We have all heard the above statement. It is one of the most used quotes in society, but did you know that this is in fact true. Studies have shown how laughter can affect you mentally as well as physically.

Laughter reduces stress. How?

Short term effects of laughter:

Laughter enhances your intake of oxygen-rich air, stimulates your heart, lungs and muscles, and increases the endorphins that are released by your brain. Endorphines are chemicals that when released will give you an all over feel good feeling, thereby reducing your stress levels.

Laughter can also stimulate circulation and aid muscle relaxation, both of which help reduce some of the physical symptoms of stress.
When you are tense and we all get tense with the day to day activities in life, relaxing tense muscles is a big benefit in feeling better after a long exhausting day.

Long term effects of laughter:

Laughter may ease pain by causing the body to produce its own natural painkillers.
Laughter may also break the pain-spasm cycle common to some muscle disorders.

Laughter can also make it easier to cope with difficult situations.
It also helps you connect with other people. It's like an ice breaker to soothe tensions when you are nervous around people you don't know or having to speak publicly.

It has also been found that laughter can improve your immune system.
Negative thoughts manifest into chemical reactions that can affect your body by bringing more stress into your system and decreasing your immunity. In contrast, positive thoughts actually release neuropeptides that help fight stress and potentially more-serious illnesses.

How to improve your all over mood? you guessed it.

Many people experience depression, sometimes due to chronic illnesses. Laughter can help lessen your depression and anxiety and make you feel happier.

It is pretty easy to set up if you already have a facebook account.

After you make your fanpage.Find a good cover to use on your fanpage.

One that either is provided by your business or make one yourself.

Don’t forget to add your photo as well, people trust you more if you use

a real photo of yourself.

Start inviting your friends to like your fanpage. You can post about your business.

Also share a blog post you think they may be interested in. Such as the many ways to

advertise online or great quotes, pictures and video;s.

Don’t forget to be social and comment on your friends fanpages.

Create a twitter account. search for people in marketing or business for themselves.

Monday Mornings Matter

The best man I ever knew.

He is always there to help, he is the shinning star in the darkness. When hardship's comes to him he just smiles and says its ok even though he is filled with pain. Waiting for the ambulance to come and pick him up, he says get my wallet. I say ok and look inside, what do I find a picture of me and my brother. It's an old one, I was 10 and my brother was 2. That's how he still see us, as his babies.

What a bumpy ride to the hospital he says with a laugh. He can't hear so well anymore but that's fine the words I love you is written on all over my face and his. The nurse's are gathered around him and one says to me I hope he will be alright, he is such a sweet soul, I say yes he is.

Thats my dad I say, the best man I ever knew. 

I dedicate this to my dad and all the other dad's out there. If you are lucky to still have yours let them know everyday how much they mean to you and thank them for the sacrifices they have made though-out their lives to protect,guide and teach you to be the best "you" can be.

My online business

My Eldest daughter came to see me yesterday. She was so excited and said here mom your mother's day present.

I looked at the calender and said well you are a little early don't you think? She said I couldn;t wait.

She handed me one of the best present I have ever got, a picture album of her and my soon to be son-in-law.

When I opened that book and looked at these picture;s it took my breath away. My little girl really had grown up, and getting married.

What really got me where the picture's, she told me little tid-bits about each picture, like on this one mom "my

bottom almost showed", glad it didn't because it was my favorite. Her in her little white spring dress dress and

cowboy boots, and her fiance picking her up and looking into each others eyes with so much love.

She told me once "I am marrying my best friend". The engagement album surely showed that, she was right, on another picture

she said hey mom he liked this one because,"he said it made him look slimmer". She then said he was craking me up all day

while we where on location having these done. I could go on and on about this book she made me, but the rest of the

story is just for them.

They are following their dreams, how about you?

Have a blog or website? Here are some tips to increase the number of people on your mailing list.

Install a sign-up form for your visitors. This way, every time you write a new post they will be automatically e-mailed. This is a good way to stay in touch with people who have found your website interesting.

Wordpress has a cool add-on called Jetpack. It is easy to install and has a built-in sign-up form. You get a list of usernames and e-mail addresses of those who have signed up. It also has an opt-out link at the bottom of every e-mail that your readers receive from you. This opt-out link gives your readers a choice. I don't know about you, but I like having a choice. Chances are that your readers will see this as a positive sign, and not opt-out or report your e-mail as spam.

Jetpack also has other great widgets and tools that many bloggers find useful, and it's totally free. Try it on for size.

Being married to a truck driver is not the easiest thing in the world. Here are some ways to overcome problems associated with the long absences and resulting loneliness:


* Talk as much as you can thoughout the day; even a sweet text during your busy day can keep communication lines open.

* Keep your spouse engaged about what is going on at home, but don't worry them with problems you can take care of yourself.

* Be willing to hear about their day. They have a very stressful job, and at times their frustrations will get the best of them.

* Send your spouse pictures of the home or pets, especially children if you have any. A picture is worth a thousand words.

* Speaking of pictures, send some of yourself; keep the spark alive if you know what I mean. They will love it.

* Never start an argument over the phone especially when your spouse is driving; this can be very distracting and dangerous.

* Keep yourself occupied to relieve some of the loneliness; a full time job, hobby, and exercising can work wonders to get your mind off things.

*Trust is a big factor; don't give in to unfounded worries. Talk to your spouse if you have these concerns; they can be deadly to a marriage if not handled upfront.

*Use skype to video call and see each other face to face. It's free to download and use and it's a great way to stay connected.

*Just remember your truckdriving spouse is just as lonely as you are, and he worries about what is going on at home as much, if not more, then you worry about him. Love and respect him and the sacrifices he makes everyday to support the family. Remind them everyday how much you love and respect them for what they do. For a man this is especially important; men crave respect.


I have been married for 14 years, and my husband has been a truck driver for 6 of those years. These tips have helped to save our marriage and, more importantly, helped us to bond more then when he was at home all the time.
