 In Living the Science of Mind, Ernest Holmes asks, “What do we want to see in this mirror?  And have we the courage to admit that what we are looking at in the mirror is a reflected image of our own outlook on life? Are we looking at antagonism, resentment, confusion?  Are we looking at fear, failure, unhappiness?  And are we actually willing to look into this mirror of life and say, “That is I”?  and then, if we do not like what we see, have we enough confidence to believe that we can change it?”  Let us all have that confidence right here and right now.

There is only one power in the universe.  I call that power life, love, the divine.  It is the true nature of all that is. It expresses in the world as grace, forgiveness, clarity, confidence, success, and happiness.  This power is eternal and limitless. This power expresses as me.

As I know this is true for me, I know it is true for everyone reading this prayer.  I have all the qualities of the divine.  It works through me, as me.  I am conscious of the divine and all its gifts in every moment.  I am the expression of grace, forgiveness, clarity, confidence, success, and happiness.

I declare for myself that, YES, I am the fairest of them all.  I know that to be true because the Divine flows through my body and it cannot be any other way.  I release anything that does not sustain my life as a divine being.  I am free of all fear and I live my life fearlessly.   I am abundant and I share that abundance.  I am loved and I am a loving presence in all situations.  I enjoy my life and I am happy.  Everything is in perfect order.

I am so grateful for my life and the expression of spirit that works through me. .  I give thanks for the creative nature of life    Thank you life!

Accepting all the good in my life, I release these words to the perfection of the universal law and know they cannot come back void.

There is One Presence that is immersed within, without, and throughout all things. This Presence is the Amazing Force filled with Pure Enlightenment. Love, Power, Joy, Abundance, Prosperity and All the Goodness of LIfe is It’s breath.

It is also my breath– for there is no separation. I have this pure enlightenment pouring through me, as me. And just as I know this is true for me, I also know it is true for you. You are, and I am, immersed in this presence and filled with this presence. Love, power, joy, abundance, prosperity and all the goodness in life is at hand.

Knowing this, I live in the realization that every single moment, every single encounter, and every single experience is filled with this light– we meet every circumstance deeply rooted in the power of this presence. Joy fills our experiences and it is a wonderful gift shared with everyone we meet. Love is immersed in our thoughts, our words, and our actions. We live in the realization that abundance and prosperity has no separation from us– it is a part of the same powerful flow of all things– and it, too, is at hand! This amazing flow is endless and always available since it is a part of who we are!

I give great thanks for this realization and knowingness that the kingdom of heaven is at hand and here now for you and me!

I release my word knowing it is done and knowing the law is the perfect partner to my word and manifests precisely the seeds I plant into it!

I Have a Dream that calls forth the most powerful Energy there is – God.  I speak Its name and It calls forth Itself in Its Entirety.  It comes forth in all ways and always because It holds nothing back.  It is Everything – Freedom, Grace, Peace, Love, Harmony, Pure Goodness and Pure Faith.  It holds nothing back.

It holds nothing back from me.  I am born of this freedom, this energy, grace, peace, and love.  The spirit that animates my body is the direct impress of everything that has ever been and everyone my family has ever been.  Yet, I’m unique – made in the image and likeness of a Divine so pure and loving.  I am the only me. 

I step forward in consciousness, in this freedom because I am the evolution of my family and of humankind.  I am the evolution of the greatest yet to be and so I lend my voice to all of the prayers that have gone before me.  I pray for the equality that brings peace.  I pray for a time when every child goes to bed safe, fed and loved.  I pray for a time when we rejoice at the weddings of every couple, whether they be hetero- or homosexual.  I pray that the injustice based on the color of someone’s skin, on their gender, or on their sexual preference is eliminated and instead we all live in harmony.  I pray that we celebrate the human race and that we treat each other with the love and peace that is God.  There is only one race and it is human. 

I am so grateful to live in these times and to know that each of us is the perfect evolution of our humanity.  I am so grateful to my brothers and sisters who walk the spiritual path with me at the Rio Grande Center for Spiritual Living and in Science of Mind all over the world.  I appreciate the kindness and love I meet in my life and I am grateful each time I see God staring back at me from the eyes of another.  Life is good.  And so I let it be.  And so it is.  Amen.

There is One Being that encompasses all that is in form and in non-manifested fields of energy. All that is visible is God, the One Being out of which all is made. The Universe is the Body of God as its creation and  expression. The Universe is order, Love, Law, Beauty, Harmony, Peace, Compassion and Serenity. Everything that exists is of God. God is Abundance, Prosperity and the Good.

As I watch the snow falling outside the cabin high in the mountains I am warmed by the blazing fire in the fireplace. The skiers have just returned and their excited voices fill the cabin with joy and eager anticipation of the evening meal. My dog wags his tail in welcome as the feeling of love permeates all the activity. Everywhere I look I see the activity of Spirit. Each snowflake, the fire, every family member, my pet dog, the trees outside and the meal we are about to enjoy are all made of the same substance: God.

God or Spirit is everywhere present. It is right here with me and it is fully present where you are as well. Whether It is visible or invisible, gigantic or minute makes no difference for it is the substance out of which all things are made. So, it must be creative and limitless if everything is made of it. I am made out of its limitless supply and I know this is true for everyone.

Each one of us is a unique expression of this limitless creativity.

I stand on the eve of a new year, a new beginning, and know I am the creator of my life. I can set new intentions and envision new possibilities knowing that the power that has created the magnificent mountains is the same power that co-creates with me. I am entitled to new possibilities. This is my truth and it is the truth for each person reading this prayer.

I claim a life that is joy-filled, abundant and harmonious. There is nothing that stands in the way of this Truth. Any belief systems that are contrary to this thinking simply melt away into the nothingness from which they came. I pay attention to my thoughts and gently release those which no longer serve me. I praise and welcome the Good in my life.

My heart is filled with gratitude for my life, my family, for the limitless Good that envelopes me. Each day I am grateful for a roof over my head and a generous supply of food. I am grateful for a healthy body. I am grateful for my beloved husband and a loving family. I am grateful for Science of Mind which teaches me that I am a powerful being capable of creating the life I choose. With gratitude I know my intentions are already complete in the mind of God. I release my words to the powerful action of the Law that always says, “Yes.” I let go and simply trust.

And so it is.

I rejoice in the knowing that God is the One Source. The One Source of everything in the Universe. Everything I see, touch, taste and hear. It is omnipresent and omniscient. God is forever before me, in me and around me. I am immersed in this purity of Divine Love. There is no separation. I know that this Absolute Unconditional Love responds to my every thought. I know Spirit response to me is perfect. 

So in this present moment I am one with God. I am one with the Unconditional Love of the Universe. I am made whole. I am complete. All that I once clung to in my mind, I release, I abandon, I let go of all that which no longer serves me in order to allow the wholeness, the newness of Spirit to be made manifest in my life. I let go of the past. I let go of my resistance to the future. I stand in the now, knowing that this and only this is where I find God in my life. And I freely and effortlessly and willingly move my being into the Light of God’s All-knowing presence. I have faith. And I completely accept that there is a Power that is Great and Good. 

I receive and accept blessings in my life. I am grateful that I live in the Truth. I let go. I let God. 

I breathe in that essence of the Divine. I relax in peace. I know all is well.And I let it be.

And so it is.

“To everything, turn, turn, turn  . . There is a season . . .and a time for every purpose under heaven.” 

This day I turn to that Infinite Presence and Divine Intelligence, that Power that I know resides within, truly knowing and accepting that the spark of Life I carry within me is permeated with light, love, peace and joy.  I turn to the Presence knowing it manifests as mother, father, lover and friend, and seeing its face looking back at me everywhere I look.  I acknowledge that each and every person on this precious planet is infused with Infinite Energy, and each person has the inherent capacity to be a veritable vessel of Light.

As I learn to trust more fully in that omniscient, omnipotent Presence, I truly know that God perfects all that concerns me.  I breathe in the Peace, and let go of the stress.  I breathe in the Harmony, and let go of the discord.  I breathe in the Abundance, and let go of any concept of lack.   I breathe in Wholeness and Perfection, and let go of dis-ease or malcontent.

This day I place my trust in Life, and Life supports me.  This day I start anew on my path to a greater and greater unfoldment of my absolute good, and truly know and believe that in God all things are possible – all things.  And I know that this good is unlimited, and there is enough for all people everywhere to participate in its blessings – I see this good spreading and multiplying with every breath I take, with every thought I think, with every action I initiate.  This is the season for my unlimited good and well being, and I see it set in motion for all of humankind.  This is the day that I fully trust in the process and learn to live in the flow of my never-ending good.

This truly is the season to turn within.  This is the day to live up to my greater purpose under heaven.  And for this day, I am eternally grateful. 

And so it is!

Many of us are thinking of and treating for the New Year. Many people set resolutions to make changes to their behaviors….to stop this or to start that.
Ernest Holmes states, there are no mistakes, there are only consequences to actions. “God makes no mistakes”. You are a reflection of this perfect essence so therefore no mistakes have been made in God.

As I reflect on this past year and I see things in my life that are not where I want them to be, I know that I have not made any mistakes but I have made choices that have led me away from the outcome I desire. I look at my actions and going forward chose a different way of being, a way that leads me to my desired way of life.

I have not made a mistake, I have made choices.

I am so grateful for knowing that I am the perfect reflection of the one powerful source in the universe and as such I reflect that perfection back into the world around me. I move forward with the knowledge and experiences I have gained and I act accordingly. Each day I make decisions that lead me closer to the life I want to live. I look back over the year(s) and bless where I have come from knowing what was there is perfect and has led me to this point in my life. If there is judgement then there will be pain for judgement moves me away from the knowingness that all is good and all is God.

I release this judgement and I release the pain. I live in harmony with where I am and where I am going. I focus on my desired outcome and in making decisions that lead me to that goal. If I must be different to attain that goal then I make the necessary changes with ease and grace so that my path is clear and effortless.

I know when I look back next year I will have accomplished so much more then I ever imagined.

As I know this for me I know this for everyone who reads and contemplates this message for there are no mistakes in God. You are a perfect reflection of the Universal Oneness that I call God.

January is the time of year when we mark new beginnings.  It is the first month and anything is possible.  All of the work we have done in previous months, previous years, previous lives, has set the tone for the new launch.  We start a new life right here and right now.  All of the Good that we have done, comes to us, all of the Love that we have spread comes to us, all of the Compassion and the Joy, the Happiness and the Prosperity, the Willingness to SURRENDER, all of it comes to us right now.  We are one with God, there is no separation.  God is in us and through us, God fills us. 

Perfect God, perfect being perfect man; each of us an individualized personification of God as the One Source, each of us having that divine human experience.  I know that the outermost God and the innermost God are one and the same, and to the extent that I realize it – it is true.  My experience of heaven on earth is limited only to my capacity for knowing and accepting the presence of God in me, God as me, at all times.  Just as this is true for me it is true for each of you. You are an individualized personification of God as the One Source.  There is no separation; each of us part of the One. 

I speak my Word and my Word is Law that we are all on the exact journey we need to be on.  There are no mistakes.  Each of us is a child of God.  Each of us divinely guided to be exactly where we are at exactly this time; perfection unfolding, life expanding, life everlasting.  The sum total of our experiences brings us to this place and this time, perfectly preparing us for what has to happen next, for there are no mistakes in this cosmic consciousness.   Choose left, and the perfect path opens, choose right and the perfect path unfolds.  All roads lead to God.  I declare for each of us the courage to step past that boundary, the wisdom to know beyond a shadow of a doubt that the choice that best serves us appears like a run way in front of us, with the spotlights on.  I release any FEAR around making the right choice, knowing that I am backed by divine intelligence and wisdom, knowing that whatever decisions are made are simply and deliciously perfect.  When I am ready the door will open.  I hold the truth for each of us that the joy is truly in the journey.  All choices are the right choice and are supported by the Love that is God. 

I am so grateful for my journey, and for the opportunities that are coming my way.  I am so grateful that doors are opening and that I am able to release any fear and walk through them.  I am so grateful knowing that all paths lead to God and while some paths are steeper or rockier and they each present different lessons and opportunities for growth, they all lead to God.  I give thanks to God for the opportunity to make choices knowing that my decisions are divinely guided, knowing that they come from a place of Love and kindness.  I surrender to God and know that all is well.   I give thanks knowing that this manifestation has already occurred.

I release my Word to the Law of Mind, knowing it cannot come back to me void, knowing that it has already happened.  I anchor this prayer into place by saying AND SO IT IS!

Emerson’s Essays

What a great metaphor for the thing(s) that bring our experiences to life – “Thought Ancestors” -.  Thoughts are the beginning of what is certain to appear, and we are reminded that effects are always equal to their causes.

In the Science of Mind text, Holmes writes “thought is an inner movement, which is largely the results of one’s perception of life and his reaction to it.  Every time this movement takes place, it takes place within Mind; upon Cause according to Law.  We are dealing with the same Power that molds the planets and all that is upon them, and the limit of our ability to use this Power is not in Principle but in our understanding of it!”

According to these two Metaphysical geniuses, thought/thinking is not idle musings, but instead, is the use of Law for creative purposes, be it conscious or subconscious.  It is through understanding of thought and how we use it that we bring forth that which we seek to manifest.  It is clear, then, that we must consciously choose our thoughts if it is our intention to create the life we desire to live.  It is all about choice!  Holmes says “we cannot live a choiceless life.”  Therefore, we are choosing every day, all day AND we are using Creative Cause/Mind as we do so. Thus, it stand to reason, that if we are using the same Mind that molds the planets, and we are, what could possibly prevent our thoughts from manifesting?  NOTHING! 

Our affirmation for today is:  I create the world that I choose to live in by thinking thoughts of Love, Peace, Joy, Harmony and Abundance.

In this sacred moment of now, I recognize Kindness as my Truth.  There is only One God, One Mind, One Creative Intelligence.  Pure Spirit, God, Perfect Law, Divine Order, Limitless Substance surround me with the warmth of Kindness for Kindness is but one of the boundless attributes of God. 

In the embracing of Kindness I know that I am whole perfect and complete for I am made in the image and likeness of God.  I recognize that a Power greater than I inspires me to be the example of the person God intends me to be in every moment of every day, allowing my gifts of Kindness to touch every open mind and heart and allowing my heart to be open to receive my blessed gifts of Kindness as well.

I love and approve of myself.  All of my resources are here right now, waiting for me to accept them with open arms.  And I do.  No person, place or thing has any power over me.  I am free for The Divine lives in my heart.   Being kind and accepting Kindness is my birthright and I accept it now.

In the spirit of Kindness and unbridled love, God sends a sunrise every morning and a sunset every evening.  God sends flowers every spring; solely for the purpose of mirroring how simple and bountiful life is.  I accept these acts of Kindness with deep gratitude.

And so, my heart is filled to overflowing with gratitude in the knowing that Kindness lives in, through as and around me.  I release my Word into the Law knowing it cannot come back to me void.

IT IS DONE!  IT IS COMPLETE! AND SO IT IS!

The Light and Life of God are here right now.  I invoke this Light knowing that as I do, I step into alignment with Cause and Effect.  I invoke First Cause and know that all ideas that no longer serve my life fall away in the wake of this Powerful Idea.  First Cause is Truth, Peace, Love, Beauty, Happiness, and Health.  It is the Perfect Idea from which I’m created.

Like First Cause, the perfect idea from which I’m created is truth, peace, love, beauty, happiness, and health.  I am the light of my own life and all that I say or do is part of the ideas that course through my mind. As I know this for me, I know this for everyone who reads this prayer.

I affirm and declare absolute peace; that peace that surpasses all human understanding.  I affirm and declare that all of my life is created in the image of good and, as such, good is all there is.  I affirm and declare abundance for myself and for all the people of the Rio Grande Center and with whom I have dealings.  I affirm and declare health for myself and all people that I encounter.  I am a blessing to all with whom I interact and I am so grateful. 

I give thanks for my own light and for my life.  I am so grateful for my partner, daughter, family, and every single member of the Rio Grande Center. I am happy that I get to live the life I have and that peace reigns everywhere I go.  I am thankful and I am happy. 

Knowing that cause has been effectuated, I simply release my word and know it is done.  And so it is.
