannot compensate you for your posts or testimonies, so please consider this as an inexpensive way to get published and serve our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

If you are interested in either becoming a guest author or providing a personal testimony and would like to have your work published on our blog, please respond to us at billandteddy.rogers@facebook.com. Please include your best email address so we can communicate with you directly. Thanks.

We are asking you, through your posts and testimonies, to help us spread the Good News of Jesus Christ, God's only message of Salvation, to readers all around the world.

We are also asking you to help us increase our territory (number of readers and countries reached) by sharing Prime Life Ministries with as many people on your contact lists and Social Media as possible.

And, if you know others who would be interested, please have them contact us.

We are in the “Last Days” and time is growing short. It is critical that we get the Word out to as many people as possible in as many countries as possible.

Thanks and may God richly bless you,

Bill and Teddy Rogers

1. Anger – A strong passion or emotion of displeasure caused by a sense of injury or insult, usually antagonistic and excited and directed toward a person, event, or situation.

Psalm 37:8 says “Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret—it leads only to evil.”

2. Envy Or Covetousness – Being discontented or resentful or longing after the good fortune of another. Wanting what someone else has.

Proverbs 14:30 says “A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones.”

James 3:16 says “For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice.”

3. Sloth (Laziness) – Being Idle or Unwilling to work. Also includes Indifference and an “I Don't Care Attitude”.

Proverbs 19:15 says “Laziness brings on deep sleep, and the shiftless go hungry.”

Ecclesiastes 10:18 says “Through laziness, the rafters sag; because of idle hands, the house leaks.”

4. Greed – A desire to acquire things beyond reason. Many people are chasing the almighty dollar and wanting more power, prestige, and position while ignoring family, friends, and other responsibilities.

Ephesians 5:5 says “For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a person is an idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.”

5. Lust – A natural sexual instinct or sinful desire that's gotten off track. Lust is rampant in our American culture. Pornography is now a $7 to $8 Billion Dollar Industry in the United States alone.

Matthew 5:28 says “But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.”

6. Gluttony– Excessive Eating or Drinking. Many of us are eating and drinking too much and are literally killing ourselves with clogged arteries, high blood pressure and cholesterol, obesity, and other self inflicted infirmities. Examples: eating fried and other foods that we know are bad for us and drinking too much coke and other beverages containing way too much sugar.

Proverbs 23:21 says “For drunkards and gluttons become poor, and drowsiness clothes them in rags.”

7. Pride – Having an excessively high opinion of our self and being conceited. This is the most deadly sin of all because it makes us want to appear wiser, smarter, bigger, better, richer, finer, and more righteous than we really are. Some people, in an attempt to appear better off than they really are, have a bunch of credit cards all maxed out and, in reality, are completely broke.

Proverbs 16:18 says “Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall”.

Let's Ask God to search our hearts and reveal any sins that we just don't want to own up to.

Finally, do you know for sure where you are going when you die? Are you ready?

All of us have had or, if we live long enough, will have conflicts in our personal relationships.  How we handle and resolve these conflicts is very important.

James 1:19 says My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.”

Here are the 5 keys needed to successfully resolve most of your conflicts.

KEY # 1: BE QUICK TO LISTEN

When we listen, we encourage the other person to talk.  Listening also helps us to understand the other person and where they are coming from.

Many of us do not really listen like we should because we are defensive, we assume we already know what they are going to say next, or we're thinking about what we're going to say back to them.

During A Conflict, Here Is What You Should Do:

  • Listen not merely with your ears, but observe and listen with your eyes;

  • Focus on what the other person is saying, not what you are thinking;

  • Consider the meaning behind the words without jumping to conclusions.

Note:  If you are not sure what you think they said, replay their statement back to them.

KEY # 2: BE SLOW TO SPEAK

God gave us two ears and one mouth. This may mean that we are to listen more and speak a whole lot less.

Here Are 4 Scriptures That Tell Us To

Limit What We Say During A Conflict.

Proverbs 10:19 says “In the multitude of words sin is not lacking, but he who restrains his lips is wise.”

Proverbs 17:27 says “He who has knowledge spares his words, and a man of understanding is of a calm spirit.”

Proverbs 21:23 says “Whoever guards his mouth and tongue keeps his soul from troubles.”

Ecclesiastes 5:3 says “For a dream comes through much activity, and a fool’s voice is known by his many words.”

KEY # 3: BE SLOW TO BECOME ANGRY

Ecclesiastes 7:9 says “Do not hasten in your spirit to be angry, for anger rests in the bosom of fools.”

Proverbs 16:32 says “He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city.”

Ephesians 4:26 says “Be angry, and do not sin: do not let the sun go down on your wrath.”

Proverbs 29:22 says “An angry man stirs up strife, and a furious man abounds in transgression.”

Remember, words spoken in anger are very difficult if not impossible to retract.  Keep your words soft and sweet, you may have to eat them!

KEY # 4: BE LOVING AND KIND

1 Corinthians 13:4-7 says “Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.”

You will never resolve any conflict by playing destructive games. Please don't ever do the following:

  • Blame the other person;

  • Think you know everything about the other person;

  • Insist that every detail be correct;

  • Rule by force – verbal or physical;

  • Compare the other person to someone else;

  • Act superior or “holier than thou”;

  • Bring up past conflicts that have nothing do do with the current conflict.

Key # 5: ATTEMPT TO SET THE STAGE BEFORE YOUR CONFLICT

  • Never have your conflict before eating a meal, going to church or a social event.

  • Never have your conflict when you or the other person are angry.

  • Have it in the right place when only the participants are involved ( never in front of children ).

  • Stay in control of your tone of voice.

Obviously, there are exceptions to the above, but if you use these 5 Keys and use them wisely, you should be able to successfully resolve most of your conflicts.

1. He keeps them busy participating in too many non-essential outside activities leaving no time for mate and children.  Remember, even spending too much time in church can do the same thing.

2. He tempts them to overspend and go into debt. Money issues and too much debt is the number one destroyer of marriages.

3. He convinces them to work long hours to maintain empty life styles.

4. He discourages them from spending family times for when homes break down or break up, there is no refuge from work.

5. He over stimulates their minds with television, computers, cell phones, tablets, etc. so they can't hear God speaking to them.

6. He fills their coffee tables and night stands with newspapers and magazines so they have no time to read the Bible.

7. He floods their mailboxes with sweepstakes, promotions and get rich quick schemes to keep them chasing after material things.

8. He puts glamorous models on television and magazine covers to keep them focused on outward appearances. That way, they will become dissatisfied with themselves and dissatisfied with their mates.

9. He makes sure that couples are too exhausted for physical intimacy. That way, they will be tempted to look elsewhere.

10. He emphasizes Santa, shopping, and the Easter Bunny. That way, they will be distracted from the real meaning of the holiday.

11. He gets them Involved in a lot of good causes so they won't have time for eternal ones.

12. He keeps them busy in their own strength to become self sufficient so they will never know God's power working through them.

Satan is a deceiver and he uses all these tricks to disrupt and destroy your faith, your joy, and your well being.  He is your enemy and his main goal is to keep you from spending time with God and doing what He says!

If you are a Christian, you can be victorious!

But, be watchful!   Are you doing any of the above?

If you are concerned about the future for your unsaved children and other loved ones, here is a new free tool to make it easy for you to be a witness to them!

Proverbs 11:30 Tells Us "He Who Wins Souls Is Wise!" And Matthew 28:16-20 Tells Us That We Are All Commanded To Help Build The Kingdom Of God By Being A Witness For Jesus Christ. Let's all be wise!

We believe that we are in the Last Days and time is growing very short before Jesus' imminent return to gather up all of His children (the Rapture).

Millions Are Lost, On Their Way To Hell, And Don't Even Know It! This could include your children, grandchildren, other family members, friends, neighbors, work associates, and acquaintances.

We don't want anyone to ever be able to say “I'm lost because you didn't tell me about Jesus and God's Free Gift of Salvation!”

Don't hesitate to tell others about Jesus because you fear that some will not believe you and don't expect a unanimously positive response to your witnessing. Even if only a few believe, it is well worth your effort.

To make it easy and convenient for you to be witness to your children and other loved ones, we have published a new website with a special page entitled the “Most Important Question”.

Many people have already successfully used the information from this page in their witnessing efforts.

To help you even more, we have includes some new software on each of our website pages.

To use this new software and get started witnessing immediately, go to the “Most Important Question” Page at http://www.primelifeministries.org.

On this web page, scroll all the way down to the bottom. There, you will see a Green “PrintFriendly” Button.

Click on this green PrintFriendly Button and it will open a new window.

At the top of this new window, you will see a Print icon, a PDF icon, an Email icon and Text Size. If the text is too small or too large, you can change it.

Click on the Email icon.

This will open a new window that says Email This Page.

Use this feature to send emails to all your unsaved children, grandchildren, other family members, friends, neighbors, work associates, and acquaintances .

Insert the person's email address in the TO: field and your email address in the FROM: field.

Then, enter a brief message about your concern for them, what you would like them to do (read the page), and click Send.

They will immediately receive this entire “Most Important Question” Page in their email along with your note.

If the person you are thinking of doesn't have an email address, click the Print icon.

This will open up a new window that allows you to print the entire “Most Important Question” Page.

You can then mail or give it to that person or you can sit down one-on-one with them and share it.

Either way, doing this has worked very well for the people using it and caused a lot of people to accept Jesus as their savior and Lord.

With each of us doing just a little bit, we can quickly spread the Good News of God's Free Gift of Salvation all around the world and win many souls for the Kingdom of God.

May God richly bless you for all the time and effort you put into this.

God loves you and so do we,

Bill and Teddy Rogers

THE TRIBULATION

Author's Comment: The Tribulation is a complicated subject. We have tried to make our explanation as simple as possible so that our readers (both saved and unsaved) will be able to easily understand it. If you would like to do an in-depth study of the Tribulation, we have included many scripture references at the bottom of this page.

Who Is The Antichrist?

The Antichrist is the great deceiver, the personification of evil, who will control the world during the Tribulation period. According to the book Of Revelation, the Antichrist is a world dictator who will rise to power and rule for 7 years before Jesus' second coming and whose name spells out the number 666.

Revelation 13:16-18 says that He will institute the "Mark of the Beast" in an effort to exercise total economic, religious and political control. Without the Mark or the number of his name, no one will be able to buy or sell or even hold a job.

The Mark of the Beast will begin to be enforced halfway through the Antichrist's 7 year rule, at the beginning of the Great Tribulation.

Revelation 19:20 says that at the end of the Great Tribulation, the Antichrist and his False Prophet will be thrown into the lake of fire and destroyed.

What Is The Tribulation?

The Tribulation is a 7 year time period of great suffering in the end times in which mankind's evil and corruption will peak and God will pour out His wrath (punishment) on all rebellious and unbelieving people.

The first three and one-half years of the tribulation will be relatively peaceful. The Great Tribulation is the last three and one-half years of the Tribulation period and is distinguished from the Tribulation because the wrath of God will be greatly intensified during this time.

When Will The Tribulation Begin And End?

The actual event that inaugurates the Tribulation is found in Daniel 9:27 when the Antichrist makes a covenant with Israel for 7 years. His signing of the covenant will trigger the prophetic time clock of God and ends 7 years later.

At the end of the first three and one-half years, the Antichrist will break the covenant and, in the temple (yet to be built), declare himself to be God and the savior of the world. This is the beginning of the Great Tribulation that ends with the battle of Armageddon and the second coming of Jesus Christ three and one-half years later.

Who Will Go Through The Tribulation?

Everyone who has not accepted Jesus as their Savior and Lord.

What Happens To Christians

During The Tribulation?

There are 3 differing views and, in our opinion, only God knows which is right. The best position is just be ready at all times.

Pretribulation Is Based On Revelation 3:10: Pretribulationists believe that all true Christians (dead and alive) will be taken bodily up to Heaven in the Rapture before the Tribulation begins. According to their belief, every true Christian will be instantaneously transformed into a perfect resurrected body and will escape the trials of the Tribulation.

Midtribulation Is Based On 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4: Midtribulationists believe that the Rapture will occur halfway through the Tribulation period before the Great Tribulation begins.

Posttribulation Is Based On Matthew 24:27-31: Posttribulationists believe that the true Christians will not be Raptured but will be received by Christ into the Kingdom of God on earth immediately after the Great Tribulation.

Note: In Pretribulationism and Midtribulationism, the Rapture and the second coming of Christ are separate events, while in Posttribulationism, the two events are identical and simultaneous.

What Purpose Do The Tribulation

Judgments Of God Serve?

God's basic purpose for the tribulation is to finish His dealing with Israel and that it be a time of judgment. At the same time, He will hold forth the Gospel of Grace. Judgment, or God's wrath, is needed to put down the rebellion of mankind in preparation for Christ's reign of peace upon earth during the millennium.

What Are God's Goals For The Tribulation?

God's goals for the tribulation are summarized as follows:

1. To judge the world in order to prepare it for His righteous rule.

2. To finish transgression, to put an end to sin, to atone for wickedness, and to punish all hardened sinners.

3. To move others to repentance and faith through the Gospel of Grace.

4. To pay back all the nations for how they have treated the Jews during the last 2,000 years.

5. To bring about a world-wide revival unlike any other time of history. This will be accomplished during the first half of the Tribulation by means of the 144,000 Jews to fulfill the prophecy found in Matthew 24:14.

In addition, during the first half of the Tribulation, there will be normal evangelism taking place like we see today, the Two Witnesses will provide an evangelistic witness to Israel, and God Himself will use angels to preach the gospel and warn everyone not to take the mark of the beast (666).

6. To break Satan's (the Devil's) power over His holy people (Israel) and to bring them (the Jews) to faith in Jesus as their Messiah.

Is God Too Strict A Judge?

Some believe that God is too strict a judge and doesn't really care about the people He created.

But this is wrong! No matter who or what you are or what you have done, God loves you and He wants the best for you. But, He cannot bring you into Heaven if you haven't accepted Jesus as your savior and Lord (God's Free Gift Of Salvation).

Those who suffer the judgments of God in the Tribulation are not "innocent men and women." They are rebels against God who will not only reject God and His Free Gift Of Salvation offer but will run greedily toward every immoral and revolting sin known to man, including blasphemy of a kind beyond description.

Despite their gross sin, God intends that these Tribulation judgments might lead even these wicked sinners to faith in His Son, Jesus Christ!

The Most Important Question!

If you have not accepted Jesus as your savior and Lord and would like to, don't take a chance. Do it now! Remember, you are not guaranteed a tomorrow or even the next minute! To learn how to accept Jesus as your savior and Lord, read our “Most Important Question” Page at www.primelifeministries.org. You'll be very glad you did!

What Is The Rapture?

The Rapture is an end-times event where Jesus returns to gather up all His children. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 says “For the Lord himself will come down from Heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.”

When Will The Rapture Occur?

No one but God the Father knows when the Rapture will occur but we believe the Rapture is near and it is right at the door. The rapture will be instantaneous, in "the twinkling of an eye" (1 Corinthians 15:51-52). All believers will suddenly, without warning, disappear from the earth. Scripture nowhere encourages us to try to determine the date of Jesus' return. Rather, we are to “keep watch, because we do not know on which day our Lord will come” (Matthew 24:42). We are to “be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when we do not expect Him” (Matthew 24:44).

Who Will Be Included In The Rapture?

Everyone who has accepted Jesus as their Savior and Lord (believers) and have endured until the end (walked in the ways of God) and children under the age of reasoning.

Who Will Not Be Included In The Rapture?

Anyone who has not accepted Jesus as their Savior and Lord (non-believers).

Are You Ready?

Are you a believer who will be included in the Rapture or are you a non-believer who will be left behind to face the Great Tribulation?

Get Ready!

If you have not accepted Jesus as your Savior and Lord, we encourage you not to wait. Why take a chance, be left behind, and suffer the consequences. To learn how to get ready, please read our “Most Important Question” Page at http://www.primelifeministries.org.

We are publishing these blog posts to provide quality alternative health care, natural medicine, and natural healing information to help baby boomers and seniors live a longer, healthier, happier, more energetic and independent life without using prescription drugs.

So far, we have published a number of posts sharing some of our very serious personal health problems.

OUR PERSONAL TESTIMONY

Because of the recommendations we received from our alternative health care physician, we immediately quit taking all the prescription drugs we were on (see cautionary note below), jumped heavily into an acid-alkaline diet, stopped eating a long list of foods that had been a regular part of our diet, increased our water intake, and started taking a number of all natural health care supplements every day.

POSITIVE DRUG FREE WAYS TO RESTORE GOOD HEALTH

Based on the results we have personally achieved in restoring our good health without using any prescription drugs, we now know that there are a lot of all natural solutions that are far more effective in restoring good health than often useless and dangerous prescription drugs.

But, we also know that you will never hear about any of these all natural solutions to restore good health from the medical professionals or the big pharmaceutical companies because there is no money in it for them!

CAUTIONARY NOTE

We don't recommend that you abruptly quit taking your prescription drugs without a recommendation from your personal care physician.

IN FUTURE BLOG POSTS

In future blog posts, we will be sharing the foods we eat, the recipes we are using regularly, and the all natural supplements we are taking on a daily basis that have so dramatically changed our lives.

REQUESTS FROM OUR READERS

It has been brought to our attention that many of our readers have questions, comments, and personal health recovery testimonies of their own that they would like to share with our readers and many others have expressed an interest in reading testimonies from real people on how they recovered from specific illnesses without using prescription drugs.

FREE FORUM

Because of this, we would like to establish our Prime Life Resources Blog as a FREE FORUM for baby boomers and seniors to share natural healing testimonies, experiences, information, ideas and resources they have used that helped them overcome their own serious illnesses without drugs and/or to maintain their excellent health.

So, if you are a baby boomer or senior who has recovered from a serious illness without taking prescription drugs using only natural foods, food additives, and all natural supplements, we are inviting you to share your personal health testimonies with our readers.

INFORMATION NEEDED

When writing your personal testimonies, please be as specific as possible and include the following:

  • Tell us what your illness was.

  • Was your illness medically diagnosed?

  • What were the medical recommendations?

  • Why did you not follow these recommendations?

  • What were the actions you took (what, when and how you did it)?

  • What were the foods, food additives, recipes, and all natural supplements, etc. you used to defeat your serious illness? and

  • What was the time frame of your full recovery?

JUST LOOKING FOR SOLUTIONS?

Perhaps you don't have a testimony but are looking for an all natural solution to a specific illness or health problem. If so, simply define it and share that with our readers. Someone out there may just have the solution you are looking for.
