There are times when money is so much more than just money. This statement might sound a bit strange right now but read on...

There is a business in Pa. that understands this concept more so than most. The owner Joan Ressel and her husband own a breakfast and brunch restaurant called Coppertown in Pa. This couple had faced several set backs and not small ones.

Their business over the past winder had declined. Not really hard to understand considering the winter we have had and the fact that the business is a drive and walk thru business.

Joan and her husband were at a point of almost having to close the doors due to the personal set backs they had faced as well as the uncooperative weather slowing down business until one day...

Mind Melt on Skepticism

Mind Melt on Skepticism, defense gone bad. What I would like to share with you is the Art of Skepticism.

Skepticism is a defense mechanism within us for self preservation. This is a good thing.

Although, there are times that this mechanism prevents us from believing things that are true because of our skepticism we see it as a lie.

Example:

I work here at home and take care of the house and various animals and what not. My hands are in so much water they many times crack and bleed.

One day on the television I happen to stop and notice an add for a product that (so they said) cleared that situation right up. My thought...

Think about it, "how many hand lotions have you bought when your hands were so dry they cracked and would bleed. Tell me, "Did they do any good?"

Most the time the answer is, "No"!

It took viewing this same commercial several times while my hands were drying out more as well as hurting worse for me to try the product but buy it I did and...

Guess what?

It did just what they said it would do! (If you happen to have this problem) then I will share the product with you. I can tell you this really does work...

Now back to my point. Over time we have been lied to, scammed and totally taken advantage of so much that we have let our Skepticism rule our critical thinking.

"Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men."

This is true even within ourselves. If you let Skepticism, Fear, Hate and so on have absolute power; you will become a corrupted person and may not even know it. Be aware of your inter-self.

Objectively Observing Are Humans Capable?

Objectively observing something as humans is that even possible? Honestly this is something that I've never really given much thought to which is kind of strange because...

I am a Thinker!

I stumbled upon this very question while nosing around on the net. I found a great link and if you click here you can see it too! You will find some thought provoking things there I think you will like.

Anyway, it got me to thinking about that very question. The human condition of the mind and morality is seen, processed, categorized and filed away in our minds in a systematic way.

This systematic way is determined by what we are programed to think and feel. One example that comes to mind is this:

Back in the day, as you were watching T.V. You never heard cussing as well you never saw some of the things you do now even on commercials.

If they would have aired some of today's T.V shows and commercials back in the day, people's sensibilities would surely have been offended. Why?

Why would those back then be offended, when today we just take it as Status Quo? People were programed differently back then than they are today.

Objectively observing something you much be free and clear of all opinions, feelings and Pre-conclusive thought.

Now here's my mind melt question:

If the human mind is programed then how can we be free of all opinions, feelings and pre-conclusive ideas?

Think about this, every human has opinions how then is objectively observing something possible by a human?

Morality Right or Wrong and Who Decides?

Morality opens a serious can of worms as brain juices start flowing. Huge gaps in theological thinking can and will divide many people.

Collective Universal thoughts are that indeed right and wrong does exist. This concept is pretty much agreed upon but that’s where total agreement normally ends.
Let me give you an example:

What do you feel when you look at this picture…

When you first viewed this picture what happened? Did you get the warm fuzzes, did you say, “Awe that is the most adorable puppy.”?

Many people would have some reasonable facsimile of that reaction right?
Now, what would you think if you knew that some cultures eat dog meat?

Not so warm and fuzzy now right?

By the same token, some countries (Do Not) eat cows, so as you can see many times right and wrong is not black and white. There is a very large area in our lives that remains gray and will do so from now on.

So, who decides what is right and what is wrong then?
Is it what culture you live in, is it your own personal feelings, is it your government or the laws they make? Is it religion?

Now for the MIND MELT moment:

The one and only thing this issue has in common is...

• Culture (people)
• Personal feeling (people)
• Government (people)
• Laws (people)
• Religion (people)

People

People make up cultures; they make up governments, laws and different beliefs in religion. Now, think about this:

People make the decisions as to what is right or wrong depending on what they believe. With that being established the next question is, “Is there really any official morality or right and wrong?”

We as a people are not perfect therefore, if we as a people (human race) are not a reflection of perfection, how then can we decide on morality [The mirror of perfection] not to mention what may or may not be right or wrong?

Mind Melt: Baffling Simplicity About Numbers Isn't it?

There is a serious Mind Melt, when you stop and think about those ten tiny numbers. It hit me one day that these ten tiny little numbers mean about everything to the world.

You know there are just some things that are just so simple they are very easily overlooked and rarely thought about other than in their original role. Think about this...

These ten tiny little numbers are the very first things we as children learn right? I mean at the time we learn them it's a major victory for us as children and even more so for the parents of those children.

However within a very short time those tiny ten numbers are forgotten as the child moves on and parents eagerly await the child's next success story.

Here's the thing though those ten tiny forgotten numbers reverberate over and over throughout that child's life. Throughout the learning process these ten numbers are the over all make up of the world as we know it.

Simply put those ten numbers are in everything we learn, do, live and think about, those ten numbers make up our life. Even more baffling to think about is this...

Those tiny ten numbers make up infinity!

Self Help A Better You!

Self help is the road map to a better you. You should be confident, are you; you should like yourself and have a life of abundance do you?

If not, why not?

Self help is not magic it's a Science this is what confuses many people. Honestly a large percent of the universe thinks it's just plain bunk-junk!

When you came out of the womb you had no preconceived idea that there was anything you could not do, did you know that?

Your next question might be, “Well where then did my preconceptions of negative ideas come from? I hope you are ready for this answer you might not like it.

The ideas more times than not come from people you love care about and respect. People like family, friends and those that you look up to.

Although, well-meaning as they may be they are programing your brain in a certain way that’s detrimental to your success in all that you do.

You shouldn’t get mad at them or accuse them because they really believe when they do these things they are doing it for your good (believe it or not)!  

Many times they just want to keep you from getting your hopes up and then being let down. Then again it could be that they were raised the same way.

Quick example: My mother is and was the best mom ever. I was an only child and she over the years told me there was nothing I could not do...right?

However, after I got up to an age to start having those big dreams of childhood like I was going to be in the movies, sing or whatever her response was (more or less), “Yeah right.”  

I loved and respected my mom and knew mom knew best therefore, I took those negative words to heart. Now, did mom mean to do anything negative to me? No.

It was a natural response to either the way she was raised or let downs during her life which were never dealt with through any kind of reprogramming.

Many of the older generation knew nothing of self help books or tapes. The theory back in the day was, "That's life and that's just how it is, get over it!"

I can tell you personally:

• That is NOT just how it is
• You actually can do something about it
• Nothing in your life is set in stone (not the good or the bad)
• You can change it to be what ever you want it to be.

I have done things I never thought possible just by turning the negative to the positive and trying it regardless of what others think. You can to if you will just open up to reprogramming your mind to positiveness.

Icon Mickey Rooney dead at 93 years young with quite the portfolio in credits to the world of entertainment. His acting ability loomed much bigger than his little over five foot all stature.

Mickey Rooney rack up 300 films over the many years he provided us with the best in entertainment. He started in silent movies, progressing with time to the talkies, (which is more than what many of the silent stars accomplished after sound came out.

Rooney rose to the top for around two decades spanning the 30s and 40s. He had a boyish charm that captivated audiences then proceeded to sing and danced his way into the hearts of many.

• Mickey Rooney was born: September 23, 1920.
• His birth name was: Joseph Yule Jr.

His mother and father were actors in the hay-day of vaudeville and Mickey made his debut as a toddler. He gained much notoriety as a child actor in, "Andy Hardy", "Boys Town" he was the top box office seller in 1939 Mickey Rooney was married 8 times and has 9 children. He was awarded the "Lifetime Achievement Award in 1982 however this did nothing to change his feelings of being slighted by Hollywood because he was never able to capitalize on his earlier works. Mind Melt Moment Empowerment of Your Mind

Empowerment of your mind is your responsibility only. When you are strong of mind no one other than you can direct your mind.

Have you ever had one of those days that you are feeling quite well and then you run into someone with all kinds of negative thoughts and suddenly you're in a bad or depressed mood?

Do you know why?

The question why is right, the direction of that question however, is wrong.

Confused yet? If so that is understandable. You have a lot of baggage to get rid of but that's as simple as a question away. What question you ask...

No, that's not a question that's the answer.

Your mind is a living computer. How do computers work? Well, you type in questions i.e (What is the weather like in Texas today.) or any information you're looking for hit enter and what happens?

The Search for...

Begins

Now, if you want weather in Texas and you type in New York the answers that the computer comes back with are NOT the computers fault. Who's fault is it? "Yours"!

Your mind is the same. If you ask your computer (brain), "Why is it so hard for me to earn money, why don't people like me and so on you put the information into your brain that you"re broke and no one likes you.

Your brain then searches for all the negative reasons you are broke and lonely. Your are in essences back linking to the negativity.

Empowerment of your mind works like this, change the negative to positive. I know you're thinking ah.. Affirmations, yes but with a twist.

Now back to the twist, rather than negative questions use positive ones.

• Negative: Why am I broke
• Positive: Why does money come to me so easily
• Negative: Why does everyone hate or dislike me
• Positive: Why does everyone like me and want to be around me

Now, what I don't want you to do is search for these answer consciously. Like your computer which will answer your search by throwing it up on the computer screen; your answers will be answered in the life you are living.

Hoarding

Hoarding is something that most people will not or cannot understand. However confusing this might be to the majority of us it is a very serious problem.

The house above is one such case. A 67 year old man dies in his home in East Dallas and it took the police two days to actually find the body under the trash. It was reported that there was a wall of trash all in the house around ten foot tall.

The workers could not find another way in forcing them to cut a hole in the roof to search for the body, which took them two days to complete.

The neighbors that reporters talk to relayed they had no idea this way taking place in the home.

I have a staff that works for me that are the best there is and those that once laughed at my home based business idea now watch as I work from home while they pull the 9 to 5ers.

I have worked my way to where my dream is unfolding and coming true and yours will too.

Marketing Tactic: Kick to The Shin Then Show "Your" Business

A Marketing tactic that always gets people attention. (Bad Attention) This type of attention you don't want or need.

See if this sounds familiar to you...

You are on Facebook, Google or Skype take your pick. You are minding your own business then suddenly out of no where you have a  friend (?) message you saying,

"Hey (insert your name here) how are you? It has been a long time hasn't it?

You of course know it has because you are sitting there wondering who the crap is this?

Then you get the pitch: "I saw this and thought of you "Blah, blah, blah..."

Thought of you? They don't even know you! Your just a name on their list.

Now, normally I'm polite and sit there and just let them ramble! Then try as politely as possible to exit the conversation with a thank you I'll take a look later or some other limp excuse.

This approach is much like a kick to the shin. It is designed to get your attention. It works too, well, up to a point anyway.

If you have been doing marketing this way, granted the attention was gained but, very short lived. Then the aggravation sits in and guess what?

You have not only lost a potential lead, prospect or sign up you will...

Most likely get deleted off the friend list or reported for spam.

Do Not do marketing this way! You not only ruin it for you but every other marketer out there you know why?

Because, when marketers use the shin kick method soon everyone that sees any marketer only sees your approach and this is what happens...

What you do, how you act and the way you present yourself effects much more than just you and "your" business.

Run your business with honor and those you meet will honor you as well as all other marketers.

Leads turn into prospects and prospects to customers GO OUT AND GET EM!" If you are sitting around wishing for them you can forget it!

Most people think that getting leads is the hardest part however in truth it's turning those leads into prospects that proves to be a problem for many.

Do you know why?

This is normally what happens: You talk to someone or get someone's email and that's it! Maybe, you send them one email maybe you talk to them a time or two again and that's it.

You must remain in constant communication with your lead to lead them to the prospect pool. This is when you really have to start swimming in this pool. It's much harder to move them from prospect to customer.

Your best bet for your list of leads, prospects and customers is communication, and yes I know that takes time to contact them all one by one that's why you need to go here...

Marketing Like a Child The Only Way to Success...

Uncertain Moments in Marriage

Uncertain moments in marriage happen. These moments are not uncommon and they are not something you should fear.

During a lifetime living with someone there certainly will be those moments on both sides. Let me repeat this because it's so important...

It is normal and not something you should fear.

There are many things we as couples have to be unsure about like: does our partner still love us, is there something about us that's driving them nuts, is there something that could be changed to make things better and so on.

The best thing you can do for your marriage or relationship is don't let stuff stew and build up. You feel unsure about something ask!

Don't hope that the other person can read your mind, don't expect the other person to come to you and tell you what is bothering them. Most likely they would be afraid of hurting your feelings.

I know you have heard the communication rule a million times but it's really true. One word of advice though...

Don't assume that this great communication thing is going to go smoothly. Don't assume it's going to be like on Father Knows Best where two reasonable adults sit down and hash through the problem.

Face it that was back in the good old days and even back in the good old days that only happened on TV NOT in real life!

My husband and I are not timid people so when we communicate it is straight to the point...

LOL.

Goes like this... Hubby had a rough case of Montezuma's revenge. He goes to the doctor who ask him, "When did this start? Hubby said,

"After I ate her crappy cooking!"

Doc said, "Sounds like food poisoning."

It's then that hubby turns looks at me with an evil grin like..."Got Ya! We are here and you can't fight back! Ha/ha...

As I raise my eyebrow at my charming hubby; I turn to the Doc and said...

"Hmm I see, so I guess next time I should add more poisoning?"

Yes, it's all about communication! LOL

Have a great marriage, be straight and to the point! You may on occasion hear something that you didn't want to hear that's true but...

Knowing is better than not knowing. Grab on to love and faith and just dive in find out what parts need tuning and what parts need to be replaced in your love engine.

You can either fix it or let it run rough until the engine falls out completely.
